RE- the QH looking arabian you just shared-- my brief thoughts on the hindend: very light hind end, straight/open through the stifle, very camped out behind, weak loin, upright pasterns. Other than upright pasterns (and similarly upright shoulder) in front too, I am not too bothered by the front end (well, other than the downhill thing, but) it is AMAZING to me how little that horse looks like an 'arabian' to me!
Yeah, I thought that if the hind end weren’t so much of a mess he’d look just fine - it’s honestly another case of a horse looking like two different horses were stitched together haha
And right? What tickles me pink is that he doesn’t come from the BYB and he’s not a dreaded Straight Egyptian horse, but he looks less typey than most of those so-called QH-esque BYB SE horses.
