How about a blurb where harry shows his girlfriend how he edits/records a song etc? it could be cute/fluffy/smutty ??

I could hear the soft rumble of bass coming from the basement the moment I opened the front door which meant one thing.  Harry was downstairs in the studio.  Usually I avoided going down there when he was in creative mode.  I didn’t want to bother him or get in the way.  He always used to tell me how hard it was for him to get going on an idea so I didn’t want to take him out of the zone.

But today, today was different.  I had spent the morning arguing with my mother about living in Harry’s house even though we weren’t married.  She was a southern belle and you “just didn’t do that” where she came from.

The afternoon was a series of one meeting after another where the males in my company felt it necessary to speak to me as if I were stupid.

And somewhere in the middle was a lunch that I spilled on myself after the fork went through they styrofoam.

I needed comfort, closeness, familiarity.

I needed Harry.

Was it selfish?  To go downstairs and interrupt him just because I’d had a bad day?  It was.  I admit it.  But I just needed a few minutes of cuddling while he kissed my hair and held me close.  I promised myself I’d go right back upstairs and leave him alone.

I crept down the stairs as silently as possible, making my way to the door.  I heard the playback of a song he had probably just laid down the voice track for.  Perfect timing for me to get in and get out.

I knocked twice,

“Baby?”

“Come on in, Love.”  He said without hesitation.

Filming had only been a couple, and it was sad when it came to an end. You had enjoyed it though, it was one of the most exciting times of your life. Sure everything was already planned from the start, but as you looked at Taehyung, shaking hands with the director and other staff, you couldn’t help but think there was something genuine about him.

You were used to having people act nice around you, it was your daily life. As an idol, you had become accustomed to the way people would smile at you, or laugh at your jokes because the only thing they wanted to do was make you happy. Their fear was that you wouldn’t like them, and it caused them to be someone they weren’t.

But with Taehyung it was different. There was never a point on the show where you felt like Taehyung had not been either completely serious with you or himself with you. Sure, he was following along, but there were parts that he didn’t do or said completely off script that only furthered your ideas.

You looked at him now, as he talked with the staff and your heart fluttered. It seemed silly to you that it only took a couple weeks for you to fall completely and utterly in love with him. And you were sure he felt the same, but there was a little voice in the back of your head that made you think otherwise.

Sure you were an idol as well, and you had a lot of fan who supported what you did, but there were some who weren’t happy with this season of We Got Married. There were fans who said you and Taehyung were disgusting together, people who said you either weren’t good enough for him or he wasn’t good enough for you.

And that was why you never said anything to him.

Second Chances (Zach Dempsey X Reader X Jeff Atkins)

- You and Zach had gotten into an argument, later on he ended up cheating on you. Jeff helped you through the breakup which led to you getting feelings for him, but still having feelings for Zach.
— — — — — — — — — — — — —

You and Zach had been dating for a little over a year now, but you guys kept getting distant by the day. The reason for that was because you guys had gotten into a huge argument about a week ago.

He said that you would always flirt with other guys and he called you horrible names like slut and whore. Which led to you slapping him. Although you didn’t break up with him and he didn’t break up with you, you didn’t know what the situation was at this point.

You hated being distant with him, you guys used to be so close. You went to his house, you needed to fix this you just couldn’t take it anymore. You got to his house and you knew his parents weren’t home so you took out the spare key he gave you. You walked in and like you expected everything was quiet except you heard people talking upstairs, you could hear Zachs voice. You stopped in front of his door. You then heard a females voice. The door swung open, you just stared at the girl wide eyed, she was beautiful but you’ve never seen her before.

“Y/N what are you doing here?!” Zach said while quickly putting on a shirt. You noticed a hickey on his neck and one on hers as well. Tears filled your eyes and you just ran out the door. He chased after you calling your name but you ignored him. He grabbed your wrist.

“Let go of me!” You yelled at him. You could see a hint of sadness in his eyes but soon that left.

“Fuck you Dempsey, I knew something was up, you were acting more distant and seemed like you didn’t have an interest in me anymore.” You said. He scoffed,

“I loved you so much up until you started flirting with all the guys especially Jeff! Then you became a slut!” He yelled back at you. You and Jeff had been best friends forever, but Zach always thought you two had a thing.

“I never flirted with any of them Zach, because I was yours! I would never do such a thing!” You yelled back tears streaming down your cheeks.

“But now I’m not so goodbye.” You said walking away, he didn’t chase after you this time.

You got home ran to your room and texted Jeff to come over with your favorite snacks and movies. He said he’ll be there in 5.

Jeff arrived and he walked in like always and opened your rooms door to see you crying. He rushed to you.

“What’s wron—” you didn’t let him finish his sentence you just hugged him.

“He cheated on me.” You said in between sobs. You noticed his fist clench.

“That fucking asshole!” He hugged you even tighter. Jeff wanted so badly to go and beat him up but he didn’t want to leave you alone. For a couple of weeks that’s all you guys did. You dreaded school but luckily you rarely saw Zach and Jeff was always with you.

As you and Jeff were laying down watching movies one day he just randomly stated,

“Prom is tonight we should go you need to get out of this room, love.” Jeff said you shook your head.

“No I look horrible and Zach is gonna be there.” You said.

“You look beautiful, he’s gonna see how great you’re doing without him so c'mon let’s gooooo.” Jeff said while picking you up. You squealed while telling him to put you down.

“I’ll put you down if you promise to go.” He said while smiling. You sighed.

“Ugh fine I’ll go now put me down Atkins.” He threw you to your bed.

“Okay great I’ll go back to my house to get ready I’ll pick you up in the evening.” He said, you just agreed and smiled.

He soon left and you decided that you should shower, you already had your prom dress seeing as you were going to go to prom with Zach before the incident. It was a beautiful long dress, which was a nice shade of baby pink. People always told you that color went with your skin.

You showered got dressed and did your makeup. You actually looked decent and not dead. The doorbell rang and you walked down the stairs where your parents had already let Jeff in. Your mom gasped which made everyone follow her gaze. They all looked at you and Jeff was the first to speak up.

“You look so beautiful.” He said. Your parents agreed and your mom took out her camera. She took like 100 photos of you guys and you found it quite funny. Once she was done with her little photo shoot you and Jeff walked toward his car, you were about to open the door when he opened it first.

“I always open the door for you princess.” He said you got in and buckled up. The drive just consisted of you guys singing songs that were playing on the radio.

You guys arrived and you and Jeff linked elbows before walking in. You got some compliments from people telling you that you look beautiful, you thanked them and complimented them as well. Clay walked towards you guys and greeted you and Jeff.

“Y/N, you look absolutely stunning.” Clay said to you.

“Damn right she does!” Jeff said eying you up and down. You just giggled and thanked them. From the corner of your eye you can feel someone staring at you. You turned to see who it was and it was the boy who broke your heart into a million pieces. You still missed him but he broke you. But you wanted so badly to connect your lips to his.

“Wanna dance?” Jeff asked looking at you. You nodded and tried figuring out what song was playing. You smiled once you remembered it, Jeff would always sing this song to you. As you guys were dancing you could hear Jeff whispering the lyrics into your ear. (The song is You’re always loved by Golden)

“I will never hurt you, no.
I will never desert you.
There’s a lot of girls in this world
Though they have nothing on you.” He sang, his voice barely audible. You smiled, this song brought back so many memories.

“I will be there… I’ll be there…
When the words just come out wrong, And you’re sick of the love songs. I will be there… I’ll be there…
When your strength is now all gone, And you need someone to lean on. Even when you stop loving yourself, I’ll be there to help.
And when you’re giving up,
Just know you’re always loved.” These lyrics were so true, Jeff was always there for you when Zach did something wrong. Jeff would never hurt you, which is why you had kinda sorta started falling for him.

The song finished and you and Jeff just smiled at each other.

“Let’s go show Zach how much better you’re doing without him.” He smirked. You laughed and agreed. You two stayed on the dance floor laughing like crazy and dancing like weirdos. Soon you two calmed down and you were quiet thirsty so you went to go get a drink. Zach was there as well, you ignored the fact that he was there and grabbed your drinks.

“You look beautiful.” Zach said, gosh you missed him so much. You just wanted to kiss him but you had to play it off as if you were doing just fine so you just looked at him and rolled your eyes.

“Can we talk outside.” Zach said, he looked so sad. You agreed knowing you were going to regret this. You two got outside and he spoke first,

“You look stunning.” He said while looking at you.

“Thanks, it’s the best I’ve looked these past days. It was Jeff’s idea to go out so I had to look my best.” You said.

“So you’re dating him now?” He asked, sadness in his voice.

“No he’s still my best friend.” You said, although you had started getting feelings for him, but you still had feeling for Zach. Zach’s eyes filled with hope.

“So what did you want to talk about?” You asked, it felt awkward and maybe Jeff was looking for you back inside.

“Can you give me a second chance?” Zach asked.

I feel like doing a part two but idk if people even liked this. If you did make sure to let me know if you want a part two and if you want her to say yes or no to Zach!

Avengers x Reader: Storm

(Author’s Note: Heyo, Rainy here!  Just a little something I wanted to post in between requests.  I was feeling kind of lonely last night and came up with this idea just because.  Just some silly fluff to cheer you up if you need it!   Also, gif is not mine. Credit to original owner!)

   It was an ordinary day in Avengers Tower.  No villains.  No evil plots or schemes to sabotage.  It seemed that the crappy weather had taken care of that.  Gray clouds seemed to cover the entire city of New York, and what little patches of sky were visible were dark as well.  Raindrops covered the windows and tap-tapped on the roof.

   Steve and Bucky sat on either end of the leather couch in the hangout at the top floor of Avengers Tower.  You stretched out across them, head resting on Bucky’s lap and legs dangling across Steve’s.  Both soldiers watched rather boredly as you flipped through the TV channels, one arm draped across your forehead dramatically.  It was a miserable day, and what better way to be bored than with your friends?

   Footsteps echoed on the smooth floor, signaling Tony Stark’s entrance.  The eccentric billionaire donned a t-shirt and pair of ripped jeans instead of a suit, which meant he had been busy working in the garage on his Iron Man tech.  He paced over to the bar to pour himself a quick glass of water, most likely parched from his work.  He gulped the clear liquid down, pausing to stare at the three of you in between gulps.  You, Bucky, and Steve stared back at him until, finally, he set the glass down and spoke.

   “Yeesh, what’s going on in here?  You all look miserable.”

