With the exception of the 1962 Mustang I concept car on display at the Henry Ford, this is probably the earliest Mustang I’ve ever seen. It rolled off the line on April 17th, 1964, the official birthday of the Ford Mustang. Incredibly, it’s a largely unrestored car as well.
Jaguar Series 1 XKE 4.2 Coupe, 1966, designed by Raymond Loewy. Built by French coachbuilders Pinchon-Parat, the one-off XKE was used by Loewy himself while he lived in France and Monaco. The unrestored car was sold at auction in 2011 for US$128,000
1969 Hurst Olds 455 spotted in Phoenix, AZ. Had a talk with the owner, it’s a low-mile 2-owner car (one family), and he’s gradually restoring it. I do believe I’d trade major parts of my anatomy for this car.
