I don't usually post stuff like this...

This is a post to say why I think reading a book a second time is better than the first time. I used to think it was boring to read a book more than once, but just recently I have plunged myself back into One Day by David Nicholls, it has been well over a year since the first time I read it but I am enjoying it way more than the first time. Probably because knowing how the book is going to end means you don’t rush through it as much (I am guilty of rushing through a book and missing out on interesting parts because I am desperate to know how it ends) Which means you appreciate it so much more, every little bit of it seems so much more important than the first time. Another reason why I think its good to read  a book a second time, is because you can get a totally different opinion on it, something that meant a lot to you when you read it the first time might not mean as much now(and vice-versa), so it could mean it feels like a different book because you are getting something different out of it.