   “Thanks. It’s really nice to see you too,” you quipped, giving him a look.

   “Yeah, I could tell by your faces when I walked in the room.  They just lit up.”  His retort earned a snort from each of you, and he stuffed his hands in his pockets, sparing a glance out the window.  “Weather’s got you down?”

   “I had plans to go out for a jog,” Steve explained, resting his chin on the palm of his hand.

   “And I wanted to visit the store.  We’re out of plums,” Bucky grumbled, arms folded.

   “Not to mention I was going to head down to Central Park for a relaxing afternoon out,” you added.  “Basically, the rain messed up all our plans.”

   “So we’re just here being bored together,” Bucky finished, eyes fixed on the TV screen which had gone static.

   Tony rolled his eyes unsympathetically, walking to stand in front of the TV screen.  “Okay, first of all, Steve, there is a very expensive workout room that I had built into the basement of the Tower, complete with a running track.”

   “It’s not really the same, you know?” Steve shrugged.  “I like being out in the morning air and seeing the sun come up.”

   Tony gave him a look, but moved on.  “And Bucky, are you really going to let rain come between you and your plums?  Man up, put on a trench coat, and go out.”

   “No.”

   Lastly, Tony’s gaze rested on you.  “_______, you do realize this is Avengers Tower.  We have an indoor pool, food, a library, food.  That sounds like a pretty relaxing afternoon to me.”

   “I’ve done all that stuff already,” you stretched your arms out and yawned.

   “Whatever.  It’s not like I invested a whole lot of money in-”  The pounding of rain on the windows increased until it nearly drowned out his voice.  A deafening boom of thunder sounded, and lightning flashed.

   “Wow.  That doesn’t sound too good,” you mused.  “We should turn the lights off.”

   Tony looked at you as if you had suggested everyone dress up as clowns and go running through the streets of New York..  “Why?”

   “To watch the storm.  I like feeling all safe and cozy inside while that craziness is happening outside.”

   “Me too,” Steve agreed.  “That’s a good idea.  Let’s do it.”

   Even Bucky’s usual scowl was replaced by a smile at the idea.  “I like the sound of that.”

   That was yet another reason why you got along with them so well.  Tony and the others were so reliant on technology, that they sometimes forgot to sit back and enjoy the simpler things in life.  Steve and Bucky enjoyed technology and its benefits, but like you, they were a bit old-fashioned and liked to step away and take time to appreciate other things.

   “Come on, Stark.  There’s more to life than heated pools and tinkering with robots,” Steve went on.

   “Even most of your library is digital,” you pointed out.

   “Yeah, pfft, electricity.  Who needs that?” Tony joked, waving his hand dismissively.  “Excuse me for taking advantage of modern conveniences.  Sorry I’m not a tree-hugging, bird-watching nymph like all of you.”

   Bucky snorted, and you laughed.  You sat up and went around the room, shutting off lights along the way.  Steve jumped to his feet and took care of the last set of lights before the two of you rejoined Bucky on the couch, you snuggled in between them.  The room was very dark, save for the dim light from the gray sky that seeped in through the windows.

   “Come sit,” you motioned for Tony to take a seat.  You could see his outline hesitate before shrugging and walking over to sit down on Bucky’s other side.  “There.  Isn’t this nice?”

   Thunder continued to boom, lightning flashed, and the rain thrummed against the windows harshly.  It might be a scary thing to witness, but snuggled in between two very good friends that you trusted, you felt safe and warm.

   “You know,” Tony broke the silence in the conversation.  “This is actually really nice.”

   “Yep,” you agreed with a nod.  “But something’s missing…”

   “We need a fort,” Steve chuckled.

