One of the rewards we plan to have for Kickstarter is backer only live streams via a Facebook group. Why a Facebook group? It was the most cost effective way we could figure out how to keep these live streams completely backer only. It was also the only way we could truly block and remove someone from the stream if we absolutely needed to along with many other features we needed.
Kickstarter Live seemed like the simplest alternative, but it isn’t backer exclusive. Then we thought about Google Hangouts, but that’s prone to intrusive bots and people that can find their way in because it can’t truly be private and it’s mute/kick people function is lacking. We thought of join.me, but you have to pay for a subscription to allow a lot of people to join and others could still invite more people in. So as it appears our best bet for a truly backer exclusive experience is Facebook Live.
We’re going to test this method of live streaming with our backers from our first Kickstarter attempt and see how it’ll work out before we finalize it for a reward for our second Kickstarter attempt.
I just woke up from a weird dream. I was watching Markiplier play a game, and it was near the end of the video. He was in in kitchen talking about some upcoming livestream, when all the sudden he goes quiet. His face becomes a neutral stare and the camera starts glitching.
He stares at the camera for a couple of seconds, his skin turning an ashen grey and his eyes becoming dark. And then his face contorts into creepy, hella unnatural expressions. Like his mouth opened so wide he looked like a snake unhinging his jaw.
Then he screamed and the video started flickering pictures/little animations of different things. Freddy Fazbear and Slenderman are the only ones I remember seeing. And while that was happening you could hear Mark laughing hysterically(or sobbing?), the sound warped. And occasionally a clip of normal-looking Mark would cut into the middle of the flickering pictures/animations, screaming “HELP ME!”
And, all the sudden, everything was normal again. Sort of. Mark was smiling, but he looked disheveled and a little scared. “And I’ll see YOU in the next video!” he says, his eyes becoming black again for the briefest of seconds. “Buh-bye!"
Hulu has partnered with the Walt Disney Company and 21st Century Fox for its upcoming livestreaming TV service, the company announced Tuesday. Meaning you’ll get to watch news, sports and live events in real time. In total, Hulu will have over 35 TV networks available for live broadcast. But it won’t be cheap.
We’re glad to announce our upcoming Livestream this Friday the 27th at 11pm GMT+00! ・:*(〃∇〃人)*:・
This time we will be streaming some programming and art, as well as a Q&A session throughout the whole stream, allowing you to get your answers in real time! (●///▽///●) Please be sure to pay us a visit, we would be very happy to hang out with you guys once again!
We will provide the link around 1h/30min before the start of the actual stream!
So in honor of the recently passed Bob Hoskins, I’m gonna do a livestream of four movies he did that I grew up on as a kid. Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Super Mario Bros, Hook and Balto. (yes I know he had a supporting role in the last two but it was a big supporting role so they count)
I’m not sure when I’ll do this as I need to get the other three (only own them on VHS) but once I do get them, I will do this livestream tribute to a great actor.
Harry's ambiguous sexuality comments will fade from the gossip headlines unless it's quickly and steadily followed up by more hints. The public has a short attention span. This is why I think the upcoming days, especially the livestream, is crucial to determining a time frame for Laundry Day. If nothing else suggestive happens this week, I'm leaning towards a longer-term (months?) coming out plan. If more hints are dropped, it'll be soon. Too much gossip will demand an answer.
What you say makes a lot of sense. The media moves on to newer stories very quickly. So if they want to keep the public’s attention, new things need to keep happening. The next few weeks will be extremely instructive.
Hi everyone! As many of you heard, PJO Voices is currently working on an audio play. An audio play tells the story entirely through audio and still photos. So for a project as big as this one, we’ll be needing more artists to make it successful! Not an artist yourself? You can still help out by reblogging this post and spreading the word to anyone you know who might be interested!
Auditions will be open on Saturday, March 12 (which is also the date of our upcoming livestream) and we’ll be more than happy to answer any of your questions either during the livestream or right here on the blog.
For more information on auditioning, please check out our auditions page and auditioning FAQ!
