i’ve received a few of these, which i don’t have anymore. i’m glad though, because those represent recovery for other people. i wasn’t doing it for myself, instead to keep my parents happy which never worked. almost ten years later, and i’m finally doing it for myself. it’s going to be a long road, but i’m prepared to do the work. recovery isn’t easy, i’ve tried and failed time and time again. just remember to pick your head up, and never stop trying. #livingthesoberlife #2weeksclean
With graduation comes a few bittersweet moments. Saying goodbye to this group of gentleman is one of the hardest things I will ever have to do. Throughout my years a Warbler I have grown to love and care for each of them individually. They trusted me to lead them and even when we had to let go of our home, they never lost hope and continued to push forward. I am proud of each and every one of them for what they have been able to accomplish. Thank you for allowing me to be your brother, and thank you for being mine. I will happily pass the title to Jonathan, who will lead with as much grace and wisdom as those before. “We are a brotherhood of man, your lifelong membership is free.”
There are few people who can encourage you, inspire you, enlighten you and uplift you… but my dearest clever handsome @brettgoldstein you are one of the rare! You encourage me to eat junk food beyond my stomachs capacity. You inspire me to take that Zumba class despite my issues with rhythm. You enlighten me with your bold fashion choices. You uplift me with your self deprecating childhood jokes. In all my experiences with you laughter is present and food is the foundation! We have experienced and consumed so much over the years of our friendship. I love you more than the dozens of gluten filled donuts I used to consume with you! Above all I’m grateful for your life and eyebrows each day. Happy Birthday Bestie! #happybirthday