   “Exactly.  See, this is why we’re friends.”  You jumped up and hurried out of the room before anyone could protest.  “Be right back!  I’m just going to grab some materials!”  You headed straight for the nearest closet full of sheets, towels, extra pillows, etc…And started gathering everything you could carry.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
   “I have to admit, when you mentioned a fort, I thought this would be stupid,” Tony confessed.  “But this…This right here is awesome.”
   “It’s perfect,” you agreed, tossing a couple of flashlights inside.
   Bucky was making the finishing touches, setting down a stack of books to hold a sheet in place.  Even you hadn’t expected it to turn out so cool.  It really was an impressive fort.
   “We good?” Steve asked.
   “Yeah, this should hold up just fine,” Bucky replied.  You dropped to your hands and knees and crawled in to bury yourself in the pile of blankets and pillows.  Bucky ducked in, chuckling as you rolled yourself up like a burrito.
    “Steve! Tony!  Come on in!” you called.
   Steve crawled in, following by Tony fumbling his way in.  Both of them found their own blankets and pillows and got comfortable.  The four of you turned your attention to the little window the group made so you could see the storm.  A loud boom of thunder sounded, and you rolled over to snuggle against Bucky’s side.
  “Comfortable?” he asked, unable to hide a small smile.
   You grinned up at him.  “Very”
   Tony shifted so that he was lying obnoxiously across your stomach.  “Me too.”
  “Dork.” You ruffled his hair.
   “Hey, not cool.”
   “Oh my gosh!” a new, but familiar, voice exclaimed from somewhere outside the fort.  “Is that a fort?”
   “Clint, care to join us?” Steve called.
  “Heck yeah!”  He bounded over to scrambled inside.  A few of you had to move over to make room.  “Wow, this is so cool.  You guys watching the storm?”
   “Yep, it’s actually more fun that I thought it would be,” Tony replied.
   “Nat would love this.”
   “Love what?”  The read-headed agent appeared at the entrance of the fort suddenly, making all of you jump in surprise.  Clint screamed.  “Calm down,” Natasha told him.  “It’s only me.”
   “And me.”
  “Bruce?” you questioned.  “Is that you?”
  “Oh gosh, we seriously are going to need more room,” Clint commented.  The next thing you knew, everyone was squeezed in beside each other in the fort.
   “This is ridiculous,” Natasha said, but you could see the smile on her face.
  “Rogers.  You wouldn’t mind getting your elbow out of my shoulder, would you?”
   “Well maybe your shoulder needs to get off my elbow, Tony.”
   Most of you were chuckling and playfully shoving each other.  Except Bruce, who was struggling with the fact he was in such a small space.  It was such a silly and fun time, a nice change from all the high-stress situations the lot of you were usually in.  Meanwhile, the storm went on outside.
  You thought it was unfortunate that the rest of the team couldn’t be there to enjoy it, but they had their own missions to deal with.  Your group spent the rest of the stormy evening talking and laughing over just about everything.  After the conversation died down, you all fell into a comfortable silence.  You were pretty sure you heard Tony snoring.  That guy almost never slept, so this was probably good for him. It was so calming that you felt your eyelids growing heavy.
   “Go ahead and sleep, doll,” Bucky told you quietly, patting your shoulder.
   “Yes.  Sleep.  Just please don’t snore.”
   “Shut up, Barton.”
Warning: Hoseok smut, violence
A/N: This scenario took me about three months to write, which you can probably guess by looking at the word count. For that reason it has a very special place in my heart, no matter how much effort it cost me to finish it. It turned out a lot darker than my other scenarios, and I tried my best to make this scenario more intellectual for that reason. I really hope the two main characters (you and Hoseok) turned out the way I wanted them to: like real people, with a story and an imperfect personality. -But, without any further ado, enjoy.
“Commander?”
You look up from your shaking hands at the boy sitting next to you. “What now?”
He stares at the graphite floor that shimmers in the dimmed light like the ocean, vibrating with every rock the vehicle hits. “Do you think there’s any chance we’ll succeed? An actual chance?”
You grunt. “I thought you were always so confident about our victory, Jungkook.” With your elbow, you strike his side, to which he responds by moving away from you. His dark eyes are hostile, which is so different from how they have been in times gone by. With a soft chuckle you remember his soft stuttering the first time you made this same move on him, the nervous look in his eyes like that of a deer in the headlights. Those days seem like they are miles away from where you’re standing now, on the edge of the horizon that is your memory.
We are too fragile just to guess
And I’ve been in this place before
A Summer in Paradise.
That’s what my mom told me it was.
I’m not sure if she actually meant it, or just said it to me to make me feel better about spending the summer in Riverdale with my dad.
I hadn’t been there or seen my dad in years, and I’d always been content with it, but I don’t think my mom was, because all of a sudden my mom thought it was a good idea that I bond with him before it’s too late.
I got out of the car, just a few days after school ended and we took the long drive up there. She didn’t want to even see his face, so she literally just left me with my suitcase on the curve and told me she’d see me in a few months.
And what a crazy few months those were.
“Not only are there no happy endings…There aren’t even any endings.”
Every time I read American Gods by Neil Gaiman, I find more things to adore about this novel. I read it this time while traveling across the United States, and I have to say, something about reading this book in transit just makes sense. It makes even more sense reading it while soaring over America itself, gazing down on fields and hills, a New Jersey import who lives in Chicago, went to LA a week or so ago, and just left Florida. There is something so intensely American about this novel, and it wows me every time. From the smaller mythic chapters telling folk tales and stories of the people who brought their gods to America, to the gods themselves and their characters, this novel always gets me. This was my third time reading this novel, and I’m going to dig deep to highlight new things that I had forgotten, so solid warning: Spoilers ahead.
I will never get over the way that Neil Gaiman melds together the idea of the gods and the land, and gives them both their own power and will. Something that wows me that I often forget about the standalone is now astoundingly diverse it is without being appropriative, and how Gaiman incorporates so many cultures, a diverse range of characters, as well as a huge amount of humor without it becoming problematic. I think this novel could be a guidebook for authors who want to know how to write diverse stories and mythos respectfully. I forgot about so many fantastic characters that Gaiman pours himself into, from Samantha Black Crow to side characters that brim with energy and character themselves, like Whiskey Jack’s son or Bilquis. I also never noticed before the two mentions of Mr. Nancy’s son that point to Anansi Boys. Not to mention the wealth of research and knowledge that goes into the bottomless well of background characters and visions leading up to the battle.
One thing I gained a new appreciation for in this novel was the character of Shadow. He is big, and not dumb, and I remembered all that, but what I forgot is how nice he is. Shadow’s such a cinnamon roll of a character, and I forget that. He stands up for a waitress and believes in the good of people. At the Lakeside library book sale, he tries to find the book that’s least likely to be purchased, so that he can help the library out by buying it. He performs coin tricks for children. He is obligated to hold Odin’s vigil, but he never questions whether he should also hold Mad Sweeney’s. As Laura speaks with the cutting, too-open words of the already-dead, Shadow still refuses to tell her about her appearance or to not hold her hand, because he doesn’t want to hurt her still. When Shadow picks up bodies with the coroners, he carries them always in his arms.
The scene between Shadow and Odin before his death is one of my absolute favorites (other favorite scenes include Samantha Black Crow’s protest kiss, the scene in which Shadow thinks snow into being, and Shadow’s long death scene). Odin recites to Shadow what he knows—the charms, in a long list. And it ends with that long scene where Shadow wonders what would have happened if he touched Odin’s hand, and wishes he had. And Odin’s twisting grift of the fiddle is so complicated and well done that even on the third re-read, I find myself forgetting about it until the moment Odin dies, and doubting myself on it until the moment Shadow says it out loud.
@neil-gaiman’s American Gods just gets better every time I read it, and I am cautiously thrilled and excited for the show coming out later this spring.
Harry Styles Vocal Health on SNL
Hello!  So first and foremost I wan to put out there how much I love Harry and his voice.  Dear god it’s SO COOL and unique.  I love how when he’s in good vocal health he has all these different textures to it- the gruffness of his chest voice, the purity of his falsetto, the power of his belt.  When the studio version of SOTT came out I couldn’t sing his praises enough.  His voice sounded SO HEALTHY.  He was making such good choices!!!  Everything was relaxed and well supported.  He let the song build naturally.  He MUST have gotten some solid vocal training over his break because that isn’t something that can just happen over night.  I was very impressed and very proud.  I was also a bit nervous to see if these changes would hold when he started performing live….and…..it looks like I had good reason to be nervous.
Here’s the thing. There are a few reasons I’m so hard on Harry in particular when it comes to poor technique. First, compared to the other guys, his technique is the only one that’s actually physically DAMAGING.  Could the other guys benefit from proper training?  Sure.  Of course.  Every singer can.  Even those who have been singing for years still should train on a regular basis.  But the other boys’ bad habits are just that- bad habits.  They aren’t going to do long term damage, not the way Harry’s are.    The second reason is BECAUSE I know he can do (AND HAS DONE!!!!!) so much better!!   I know he’s CAPABLE of so much more and so yeah, I’m hard on him because of that. And finally, I know exactly what he’s doing physically and exactly what’s going through his mind because I have the same exact bad habits and I can see him using the same exact thought process as to why he slips into these again.
Harry is the Ultimate Performer. He wants nothing more than to put on a good show for everyone, even if that means sacrificing his own vocal health.  Now, that’s isn’t a HUGE problem…until it KEEPS happening.  Which is what happened with OTRA.  And possibly might be happening now, although that remains to be seen.  One performance of one song slips into an entire show of this slips into two shows of this slips into the entire tour and wham, you’ve got nodes.  I think the biggest problem with Harry’s performance last night is he doesn’t trust the material or HIMSELF to sell it the way it is.  He feels he needs to overcompensate and big Big and Bold right from the start and that song is not built to be sung that way.  He started at a level that he couldn’t sustain throughout the entire thing and had nowhere to go.  That’s when he ran into trouble.
As soon as he opened his mouth, I knew it wasn’t going to go well.  Don’t get me wrong, he sounds fantastic in the beginning…but like I said, there was nothing for him to build upon because he already started it at too high a height. His voice sounded raspy to me too, raspier than usual.  That can be caused by a few things- he could have been dehydrated (you can’t sing right if you don’t pee white!), he could have been tired (we know he’s a morning person and that show is pretty late for him), he could have strained his voice at the concert the night before, he could have over rehearsed, he could have smoked a bit.  I don’t know what the cause was, but he didn’t start off the evening in the best vocal health, especially for a song that’s very difficult to sing.  I also think he KNEW that so again, he tried to overcompensate for that by pushing.
There is so much tension throughout his whole body, particular his shoulders on up.  I’m sure a lot of that is due to nerves.  I’ve said it many times before and I’ll say it again: the SNL stage is one of the hardest venues for artists to play.  There’s something particularly rough about it.  He’s also always had problems tensing up his face when he sings, but it what was particularly striking to me was that he did it during the falsetto parts.  That should have been EASY for him to sing.  That’s something light and relaxed.  Almost a break from the tension of the rest of the song…and yet he looks like he was in pain.  Which makes me wonder if he WAS in pain.  it’s hard to tell, but it almost seems like the second time he does it he pushes it more to a mix than a pure falsetto.
