unreliable source

anonymous asked:

You cannot acknowledge what is right and what is wrong based off of assumptions and/or unreliable sources. We don't know exactly what happened, but what we do know is that management/the label lied and have LAND and C under very restricting contracts, meaning we are in no position to judge them and the best thing to do is support the girls, realize what management is controlling, and hope that once their contracts end they can do whatever they want to do freely. Don't be gullible don't hate.

👆🏻☝🏻 Amen! To Anon. Fucking read this shit. You need to learn so fucking much mija.

hey so uh

no idea if this will ever be relevant but… anyone else like. curious about this

The world needs to know what is happening in Venezuela right now. As many of you might know, Venezuela is been in a dictatorship for more than 15 years and it’s only getting worse. After Chavez’ dead, Nicolas Maduro unconstitutionally took the place as the president and things has been getting worse since then. In 2013, the start of the big protests in Venezuela more than 200 people (mostly students between the age of 16 and 21) all over the country were arrested, the majority of those protesting were hurt by guns, bird shots and teargas resulting in the dead of many of them (again, not even older than 25). All of those attacks are from the government itself to try and repress the population from voicing their constitucional rights. Venezuela is been suffering since then a huge humanity crisis that are also the reasons for the protests. There’s not medicine in the hospitals and pharmacies, kids are basically dying from lack of resources. We can’t afford to have basic necessities such as toilet paper because there’s a huge scarcity in products of first necessity. There’s not food, and those who can afford to buy them need to spent a lot of money that the normal salary can’t cover, in fact, our salary doesn’t even afford us to have a nice diner at a restaurant. Our inflation is the highest in the world and the devaluation of our coin keeps getting even worst. There’s families/kids eating out of garbage. We have constants blackouts. The insecurity in our country is one of the worst, trust me, many Venezuelans are afraid to go outside on a certain hour, most Venezuelans have been victims of some robbery. In fact, many localities close at 6pm due to insecurity. My own mother was assaulted with guns at least 3 times in less time. Universities also suffer from insecurity. We can’t even talk about this because the government forcibly closed, censored or took out of circulation our only sources of information. The national channels don’t even speak about the protests or necessities suffered in the country because they want to brain wash those in vulnerable positions. Recently CNN was taken out of circulation in our country so the only way we can watch the news is due internet, that at this rate might be even controlled as well. There’s also a huge problem of indoctrination, the public employees get forced to attempt to political events held by the government and if they don’t they get fired, it happened to the father of a friend of mine and thousands of others.

A month ago, Nicolas Maduro proclaimed a law and eliminate the rights that constitutionally belong to the National Assembly (also known as Parliament), the National Assembly that is mostly directed by the opposition party voted by the majority of Venezuelans is the one (as stated in the constitution) in charge of making, eliminate and change laws which also protect the citizens, with this new law, the assembly can’t do their job because all their proceedings were given to the President (which means he can do what he wants with not repercussions) and to the Justice system, an unreliable source because all the public institutions in Venezuela are corrupted by this system and have done nothing but turn their back of the citizens and their rights such as the Electoral System (CNE) that has actively participated in the frauds created by the government in the voting procedures & failed to re-count votes when asked to. We don’t even have the security of a good police and military organization because like the public institutions they only obey this dictatorship government and their follow the orders to kill, torture and persecute those students, political activists and any one proclaiming their right to pacifically protest as it’s stated in the constitution.

This last few days there’s been various protests around the country and things aren’t that different from 2013. Students are getting arrested and beaten in hands of the police and national military. Just today, April 10, there’s been 3 deaths (kids younger than 20 years old), and there’s over 400 arrests all around the country were the majority are minors. The police and military (GNB - Guardia Nacional Bolivariana) has been repressing students with expired teargas, bird shots and actual guns without any disregard for the citizens. Hospital has been affected, many people including babies. ALL OF THIS is happening RIGHT NOW. There’s literal kids being killed on the streets for protesting against a dictatorship government. Please take a look at this Instagram account: @venezuelalucha, this accounts has been posting the videos about all of this attacks and some of them might be triggering but is the reality of the country.

A government that wants to held power in any means possible including going against the constitution is a dictatorship. Those who need to suppress, kill, repress and persecute the citizens for protesting against them it’s a clear example of lack of human rights. Spread the world about what is happening around the world. Kids should NOT be killed and assault for protesting. This needs to be an international issue because this is a clear example of violation of human rights and the international media needs to be aware of this.

Venezuela is a war zone right now.

How to be a Good Boyfriend. (Evan Hansen x Reader)

Request:  Evan x reader something fluffy please!

WC: 4,097 (I’m sorry)

A/N: I’m going to put this under a read more because it’s long. I’m not even sure if this is good or even fits the request. Feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Evan wanted you to know how much he loved you, he really did. It was hard sometimes because of his anxiety. He had never been in a relationship before. He didn’t know what to do. He never felt like he was giving as much to your relationship as you were. You constantly tried to reassure him that he was, but in his on special way. He never accepted that though. Evan wanted to be an affectionate boyfriend that could do sweet things for you. Not a boyfriend who was flustered to even hold your hand.