It’s notable to me how relaxed the second syllable of  “bullets” around 2:44-2:48 is compared to the rest.  THAT is what the whole thing should have sounded like.  it’s relaxed and he’s got a great vibratto on it that comes straight from the diaphragm there- compare that to how tight “bullets” are the second time he sings it in that phrase at 2:58ish-3:04.  Why did you change what you were doing, sir??? In fact, to me it seemed like he KNEW it sounded good the first time and did his cute li’l dance and then came back to it feeling like “yeah I got this…” and then tightened right back up again.  because he didn’t trust himself.
Thennnnnn the bridge happens.  And this is what i mean by he had nowhere to go.  THIS should have been his first belt it out moment.  but he pushed too hard too quickly and his voice just…wasn’t there.  It was tired.  The first scoop up to the first “we” was off key because of it and I think he knew it which made it even worse and MORE tense to the point where he just didn’t have the vocal agility to flip into his fasletto again for “learn”.  And then we’ve got the “it’s just what we know” which was just a poor choice.  I have a feeling he nailed that MULTIPLE times in rehearsals and mannnnn if he was in good vocal health how killer would that have sounded!??!!?  But instead, we got what’s called harmonic distortion which is SUPER VERY YIKESY AND A BIG SIGN OF HOLYSHITYOU’REDOINGDAMAGE (i sincerely hope he has an appointment with an ENT this week and gets scoped to check that out).   This was another instance of him trying to put on a great show and overcompensate for what he probably felt was lackluster vocals (which for the record WERE NOT THAT BAD.  I’m picking it apart because…well, it’s what I do.  and i don’t think I would have had too much of a problem if it weren’t for the super damaging choices he ended up making).
From there he’s thinking “Oh shit that was bad…I REALLY fucked up…better step up my game and make the end better!” and once again tries to overcompensate and push a voice that’s already been pushed to the brink.  there just wasn’t more in there for it to give.  He couldn’t sustain it.  He had already given everything that there was go to give.
When it comes to ESNY, it was a much better performance.  I think it’s partially due to the fact that it’s an easier song to sing and partially due to the fact that he was playing guitar so he wasn’t as much in his head (Side note: CAN YOU BELIEVE HE FINALLY BLESSED US WITH HIS GUITAR SKILLS?????).  His belty part towards the end wasn’t as good as it could have been, but I think that’s just due to the fact that his voice was kinda shot and that’s the best it was going to be.  It wasn’t TERRIBLE and obviously it could have been better, but I am curious to hear the studio version to see if there’s more belting that he just wasn’t comfortable with last night.  I could have done without the facial affectations because it just adds more tension and tension is bad, kiddos  But I think it’s a stylistic choice and I’m trying to pick my battles here.  Additionally, as we’ve seen in gif form his li’l neck vein was popping out so yeah he was tensing up pretty good there…but again, it wasn’t as terrible as it could have been since the song itself isn’t as taxing vocally.
All in all, the performances were great, especially if you’re not as picky as I am. I know this was his first time singing live in well over a year and SNL is high stress and it’s his first time out there ALONE.  I’m curious to see what happens on Graham Norton and if he improves his technique. I’m also really curious to see how he’ll be on tour as well. I do wonder if he’ll lower the key of SOTT so it’s not as taxing.  No one would really notice and it would make things a little easier on him. It’s just frustrating because I know he has it in him to do it well.  We’ve HEARD him do it well.  But he just doesn’t trust himself enough to do that and that kind of breaks my heart a little.  Thankfully, he’s young and has time to learn.  He can still break these habits and make new, healthier ones and learn to trust himself more.
BUDDY.  YOU GOT THIS.  YOU HAVE AN AMAZING VOICE.  YOU ARE A FANTASTIC SONGWRITER.  YOU HAVE GREAT TECHNIQUE WHEN YOU PUT YOUR MIND TO IT.  YOU ARE A KILLER SHOWMAN WITH A TON OF CHARISMA.  PLEASE TRUST THESE THINGS AND STOP PUSHING YOURSELF BECAUSE I DON’T WANT TO SEE YOU DAMAGE ANYTHING.
Love,
Juvia isn’t a stalker
This is an old, very frustrating argument for Gruvia fans that shouldn’t even exist anymore. This post also shouldn’t exist because I am refuting something Juvia didn’t actually do, but this is what it’s come down to, sadly. The bottom line is that Juvia can not redeem herself for an issue that Mashima-sensei, the author, doesn’t believe exists (aka the non-existent stalking).
I. The amount of times Juvia watched Gray and why
Juvia did not stalk Gray EVER, but she did hang in the background. He and the guild had been the enemy. If she had walked right up to Gray and his friends, there would have been a backlash. It’s natural that she was afraid because of the damage she helped inflict. Despite this, she formed an affinity to Gray and Fairy Tail which she carefully approached to the best of her ability.
As it also shows in her memories, Juvia had a well-established history of being shunned because of her rain which further led to her tentative approach. Additionally, given the rejection and shunning of the past, Juvia lacked the developmental opportunity to refine social engagement. There was no malicious intent in her actions. She was afraid of being rejected again, so she kept her distance.
And in fact, Juvia and Gajeel’s presence in Fairy Tail DID cause a backlash. Laxus and the Raijinshuu did get angry when they found out two former Phantom Lord members who had attacked the guild were allowed to join.
Yet, both Juvia and Gajeel made up for their former transgressions already against the specific members they had targeted by protecting them. Juvia protected Gray from Simon, and Gajeel protected Levy from Laxus. That was supposed to be their redemption…IT WAS THEIR REDEMPTION. As stated in the first paragraph, in bold this time: Juvia can not redeem herself for an issue that Mashima-sensei, the author, doesn’t believe exists (aka the non-existent stalking).
Ultimately, Juvia did approach Gray when he was by himself to ask what he thought about her joining Fairy Tail.  This was their first direct meeting after they met in Chapter 56. Indirect encounters include chapter 67 where she observed from afar and delivered a bento and chapter 75 where we see her watching Gray and the rest of team Natsu at the resort.
It was at this point that Juvia approached Gray properly when she finally caught him alone, and they went to get drinks together. It’s supported by the manga that Juvia joining Fairy Tail would have caused a backlash, as even Gray was wary of her joining because of the things that they did, but he personally did not mind her joining.  Juvia then spent the rest of the arc openly helping Gray and his friends in the Tower Of Heaven.
At the end of the arc, when Erza asked after Juvia, Gray was the one who knew her name, and where she had gone. Once team Natsu returned to FT, Juvia became a member, and Gray was quite happy about it. After chapter 75 Juvia has never in the manga followed Gray without his knowledge again until chapter 416, where she came to apologize for what happened to Gray’s father.
When Gray seemed dismayed that Juvia had followed him to his parents grave, she immediately apologized
In fact, Juvia has apologized a few times within the series when she thought she upset Gray, including in 413 Days when she apologized for fearing that she ruined Gray’s day of mourning. But, in fact, Gray ended up also apologizing to her, because he thought it was his fault. He profusely apologized to her in chapter 416 as well while sobbing in her arms.
II. Gray’s feelings
If Gray was so uncomfortable and disliked Juvia’s presence, the above scene would not have happened. He appreciates and is grateful for Juvia always being next to him, which by default completely annihilates the claim that he is disgusted by her. This is obvious because we see the change in their relationship throughout the course of the manga, on panel. I repeat, Gray likes the fact that Juvia is always by his side and wants her there.
Furthermore, Juvia’s comedic advances and Gray’s reactions (which have actually become softer/changed) are exaggerated on purpose. Japanese love this type of humor use in their mangas. It’s meant to be lighthearted, not give off an awful message regarding a pairing. As with many shounen, panel space is often limited for character interactions, so “dramatic” presentations are necessary for conveying points. Mashima-sensei has only ever portrayed Juvia’s love as a positive thing for both characters. Her love for Gray has saved not just Gray’s life, but also the lives of others on multiple occasions.
While it’s true Mashima-sensei loves using Juvia for comic relief from time to time, it’s important to not let the jokes outweigh the serious moments. In reality, we are not supposed to put so much stock into comedy. Adding to the fact that Juvia’s fight with Meredy proved her love for Gray to be genuine, there’s another factor some people seem to miss.
In the final chapter of the Tartarus arc, Juvia was about to give up on her love for Gray because she believed she did not have the right to love him anymore. She truly thought it was for his sake, and was prepared to be hated by Gray forever. An obsessive person or crazy stalker would never do this. But Juvia did, expecting this would ruin any chance she had with Gray, and was positive she would be loathed. However she knew confessing what she did was the right thing to do and came clean. Here, Mashima-sensei is showing the difference between an unhealthy obsessed individual and someone who’s love is selfless as they put the other person’s feelings above their own. Above all, Gray didn’t let Juvia give up on him. He embraced her, thanked her, and cried in her arms.
Chapter 499 speaks for itself, so I really don’t see the need to touch upon it other than the fact that the Japanese raw text confirms that Gray does see Juvia as more than a friend, aka, a love interest. As if his actions in the chapter and prior to weren’t enough. Double suicide in Japan is one of the most romantic acts of love based on samurai history.
III. The definition of a stalker
  • a person who harasses or persecutes someone with unwanted and obsessive attention.
  • a person who harasses another person, as a former lover, a famous person, etc., in an aggressive, often threatening and illegal manner.
Neither of the above definitions describes Juvia’s character. Juvia would be the last person in the world to harass or threaten Gray in any way. The two times she watched him were harmless and there were justified reasons behind them. Back to the definition; Juvia doesn’t need to do any of these things, because she is Gray’s friend, and at this point, so much more than that. She’s a partner, they go on missions together, socialize together, and have even lived together.
Real cases for stalking often involve the stalker having control over their victim, sometimes employing fear in a desperate attempt to maintain control, which Juvia has NEVER done. Admiring someone from afar is not the same as stalking them, especially when you don’t have the courage to talk to them. That’s why Juvia quickly threw the bento in Gray’s hands without trying to be noticed. She wanted to do nice things for him, but couldn’t do them directly out of nervousness. That’s not what stalkers do. And of course, as stated above, Juvia was about to give up on Gray. Stalkers aren’t willing to give up their ties with the person.
Juvia does not need to “stalk” Gray. She stands proudly by his side with no reluctance from him.
And even more importantly Gray has never expressed any adversity to Juvia’s presence. If anything, he has expressed the opposite. Gray of his own accord hangs around her. And Gray had mentioned once in 338 that he would say no to the things he dislikes from then on. Yet he had never said no before, nor after that statement. In fact, he contradicted his own statement later on by eating the bread Juvia offered him, and holding her hand in comfort during the Tartarus arc.
We also have to keep in mind Gray falls under the tsundere character trope, which means his actions often contradict his words, and as stated above, his adverse reactions are often played off comedically, because he is not being honest about his actual feelings. Juvia’s earnest feelings towards Gray usually cause the cool and collected character to lose his composure. That’s the joke.
IV. Conclusion
Juvia is often labeled a stalker while we look past Gajeel crucifying Levy or Jellal trying to murder Erza. All of these things occurred at the beginning, but have ceased to be current habits. That’s character development. It’s one thing to not like a ship because of the dynamic. But it’s a double standard to hail the development of one ship and ignore another. People simply cannot move passed Juvia’s first impression, and that is sad.
Every pairing has its shtick, such as Natsu touching Lucy inappropriately and breaking into her house, and Levy hitting Gajeel often. Humor is completely subjective, that’s true, however it’s obvious what Mashima-sensei intends to fall under the umbrella of humor, and that absolutely includes Juvia’s antics and Gray’s reactions to them. Saying they aren’t meant to be funny is just being purposely oblivious and contrary. You don’t have to think it’s funny to know it’s meant as a joke. Gruvia gets condemned by the fandom the most when it comes to their particular aspect of humor, and that is unfair.
This is a fictional world, they are fictional characters, and they do not have to meet real life standards. Many of the characters within Fairy Tail have quirks or perform actions that are not acceptable in reality. Fairy Tail itself is a fantasy manga. The world and the characters are exaggerated for the purpose of drama and comedy. This fantasy world is also based on Japanese humor and storytelling conventions, and ignoring this fact can lead to misunderstanding characters.
Juvia has not watched Gray from a distance without his knowledge since before she joined Fairy Tail. That was at least 8-9 years ago in both our timeline and the manga time line (counting the 7 year time skip). No one in the Fairy Tail universe, nor Mashima-sensei, seem to think Juvia’s actions from her introduction need to be addressed or redeemed, because it is a non-issue that only certain parts of the fandom can’t let go of. She will not vocally apologize for a problem that doesn’t exist.
Gray, especially, has gone so far passed his initial relationship and dynamic with Juvia. It’s sad that so many fans are concerned on Gray’s behalf, but never truly take Gray’s actual feelings or words into consideration. He cares for Juvia, he almost definitely loves Juvia romantically, and he is grateful she is by his side. He’s willing to go above and beyond, including sacrificing his life for her (twice) just to ensure her safety. Those are not the feelings of someone who is a victim of stalking.
Ruin my chances at my dream job, will you? Please, let me return the favor.
(long story. tl;dr at the end)
I am a nurse. When I was in nursing school, I loved my rotation through ICU and wanted nothing more than to be an ICU nurse, because I eventually wanted to become a nurse anesthetist (ICU experience is required for anesthesia school). My first job after graduation was not in ICU, but after 10 months as a nurse, I was offered a position in a Multi-system ICU. It was a training program for new nurses and I was told I would get 16 weeks of training. Fantastic! I was so excited! Then right before I started, I was told, oops, no, you actually only get 6 weeks of training. Um, okay, kind of concerned that that’s not enough time, but I’m going to try my best. I was somewhat apprehensive, but still excited. Until I met my preceptor.
This girl was undoubtedly intelligent and knew her job, but she was so mean to me that I was regularly having near-panic attacks in the few weeks I worked there. She would send huge emails to the educator about how much I sucked, and would ream me out in front of other staff and patients (one time one of the other nurses had to intervene). The other girl who started the program at the same time as me even said how awful my preceptor was being to me. She was also arrogant as fuck, and always bragged about shit, like how her fiancé (who was a practicing nurse anesthetist and made a lot of money) paid all this money for her engagement ring, and paid all this money for his surprise proposal, and how once they were married and had kids if she wanted a thousand dollar baby stroller, that’s what he was going to buy her, and how her wedding was going to be so big and fancy and expensive and perfect. And she was one of those people who was “super Christian,” and was fake nice and passive aggressive when talking to you that it starts to make you wonder if you’re crazy for seeing the vile in them. I hated her with the fire of a thousand burning suns.
Just stay with me: marichat?
Marinette huddled under her blanket, her hands clutched around a mug of steaming tea to help fight off the cold.
She didn’t want to go inside.
She had thought she had seen the worst of it. She had faced down so many akumas. She had fought against her best friend with barely a flinch of hesitation, knowing that she could do what needed to be done and that everything would be alright. She thought there was nothing she couldn’t handle.
She had never thought she might have to fight her own mother.
Marinette huddled further into the corner of her terrace.
They had been victorious of course. Cleansing the akuma and restoring the city to rights. But while the superficial damage may have been repaired, the emotional damage was taking a toll that Marinette had never realized was possible until it struck at the heart of her own family.
The attack last night had been all over the news. They always were. The first time the footage aired that morning Marinette had watched in horror as her usually indomitable mother had burst into tear, shutting herself in the bedroom and leaving a silent Tom and Marinette to finish the morning preparation. The normally bustling bakery had been a ghost town, and even though Marinette was off from school her father had told her there was little she could help with and to go enjoy her day off since there wasn’t much to be done.
Alya had insisted that this was normal and would die down in a day or two, sending Marinette several links to articles and interviews she had done on the subject. It didn’t do much to lift Marinette’s spirits, but she couldn’t help but feel an awed sense of pride at the incredible dedication her friend had towards her site.
Sabine had of course eventually recovered after a few hours. Coming down and joining Tom in the empty shop, but in spite of her attempts to act as though everything was fine, the general atmosphere was sullen. Tom had ultimately retreated to the kitchen to take his frustrations out on a new bread recipe he had wanted to try, and Marinette had retreated to her balcony.
She felt like a failure.
She kept seeing the image of her mother- twisted and transformed into one of Hawkmoths minions, glaring at her lunging forward to rob her of her Miraculous.
It had been by far one of her worst fights. Her mind had been unable to focus, instead racing with questions and wondering if she could have stopped this.
Thank God for Chat. He had immediately registered her distress and more than picked up the slack, taking the lead for a change. He had forsaken his habitual good humored flirting and managed the battle with a quiet, efficient intensity that she would not have expected from her usually exuberant partner.
It had been over in a matter of minutes, one of their shorter battles if she was being honest. But it had somehow felt like an eternity, and she had barely been able to get through the traditional fist bump before fleeing the scene so that no one would see her burst into tears.
Now here she was, huddled helplessly against the wind, her face stained with tears that had been falling on and off for the last few hours, ashamed to go inside.
She heard the sound of footfalls on the roof and looked up expecting to see her father. Instead she was met with the concerned green eyes of her partner.
“Chat… what are you doing here?” she asked fighting the urge to attempt to straighten up her appearance.
“I like to check up on the victims after the attacks,” he said collapsing his baton and stowing it behind his back.
“I wasn’t the victim.”
“I know. I already spoke to your mother down in the bakery.”
“Oh,” Marinette said, surprised, “How…” she trailed off.
“She’ll be ok,” Chat said coming to sit down beside her. “She was blaming herself for something she had no control over.” He gave Marinette an assessing glance. “Seems to be a trait with the Cheng women I see.”
She laughed softly then scooted closer and dropped her head against his shoulder. Too tired and too heartsick to care that she was untransformed and therefore shouldn’t be showing this level of familiarity.
Chat’s eyes widened slightly in surprise but he made no effort to stop her, only adjusting slightly so they fit together in a more comfortable angle.
“I didn’t know you did this,” she said quietly.
“Did what?”
“Visited with the victims. It’s very kind of you.”
“No one should have to go through something like this alone,” he said, “pain is worse if you don’t talk to anyone about it. It can change you, leave you broken. Even hurt the people around you.”
“You sound like you have some experience on the subject.”
“I might.”
She nodded slightly and took a small sip of her tea. “Do you talk to all of the victims?” she asked curiously.
“No, not all of them. Some of them don’t need it, I’ll go to check in on them and they will already be on the road to recovery. Your friend Alya for example. She had her own ways of coping.”
“You should have talked to her anyways. You know she would have adored getting a personal visit from Chat Noir.”
“You know in retrospect you are right,” he said with a small smile. “Next time I’m on patrol I’ll make a point of letting her catch me for an interview. Unless you want to make my life easier and just help with a set up?”
“She’s coming over for a sleepover tomorrow night,” Marinette said feeling warmer for the first time all day.
“I’ll be sure to coincidentally land on your balcony during my rounds. Say around 9:00?”
Marinette smiled.
“So, who was the most difficult person for you to talk to?” she asked.
Chat thought for a moment, his brow furrowing in concentration.
“Probably the little girl, the one who stole all your dolls, remember?”
“You talked to Manon?”
“Yeah, that one was rough. Not gonna lie I went home that night and put together a Hawkmoth dart board. Might have gotten a little carried away. Even stabbed the thing with a fencing sword if you can believe it.”
Marinette laughed, pressing closer against her partner and he wrapped an arm around her.
“That’s actually kind of fantastic,” she said, “Do you still have it?”
“Nah, my father made me take it down. I think it freaked him out that I was violently lashing out what most of Paris thinks of as some unknown mystical super being.”
“What do you think of him as?”
“Exactly what he is- some guy in a suit who thinks its ok to terrorize innocent people for his own selfish gain. He might have powers but he’s just an ordinary man.”
“Like you are?” she said, looking up at him and for the first time desperately wishing she could know the boy behind the mask.
“Exactly.”
They sat in silence for a few minutes, Marinette sipping on her tea without really tasting it and Chat rubbing his hand idly up and down her arm over the blanket.
“Why did you come to talk to me?” Marinette asked at last.
“Because you looked like you needed a friend,” he replied.
“I do,” she admitted, hating the pricking of tears she could feel returning to her eyes, “I really do.”
“Is there anything I can do for you princess?” he asked tenderly, wrapping his other arm around her and pulling her in close.
“Just stay with me.”
Hi! I love your blog so much! If it's not too much trouble, could I request RFA (+ Saeran if possible?) after the RFA party? I'm dying for fluff ;0;
Hope this helps your fluff craving~ Enjoy!
Zen:
  • He wanted to take you away from the press and reporters
  • So, Zen takes you downtown to a secluded cafe
  • But instead of sitting down to drink the coffee, he takes you around the little town
  • You two walk into little shops and see all the items
  • He takes you to a bridge nearby to see the cityscape
  • You two spend most of the time talking and right before you’re about to leave, he pulls out on of those locks
  • You write both of your name in sharpies and attach it to the bridge
  • He brings you back to his place and you order some take out
  • You’re really tired so you crash on the couch
  • He slides next to you and buries his face in your shoulder
  • You’re running your fingers through his hair and next thing you know, you had both fallen asleep
  • You almost missed the food delivery
  • Despite being exhausted, you two talk late into the night until you fall asleep on the couch again
  • He just carries you gently into the guest room before returning to his own
Yoosung:
  • He wasn’t exactly supposed to be at the party for that long
  • So, once it was over, you and the rest of the members forced him to go back to the hospital to finish his treatment
  • He only has to stay until evening
  • You decided to stay with him the rest of the day
  • He doesn’t have any video games, so you go down to the gift shop and get a pack of cards and a few boardgames
  • You’re mostly talking while playing, and it’s really nice
  • He keeps commenting on all your little habits and quirks, since this is the first day he’s actually seen you
  • When he’s finally discharged, you drive him home and he invites you inside for some coffee
  • Even though you insist he needs rest, you eventually give in
  • As soon as you walk in, it smells like lemon cleaner and vanilla candles, which is so like him
  • He shows you around his place and you find it cute when he gets flustered if you point out one of his collectibles or cute knick knacks
  • Despite his eye, he makes you a cup of coffee and you two talk in the kitchen
  • You can’t stay late and he needs rest, so you eventually have to call it a night
  • But he walks you to his car and gives you a few more soft kisses
  • The sweet taste of coffee accompanies your smile all the way back to your apartment that night
Jaehee:
  • The party was a success and the buzz of all the people made you giddy
  • And besides that, the fact that you and Jaehee were going to be partners for the cafe was beyond exciting
  • Seeing you so ecstatic, Jaehee surprised you by taking you to the cafe she bought right after the party
  • Your enthusiasm was contagious and you two spent your time looking at the empty spot, imagining how you would redecorate the place
  • Afterwards, you drag her to a home improvement store so you can look at paint and color schemes
  • You get a bunch of samples to look at later
  • By the time you’re done there, your extra energy is worn out and Jaehee is also crashing from the day’s activities
  • You invite her back to the apartment since it’s closer than her place
  • You guys pick up some food on the way back and eat up a storm
  • You’re talking about so many things, sometimes funny and silly moments of your favorite singers and other times very deep and serious conversations about your lives and future
  • In the end, you lose track of time and it’s already past midnight
  • Trying to get Jaehee a little more out of her shell, you tell her just to stay the night
  • She’s hesitant at first, but she’s so comfortable with you now she agrees
  • You bring out extra pillows and blankets and you two continue your conversation over a DVD of Zen’s latest musical
  • Eventually, you get tuckered out and you both fall asleep on the couch
Jumin:
  • The last eleven days had been a rollercoaster of events with the party and with Jumin sorting out his own emotions
  • So, Jumin hoped to take you on a calmer outing after the party
  • At first, he suggested a high end fancy restaurant, but you asked if he wanted to take a stroll in the park first
  • You both change into more comfortable clothes
  • Turns out Jumin has three outfits that aren’t part of a suit
  • He’s a bit stiff at first, since he’s not used to just walking and talking casually
  • But then you slip your hand in his and you feel him relax
  • He’s intrigued by the small vendors selling ice cream or cotton candy
  • He buys you both some shaved ice and you find a quiet bench
  • He takes some blurry photos of you and the lake and even some of the ducks
  • Once dinner rolls around, he gets his wish and takes you to a nice restaurant
  • You can’t help but love the contrast between the two outings, but somehow it brings out the best of Jumin
  • After the meal, he takes you onto a secluded balcony on the top floor of the restaurant
  • He takes your hands and thanks you for everything in the past few days
  • You say a few loving words of your own
  • For the first time, everything is slow and beautiful and you take in every second
  • At the end of the night, he accompanies you as far as he can to return you safely to the apartment
  • And as you lay down in bed that night, you can’t help but feel a shift in your life for the better
Seven:
  • You two didn’t get to go to the first RFA party, so the second one is very exciting for you both
  • But afterwards, you were both a little drained from all the guests and interactions
  • So, he takes you to a nice diner to get some milkshakes and discuss what happened
  • You both exchange stories of awkward moments or funny incidents during the party until you’re laughing so hard your sides hurt
  • Feeling a bit more energized, you both want to do something else before you head home
  • Impromptu trip to the nearest planetarium it is
  • It’s actually rather peaceful and sentimental for you both since it’s something you two talked about doing the first time you met
  • Since it’s still the middle of the day, there aren’t a lot of people there
  • You and Seven get to share some private moments where you’re just holding hands or resting your head on his shoulder as the show plays
  • When it comes to the other displays, you two start taking stupid pictures next to them and adding funny captions and filters on Clapchat
  • You stay there longer than necessary
  • Mostly because you both have a blast in the gift shop looking and hundreds of quirky space themed things before choosing one thing to buy
  • Around dinner, you two head to his place since you thought it might be nice to cook a meal and share it with Saeran as well
  • Only, you made the mistake of laying on his couch for a few minutes to scroll through your phone after such a long trip…and Seven made the mistake of joining you
  • Saeran is waking you both up a few hours later with some take out he ordered already waiting in the kitchen
Saeran:
  • He didn’t feel comfortable coming to an RFA party until it was about the third one you planned
  • Everything was really great, and he even talked to a few guests
  • But the crowd got overwhelming and you found him in the hallway by the time the party was over
  • You could tell he was drained so you drag him to the ice cream shop
  • He was expecting to stay there and eat it, but instead you take his hand and start walking
  • He thinks you have a plan, but halfway through town and realizes you don’t
  • So he just goes along with you as you grab his hand and swing it back and forth
  • He surprises you when he pulls you into a bus that travels to the town over
Virginity
Requested - Hi! Could you write something with Aaliyah and Y/N. Like they get along pretty well and like Aaliyah asks Y/N about losing Virginity (Y/N lost it very soon) or something like that. Thanks!
Requested - Heyy, I have an imagine request 💕 so, you’re visiting Shawn in Canada and he’s busy, so you end up spending time with Aaliyah (like take her shopping or out for milkshakes or something) and Shawn finds out and he thinks it’s really sweet and fluff fluff fluff
Your name: submit What is this?
~~~

“Baby, I’m so sorry,” Shawn says for what seems like the hundredth time as he glances over at you briefly before refocusing his eyes on the road in front of him.

“Don’t be.” You respond with a cheeky smile. “I get to drive your jeep and hang out with your sister, so it’s a win-win for me.”

“Have I told you lately that you’re the best?” He asks.

“Maybe once or twice,” you tease, a smile on your face as you genuinely appreciate this time you’re getting to spend with your boyfriend, even if it isn’t a lot. You came to Canada to visit him, but he ended up having to rehearse at the last minute, which kind of ruined your original plans for the afternoon.

The drive to his rehearsal space goes by far too quickly, and before you know it you’re driving his jeep out of the parking lot on your way to pick up Aaliyah from school. Since Shawn ended up being busy, you offered to pick up his sister from school and take her to the mall. You’ve grown really close to Aaliyah over the past year that you’ve been dating Shawn, and since you don’t have a younger sister, you take full advantage of getting to spend time with Aaliyah and play an older sister role in her life.

Looks like lightning

A giant alien spaceship castle you would assume have more then enough bathrooms. However despite the size there were only four in the whole castle one in each wing. Apparently Altean’s didn’t need to go as often as humans did so they never bothered to fit every area with a bathroom.
Of course Allura had her own personal bathroom in her chambers and Corran used the one in the east side of the castle leaving the five Paladins to share the one closest to their collective rooms.
Shiro at first attempted to create a time chart so that everyone would have time to get ready in the morning and get in a shower before bed.
However he quickly learnt that asking a group of teenagers not to take hours in the bathroom was like expecting a pig to sprout wings and fight the Glara.
Keith spends the least time in the morning, only bothering to brush his teeth before going out to train, it’s the evenings that he takes his time, spending almost an hour in the shower letting the warm water work its magic on his sore aching muscles.
Hunk takes his time whenever he uses the bathroom. Often singing or having imaginary arguments with himself.
Pidge spends hours in there. Often taking their computer in with them and ends up losing themselves so completely in their work that they could leave for five minutes to use the toilet and not be seen until dinner.
However out of everyone Lance is by far the worst. He spends hours in there every morning and evening, he will often run out during training just to look in the mirror. Because of this more then a few times a fellow Paladin has been forced to run across the castle in search of another bathroom.
After yet another close call Pidge had enough.
“He’s just so vain!” They snapped walking into the common area where Keith was sat sharpening his knife.
“I know but there’s not much we can do about it” he shrugged not even bothering to look up as the green paladin flopped down on the couch next to him.
“We could complain to Allura or maybe Shiro?” They offered voice slightly muffled by having their face buried in the cushions.
“Wouldn’t work. They already know and the worst that would happen to him is get a lecture and maybe being out of cleaning duty, it wouldn’t change anything. As long as he’s got all his cleaning products he’s going to continue to hogging the bathroom.” Keith patted Pidge on the head when they let out a frustrated groan.
Suddenly they sat bolt upright making Keith pull his hand away in surprise.
“But what if he didn’t?”
“Didn’t what?” Keith questioned a little unnerved by the Cheshire Cat like grin that spread across the smaller Paladins face.
“What if Lance didn’t have his products? What if someone were to hide them to teach him not to just leave his stuff lying around in the bathroom like he owned the place?”
A similar grim spread across Keith’s face as he realised what exactly Pidge was suggesting.
“I think that just might teach him a lesson.”
———————————–
When Lance rolled out of bed that morning like every morning he walked down the hall to the bathroom so he could wash off his face mask and get ready for the day.
However when he had washed the white mask off and reached for his makeup bag only to find it missing he knew something was very wrong. He checked again in case he had put it somewhere else the night before but found nothing.
At this point he began to panic falling to his knees as he tore apart the bathroom desperately searching for his bag as his breaths came shorter and faster.
He had to find his bag.
He couldn’t let the others see him without his makeup.
———————————–
Unlike Pidge, Keith couldn’t wait to see Lance get his comeuppance, so when he heard Lance go to the bathroom that morning Keith had followed close behind listening just out side of the door waiting for the moment of realisation of the prank.
Keith had expected Lance to get angry or maybe even a few tears but nothing major.
What he didn’t expect was to hear the sounds of the bathroom being ripped apart and soft desperate sobbing.
Worried the red paladin opened the door “Lance are you-”
He cut off when he saw exactly why the makeup bag had meant so much to him.
Across the right side of his face there were long white scars trailing along his skin. There were five in total all connected at the side of his neck disappearing under his clothes. One stretched over the outside of his face curling round to just above his left eyebrow. Another curled under his right eye with one branching off to across his nose. The other two wrapped around each other by his chin and jaw line.
Seeing Keith Lance instantly threw his hands up covering his face. “Don’t look at me!” He screamed frantically.
His sleeves fell down showing his right arm also covered with the swirling pale scars shockingly different to his dark skin.
Keith stared at him in shock.
How long had Lance been hiding this from them? When had he been hurt? What could of done this kind damage?
“Oh god… Lance”
Lance shrunk away from Keith not stopping until he hit the cold tile wall.
He looked like a trapped animal countered by a predator.
“I’m so sorry” Keith mumbled sitting down next to him and pulling the blue paladin into a slightly awkward hug.
Lance stiffened for a moment before melting under his team mates touch.
He turned, burying his face into Keith’s chest and sobbed desperately.
Keith wasn’t sure what to do. All he knew was that he wanted to make Lance feel better. Slowly he began to run his free hand through the taller boys hair making quiet shushing noises.
Half an hour later Lance had calmed down and had stopped crying, however he still had his face hidden in Keith’s shirt.
“Thanks” Lance mumbled so quietly that Keith had to wonder if he had imagined it.
The guilt stopped him in the stomach. He didn’t deserve thanks. He deserved to get his ass kicked and then shot out into space for what he had done.
“You don’t need to thank me… it’s my fault”
Lance slowly looked up just enough so that his blue teary eyes were visible. “It’s not… its mine.”
Keith bit his lip, he wanted to argue but Lance almost never talked about himself, not really.
“How so?”
“I was twelve I think, back when me and my family still lived in Cuba…”
Keith could practically hear the homesickness dripping from those words. He wished he could relate but he never really had a home to miss in the first place.
“Mamma told me and my older brother not to go to the ocean that day. But Leo told me it would be fine. And it was for a little bit. We swam, played and surfed for a couple hours. Then it started to get dark and Leo said it was time to go home b-but I was having too much fun so I ignored him. I even ignored him when he tried to warn me…”
Lance was quiet for a few minutes trying to swallow the lump in his throat.
“See Mama had seen on the news that there were lots of Jellyfish in the water that day… she tried to keep us safe without scaring us.
But we wanted to play and well I didn’t notice the Jellyfish until one stung me on the ankle…”
Keith found himself leaning closer silently urging Lance to continue.
“I fell off my board right into a whole bunch of them. I don’t remember much. Just blinding pain then next thing I know I’m waking up in hospital a week later.”
Keith gasped cringing at how Lance flinched at the noise.
“C-can I see?” He asked hesitantly. He didn’t expect his request to be answered so it was surprising when Lance took of his shirt to show the mess of thin white scars that stretched across his torso.
Kieth couldn’t help but run his finger over the one across Lance’s chest.
“Beautiful”
“What was that?” Lance asked causing Keith to blush bright red “I erm I only meant that they look cool! Like lightning!” He sputtered.
Lance chuckled bitterly “yeah I used to think so too. In Cuba at least the kids in school saw it as a badge of honour. But after my Dad died and we had to move to America to live with my Grandparents well… kids can be cruel. They can be cruel about makeup too but I find it’s easier to play the vain pretty boy then have to deal with teasing or worse pity.”
Keith gulped. He was honoured that Lance shared something so personal with him but he knew he didn’t deserve it.
“Look Lance this really is my fault me and Pidge stole your stuff to try and get back at you for always hogging the bathroom.”
Keith expected yelling, maybe more crying. What he didn’t expect was for Lance to just shrug one shoulder “yeah I figured from how guilty you looked.”
“Your not mad?”
Lance laughed, for real this time. “No I’m not mad. Your the first person to call my scars beautiful… it kinda meant a lot.”
Lance looked away blushing almost as much as Keith was.
He realises his hand was still resting on Lance’s bare chest and pulled it away only for it to be grabbed by Lance.
“Glad I was awake for this bonding moment”
Keith smiled looking down at their hands for a moment.
“Yeah me too.”

"HANNAH FUCKED CLAY'S LIFE AND OF EVERYONE ON THE TAPES"

Okay. I just want to say what i think about this. I’ve seeing a lot of people hating on hannah because she “ ruined clay’s and Alex, Zach, etc…lifes.”

Clay didn’t deserve to be on the tapes but he MUST be because as Hannah said was her story and if she was going to tell it Clay couldn’t stay outside.
Tony did not deserve the burden that Hannah left him but I also understand Hannah a lot and because she did the things she did.
Also, we have only some of the reasons. Not all. For which Hannah killed herself, because the list said more.
Besides that, is true that Clay suffered a lot and if Hannah had been clearer with him surely she would have saved.
But Hannah was very hurted and got tired of asking for help from the wrong people and Clay really liked her so I understand why she felt afraid and was embarrassed to tell Clay what was wrong. (Removing the fact that she thought it was only going to ruin him, I think it went beyond that)
She didn’t want to lose him but she losed him anyway because he ended up going.

The point here is not Hannah.
Unfortunately, the point here is Clay. And Tony. And all who could do something but did not.
The point of the story is that, it makes everyone stand up and think ‘I should have listened, I should have said this, I should have insisted’
When Tony said he ignored the tapes until half an hour later because he thought Hannah was a bit dramatic. When Clay got scared and left the room because he did not know how to react. All those are things that they know were wrong. They could have changed everything from having been a bit braver or not to have judged.
So I’m not judging Hannah or thinking that she was wrong for put Clay in the tapes, Clay already suffered from panic and anxiety before the tapes.
This just hit him more and did all that because he suffered those things and Hannah didn’t knew but still, Clay needed to know the truth.
And Tony told to him this several times.
If Clay did not listen to the tapes, there would be no story.
Besides, was needed that clay to be brave to make everyone recognize their mistakes and do justice. If Hannah never made the tapes, what happened to her was going to keep happening.
And that’s what the show want to teach and that’s what Clay tries to prevent.

Yesterday I read that a girl put “I hate Hannah because of her Clay’s going to spend his whole life trying to save everyone”
I think not just Clay, everyone on the tapes are going to think twice before doing things and I think that’s not bad.
Sometimes the truth hurts. Sometimes people prefer to ignore things to do something because it’s very painful to face it or take justice. But sometimes ignoring it is worse. And that’s what Clay learns. That it is necessary to speak when one has to speak and do something, that one has to be courageous.
That’s why Clay also continues passing the tapes at the end to Porter because everyone needs to take responsibility for what they did. ( also that jessica asked him for do it) And if you can not live with it, you try to live to repair it. And If what you did has no way of being fixed you have to live with it in the way you can.
But you can’t live like nothing if you made someone kill himself.
No matter how few intentions you had or how little you did compared to others, you did it, and anyway, none of those who did Hannah things had good intentions.
Not even Zach.
Just Clay.
That’s why, although for clay it was very painful to listen to the tapes and this almost did killed himself ( i cried a lot in that part) I think he had to listen to them and it’s like Tony said “you’re not God, you can’t stop everything”
Clay only feels guilty because he couldn’t save Hannah but none of they could, they all failed even if Clay loved her.
Tony is very sensible about what he said to Clay, because he needed to know about the tapes but he also had to know that he should not be there, that he didn’t do anything wrong, and that he was the only reason Hannah could have had to stay.
But I think guilt sometimes causes people to react.
And even if to Alex made him kill himself, if the tapes did not exist they would all have continued to live their lives quiet while Hannah killed herself.
And Bryce and all those who fucked up his life would never stop hurting others.
What is being said behind the scenes “if Bryce or any of them don’t get a cost for what they did, they will keep doing it over and over again.”
So I think everything had to be in that way. If Clay wasn’t on the tapes, nothing would have happened and no one would have done justice. Jessica would have believed Justin just as long as who knows and when she knew, she would not have the courage to talk about it or face anyone. Justin would never have considered the things he did or would never have had to tell Jessica the truth or face Bryce and break their false friendship. Bryce would never have confessed and would continue raping girls because no one of who are in the tapes faced bryce. They just left it that way. They kept their mouths shut for their own protection.
The only one who did something is Clay. And Alex would have continued to do things to be part of the bryce group and the idiots. Alex would have continued to do lists or who knows other things.
Marcus would have continued to play girls whenever he felt like it.
(And although many believe that zach is innocent and what he did was minimal or not important, I do not think so) maybe what Zach did was minimal compared to others in the tapes. But it matters. In the end, everything matters.
As hannah said is a snowball that is getting bigger.
So Zach stole the only source of happiness that Hannah had at that time (besides he being very childish making this lmao) and not only that, Hannah wrote to him a letter telling him how much she was suffering and that she needed those compliments.
And Zach ignored the letter. Maybe he did not throw it. Maybe he saved it. A point for Zach.
But he ignored her. He did not do anything. And sometimes don’t do anything is worse than doing it. That’s what the series is all about.
Maybe Zach was scared but I refuse to have compassion on him and minimize what he did, because minimizing what Zach did would be minimize the pain of hannah, and I think we’ve all learned that’s a BIG mistake. Minimizing the pain of others is not good. Zach might have a good heart … or not.
I’ve seen the series already three times and I could not help think: why do y'all overlook the scenes where Zach is a bully? LITERALLY. Zach laughs and encourages Bryce to send the picture of hannah from Justin’s phone, Zach makes obscene gestures along with marcus and the others to Hannah in the hallways after Alex’s list, Zach pushes Clay down the hallway and mocks on him. Zach stoled clay’s bike with Alex and Justin. ZACH AS THE OTHERS KEEP SILENCE ON A RAPIST. Zach continued to be friends with this rapist. Was Zach scared to help Hannah? But not scared enough to bullied others?
Maybe Zach wanted to be a marine biologist and maybe he’s allergic to strawberries. But I’m not interested. Because Zach is no different from the rest. And if Clay had not scratched his car, and if he had not faced Zach, maybe Zach would have done worse things in the future, he would have never felt guilty at all.
If Hannah did not make the tapes or did not include Clay in them, maybe Mr. Porter would never know the truth and ignore other people asking for help or advised them wrong again, and Hannah’s story would be repeated.
Maybe Courtney would continue to pretend to be friends with everyone and use people to cover her homosexuality. And Tyler would continue to spy on people and stalking people through his windows and would continue to take photos and violating the privacy of others if Clay had not faced him and the tapes did not exist, because he would never understand what hannah felt if clay did not make him feels it too.
And Ryan would continue stealing things that do not belong to him and leaving others in ridicule for his own arrogance.
And Clay would never know that it is better to say things when you should and when you have the opportunity because you could save a life.
And nobody would know the importance of what they did and said. And sheri would continue to do bad things and leave them that way that could lead to the death of more people and not just Jeff. And there would be more than one Jeff.
The only one different on the tapes is Clay. So clay had to be in the tapes because otherwise, they would all have continued to live and who knows if the tapes had kept going, maybe Bryce would have burned them and no one would ever know the truth more than they. And maybe he would have even looked for Tony to get rid of the copies or who knows.
Because not even Tony was encouraged to do something when he knew the whole truth Even Tony did not know what to do, just Clay.
Because it’s easy to stand up and say “Hannah is a bitch she ruined everyone’s life with the tapes”
But what about her life? Who would pay anything for ruined Hannah’s life?
Were all the others supposed to keep living peacefully because Hannah was dramatic and crazy according to them? No.
 Hannah and Clay are the ones who didn’t deserve so much pain throughout history. Then maybe a little bit Alex and Jessica.
But everyone else deserved to be on the tapes and deserved to take responsibility for what they did. And I think Hannah was not dramatic. That’s all. Thank you if you read this mess until the end.

What Do You Feel | 002

Who: Jughead Jones
What: Riverdale

Part One ||| Part Two

Veronica looked over her shoulder, frowning as she watched [Y/N] laugh and chuck a few french fries in Reggie’s direction. It had been weeks since the whole Jughead and [Y/N] incident and [Y/N] was keeping her distance from her normal group of friends. Turning back around, she reached for her milkshake and fiddled with the straw. “I know the topic of [Y/N] is sort of off limits but I miss her.”

Without missing a beat, Jughead’s eyes snapped up from his laptop, his cold expression icing her bones. Normally, he could tune out his friends but ever since the rift between him and [Y/N], his focus had been all over the place.

Putting her hands up in submission and then crossing them over her chest, she leaned back into the booth, frowning again. “Sorry but I’m just speaking the truth.” Lowering her gaze to the table, she sighed. “She should be sitting here with us, not with the fuckboys and fuckgirls of Riverdale.” Veronica shuddered at the group of people [Y/N] had taken comfort with for the past few weeks.

Kevin avoided Jughead’s ice cold stare, nodding in agreement. “Not trying to throw myself to the wolves but I agree with Veronica.” Running his finger over the faded design of their booth, he flickered a look behind him towards [Y/N]. He could tell that she wasn’t entirely happy by the way her smile would falter just a smidge after she finished her laugh, [Y/N] was extremely easy to read for those who truly knew her.

Archie, who sat directly behind Jughead and the others in a separate booth, chimed in. “It’s weird not having her here. I mean, have you tried talking to her since it happened, Jughead?”

Betty violently turned around, her eyes narrowed with a look that could have killed. She had been there for the aftermath and saw firsthand the broken state it left Jughead in. “Let’s change the subject, guys.” Throwing everyone dirty looks, she changed the topic onto an altercation between her and Cheryl that had happened earlier that day.

Slinging off his helmet from the day’s practice, Archie walked through halls of Riverdale High. Just as he was about to reach the locker rooms, movement at the end of the hall caught his attention. Squinting his eyes, he headed for [Y/N]. He watched as she placed a physics textbook back into her locker, he figured that she had just gotten done with a tutor session. [Y/N] always helped out her classmates whenever they needed an extra hand.

“[Y/N].”

She gasped, clutching the locker door from being startled. “Archie! Shit, you scared me.”

Leaning against the lockers, he frowned slightly. “Sorry, didn’t mean to.”

Pressing her lips together, she tore her eyes from his and started to shove some books into her bag. “Need something?” She finally asked.

“Yeah, I do. An explanation.” He firmly stated.

Closing her locker, she frowned. “Archie,” she warned.

Come on, [Nickname].” Archie pleaded. He hadn’t been lying when he said it had been weird with [Y/N] straying from their friendship. Even his father was noticing the absence of a certain girl.  “It’s been weeks and we’ve barely held a conversation long enough for me to know if you’re okay. We’re best friends or at least I thought we were. I care about you, [Nickname]. You just cut me off, you cut everyone off. I wanted to be there for you.” Archie reached out for her arm as she went to turn away, pulling her back gently, and shaking his head. “You and Jughead can coexist in our lives, [Y/N].”

“Shouldn’t you be at practice,” she asked coldly.

Letting go of her arm, he narrowed his eyes lightly. “It got cut short today.”

Frowning, she looked down, “I’m sorry, Archie. I didn’t mean it like that.” Looking back up, she sighed. Closing her locker, she gave a small smile. “I know you guys wanted to be there for me but I didn’t want to talk about it. I didn’t want you guys defending him and making me feel like I was wrong for ending things.” Adjusting the strap of her bag, she placed her back against her locker. “And to be completely honest if I stuck around, Jughead wouldn’t have. And he really needed you guys more than I did.”

Archie pressed his lips together, [Y/N] had a point. She was easy to get along with, people flocked to her. Jughead wasn’t necessarily a loner but he kept to himself and only trusted those who knew him. And that list wasn’t very long. Giving her a smile, he pulled her into a hug. Squeezing her tight and relishing the time he had left with her. He could tell that tomorrow she’d continue to avoid him.

“Juggie,”

Jughead looked up from his blank screen, finding Betty standing in the doorway of the Blue and Gold room. Clearing his throat, he lowered the laptop. “Yeah?”

Stepping inside, she walked slowly towards him. All Betty wanted was for Jughead to get out of his mood. “How are you feeling?”

Groaning, he ran both his hands over his face and kept them there. “Isn’t that the million dollar question.” Peaking through his fingers, he sighed, “I don’t know.”

Betty sat in front of him, frowning. “You don’t know or you don’t want to say? There’s a difference, Jug.”

Pulling his hands down, he narrowed his eyes. “What?”

Biting her lip, “You love [Y/N], you have to. And I’m not saying that you have to love her. I mean it as there’s no way that you don’t.” Betty had witnessed the romance between her friends happen. It was just a gradual fall. Every day, she’d notice that they’d sit just a little bit closer than the day before, their looks would linger for a second or two longer, and that their smiles were wider by the day. It was such a sweet, innocent kind of love that formed between them. Betty wanted nothing more than to talk about it but she knew that the minute she said something, they’d shy away and never return.

Jughead closed his eyes, “Betty.” He didn’t want to talk about it. He just wanted to forget about it and let it die. If [Y/N] wanted to run off with another group then so be it.

“Why didn’t you tell her how you felt, Juggie? This whole thing could have been avoided and your relationship would’ve been stronger.”

“You wouldn’t understand,” he mumbled.

“Try me, Juggie.” Betty murmured.

Biting down on his thumb, he looked away from her intent gaze. Mumbling, he moved his thumb away from his lips. “When we were all little, my dad used to tell me that I was going to fall in love with her and that he could see it happening years from then.” Betty smiled lightly at the thought of his father calling his romance. Now that she thought about it, it was sort of easy to see that Jughead and [Y/N] would have ended up together all those years ago. They had always been attached at the hip, always supporting each other through everything.“He also told me that girls like [Y/N] were dangerous.”

Betty’s brows knitted together, “I don’t understand.” Of all the people in Riverdale, [Y/N] was the least dangerous, she was always so calm and collected.

Shaking his head, he shrugged. “I didn’t either until I asked him the other day what he meant when he said that.” Running a hand over his beanie, he sighed again. “He kind of looked at me and pieced it all together. I guess I’m not as good at hiding my emotions like I thought I could. He figured out that [Y/N] and I were more than friends and that we broke up. He just looked at me and asked me what I felt and that, that was the reason why she was dangerous.” Meeting Betty’s eyes, he frowned. “How do I tell her words that have never been formed or ever existed. Because that’s what I feel whenever I’m around her.”

Betty placed a warm hand over his, “Then you use words that already exist.”

[Y/N] didn’t know how the fight started or what made it happen, all she did know was that she and Archie walked straight into a fighting ring in the student lounge. Their classmates all cheering and recording Reggie and Jughead brawling in the middle of the room.

Exchanging looks with Archie, they both threw down their books and backpacks. Before Archie had the chance, [Y/N] beat him to it and grabbed Reggie by the back of his shirt and yanked him off of Jughead.

Slinging him away from her, [Y/N] snarled out while Archie quickly helped Jughead up off the ground. “Back off, Reggie.” The crowd quickly dispersed as Archie threateningly told all of them to leave or else there would be another fight.

Reggie scoffed, fixing his shirt from the scuffle. “He had it coming.”

“I think it was the other way around, buddy.” Jughead sneered as he held his bleeding nose. “I hope you choke on all that shit you talk.”

“That’s it, you little-” Reggie went for it but [Y/N] was quicker. Planting her feet firmly on the ground, she shoved him as hard as she possibly could causing him to stumble backwards onto the couch.

“-I said back off, Reggie!” [Y/N] snapped. She was absolutely livid, the fact that Reggie and Jughead were fighting infuriated her. [Y/N] hadn’t been a huge fan of Reggie but she accepted him for his flaws and tried to tolerate him. There were moments where she could see herself being friends with him but after today, she wanted nothing to do with him. Whether Jughead started the fight or not.

“Don’t put your hands on me or-”

“-or what?” Archie growled. Gently grabbing [Y/N]’s arm, he pulled her behind him. Stepping directly in front of his captain, he squinted his eyes. Archie didn’t think Reggie would swing at a girl but he didn’t want to take that chance. Despite [Y/N] avoiding him for the last few weeks, it didn’t matter. He was going to protect his friends no matter who it involved.

Reggie was about to respond but thought against it the second Betty, Veronica, and Kevin all came barging through the door to see the commotion.

[Y/N] was fuming, it was clear to anyone that was watching her that her blood was boiling. The students that were left were all in shock at her current demeanor. She had never shown anger this way not even when Cheryl had it out for her.

Taking a deep breath, she turned around to look at Jughead. He sported some cuts and a profusely bleeding nose. Glancing down at her wrist, she cursed silently, 2:54. The school’s nurse had already packed up and gone home for the day. Reaching over towards the table, she plucked a few tissues from the box and handed them over to Jughead. With her voice low and comforting, she placed a hand on his shoulder, ushering him towards the door. “Come on, let’s go.”

All of her friends exchanged looks, surprised that she was even talking to Jughead. Veronica pursed her lips, leaning towards Betty and quietly whispering. “Do you think this will mean we’ll have [Nickname] back?”

Betty watched carefully as [Y/N] gently guided Jughead past her, “I hope so but I don’t know.”

Leaning down to grab her backpack and books, she heard Reggie scoff, “Yeah, go run back to your little freakshow boyfriend.”

Tightening her grip on Jughead who tensed underneath her, she gave him a look as to not respond. Slinging her bag over her shoulder, her hand left Jughead as she turned to look Reggie in the eyes. “Cry me fucking river, Reggie. It was never going to happen.” Opening the door, she motioned for Jughead to go.

“You would have been a waste of my time anyway.”

Archie lost it, shoving him against the wall, “Hey! Watch that fucking mouth!”

Rolling her eyes, she gave Archie a smile, feeling stupid for shutting her friends out of her life. “Thanks Arch but,” looking at Reggie, she wore a look of disgust on her face. “you can only offend me if you mean something to me and Reggie, honey, you aren’t worth a damn thing to me.”

The silence was killing him, but he didn’t dare speak a word. Jughead just sat quietly in the nurse’s office while [Y/N] sneakily shuffled through the cabinets. Looking up when she kneeled down in front of him, he met her eyes. A sharp pain shot through his chest because all he wanted was to kiss her and tell her how much he had been an idiot for not going after her.

Biting her lip, [Y/N] handed him a wet rag to wipe his bloody nose. Watching him clean himself, she started to work on the cut just above his right eyebrow. After a few minutes of unbearable silence, she finally stood up and asked the question she had been dying to ask. “Why were you two fighting?”

Jughead debated on responding, but knew that he could never really shun her out the way she did with him. Looking down at his hands, he shrugged. “Just said some things I didn’t like.”

“Like?” She pushed.

He stood up too, walking past her and leaning against the nurse’s counter. “It’s Reggie, [Y/N]. He says shit all the time and it just pissed me off.” Avoiding her raised brow, he mumbled. “He was just talking about you.”

Tilting her head, she stood in front of him, with her arms crossed. “Saying what exactly?”

Taking a deep breath, he met her gaze. “That he was this close to sealing the deal with you. That he was going to take you to one of the rooms during Cheryl’s party tomorrow night.” Breaking their eye contact, he gave an irritated sigh, “It just made me snap because the thought of you-” Jughead quickly closed his mouth. He didn’t want to go there. He wasn’t ready.

Moving closer, she raised a brow. “The thought of me what? The thought of me losing my virginity to Reggie made you upset?” [Y/N] shook her head, her hands grabbing his. Her movement caused Jughead’s head snap up and look her in her eyes.

Nodding, he chewed on his lip. “Yeah.”

“Oh, Jug.” Dropping her hands from his, she brought one up to caress his cheek. “I already told you that you were the only one I wanted to claim it.”

“Yeah but that was before you broke up with me.” He said coldly.

Pulling back her hand, she nodded. “Yes but,” trailing off, she scoffed at the idea of Reggie having her virginity and the idea that he thought he could take it. “you couldn’t have possibly believed that I would let Reggie Mantle of all people-”

“-it wasn’t that, [Nickname].” Jughead interrupted, getting slightly frustrated. Gently pushing past her, he paced a few steps before turning around to look at her confused expression. “It was the way he was talking about you, [Y/N]. Like, like you were some kind of score. A thing that could be won. You aren’t an item, [Nickname]. You’re a person, a person with feelings, a person with feelings that broke up with someone who also had feelings he couldn’t explain.”

“Well,” biting her lip, “it means a lot that you’d stick up for me but,” she motioned towards his bruised eye and cuts, “was it worth bucking up to the Captain of the football team, Jug? I mean you got some really good licks in but not enough evidence on his face to back it up.”

“I wasn’t going to sit there and let him say those things about you, [Y/N].” Shaking his head, he scoffed, “It was a matter of time before Archie heard them and then what?”

Sighing, [Y/N] stepped forward. Throwing her arms around his neck, she pulled him in close. Her grip tightened when she felt him embrace her back. Fighting back tears, she whispered out. “I miss you, Juggie.”

Closing his eyes, he breathed, “I miss you too.”

Pulling away just enough for her to look him in the eyes, she murmured, “Can we take baby steps? I’m not completely over the fact that you can’t tell me what you feel but I guess I have to accept that we just work better without words but I need to go slow.”

Jughead couldn’t resist kissing her, both of his hands flew up her cheeks and pulled her into a kiss. It lasted for a few seconds but it was enough to give him courage for what he had to say next. Resting his forehead against hers, he sighed lightly. “I know that wasn’t slow but I just want you, [Nickname]. That’s it. Nothing else but your flaws, mistakes, laughs, jokes, sarcasm, everything. I didn’t know what I felt until you walked away because everything I ever felt with you was normal. I had never felt any other way before. And then when you walked away. I felt broken. I felt like my entire world came crashing down around me and now…now I understand those lame sappy sad songs about broken love.” He chuckled with her, suddenly feeling a little bit better after hearing her giggle.

“Juggie,” she breathed.

“Love isn’t supposed to be easy. It’s supposed to be worth it and no one else is worth an ounce of my attention besides you. Years from now when we’ve said goodbye to this shit town, I want to look at you by my side and think how lucky I am to have kept you this long.”

[Y/N] couldn’t respond, she was choked up. This was what she wanted to hear. That Jughead had the same exact plans as she did, that she wasn’t the only one feeling this way. Smiling, she pressed her lips against his.

I didn’t see her love, I felt it plainly as the sun. -atticus