Well lads, it’s been a while since I last wrote a Random Venezuelan Rant™, so lets correct that, shall we?

Today’s topic

Alright, a bit of a background, the city of Maracaibo, my home, has had, at least for the last 30 years or so, a massive water distribution problem, which is blamed more or less on an old, outdated and badly maintained water distribution infrastructure, limited capacity for water treatment, and unreliable sources of water, so by my estimates, at least half of the city doesn’t have access to constant running water, instead relying on water tankers to fill up rooftop and underground tanks.

Now, I say constant, because at random intervals, from days to weeks, water does arrive, and most people use those precious few hours of running water to fill their tanks, as said water tankers can be very expensive, specially during the drought season.

My neighborhood is not exception to this, in fact, it’s infamous for how long water takes to get here, the longest time being 4 months, so my house came equipped with an underground tank with a capacity of some 15,000 liters or 4,000 US gallons, alongside a water pump and “lung” to keep the pressure steady within the house.

Our water tank and auxiliary water “pipe”, which is basically a second connection to the main pipe we made ourselves in desperation during the 4-moth drought, it looks like shit I know, but hey, it works!

Our water pump and pressure system, please ignore the leaky valve.

And the thing is, the infrastructure is so damaged, we know water is arriving because the streets get flooded, as many pipes are broken and no one ever bothers to fix them, but to be fair most damage comes from the people themselves, doing what we did just to get a bit more water from the mains.

The funny thing is, water has been arriving with increasing regularity lately, which should be a great thing! But since this is Venezuela, the weirdness doesn’t never stops, as those leaky pipes have been keeping varios streets constantly flooded, leading to deteriorated asphalt, many houses with water damaged, and extreme proliferation of flies and mosquitoes, which has always been a problem as bug spray has been very scarce for the last 4 years, so rather that being a blessing, it’s becoming a nuisance, quite the ironic predicament.

There’s a big-ass pothole hidden under the water in the last pic, I blew a tire on it three weeks ago.

Now, as you may have noticed, this all looks unsanitary as fuck, and well, it’s because it is! All this water is used for household cleaning, personal hygiene and cooking, but drinking it raw is a big no-no, forcing people to rely on watercoolers/bottled water for that, many also using that water for cooking as well, as even boiling it is not recommended.

We cook with ours because fuck it, we’re used to it (and the diarrhea went away after the first month anyway).

It also used to give us, specially mom and me, skin rashes, but those went away with time as well, although I’ve heard that many prefer to bath their babies and toddlers with bottled water, as skin infections are very common among them because of it.

So yeah, water is a big problem here, it has been for the longest time, and will be for God knows how long, but people get used to it, hell, I did, although every time I go back to Colombia, the first thing I do is drink water directly from the faucet, a commodity I sometimes miss, specially every time I have to drag around one of those big-ass water bottles to the kitchen.

As far as I’m aware, this problem has become widespread in recent years, as overall there has been a massive deterioration of the Venezuelan infrastructure, but Maracaibo still is the worst example of this, the ridiculousness of this whole situation greatly increasing as for once, water is finally flowing.

This country is fucking ridiculous at times, but hey, it’s home!

The Smol guide for the Smol Witch

To my beginner Smol witches looking to travel down your own Path of the Witch (whatever that may mean to you) this is a small guide to keep in mind:

[Research]:  I honestly hated doing research for school projects. But I found that because Witchcraft is such a passionate subject for me, It made me feel excited to discover all the information I needed for growth in my Craft. In my opinion, Tumblr is one of the best sources for witchcraft. I personally don’t like to use other websites cause most of them are fluff bunnies who don’t use resources, are Culturally Appropriating, and other unreliable sources. I just don’t have to time to weed out which information is valid or false. Although, if you have experience and go with your gut on certain things you can see through the bullshit.

TL;DR?= summon your inner Hermione Granger when it comes to researching.  Question everything.

[Practice]: Self Explanatory. BUT…keep. it. up. It’s okay if you fail. It’s okay if you fuck up. Don’t get discouraged.

[Ask Around]: Stumped on something? Get different opinions in the Witchy Community. It’s always good to get different persepectives on a subject. That’s how you decide which process is going to be best for you and the path you’re on.

[Trust Your Gut]: Still not sure? Well, what do your instincts tell you? Most of the time the answers you seek cannot be found in asking others. They come with doing some introspecting.

[Read a lot of Books]:  Just like with Research and Asking Around, reading more than one book will help you get different views about a subject your interested in learning.

[The Gnarled Path]: Don’t be afraid to walk a different path than others. Be happy and do you.

“Of all the paths you take in life, make sure a few of them are dirt.”- John Muir

Please feel free to add anything to this list!

Happy Witching!

Dear Juliet Simms

You really are a piece of work aren’t you? It’s only been a few months since the plane incident and you’re now saying it never happened? Don’t assume that just because you were not charged legally with assault that we’re all gullible idiots. There is video proof of what you did. Witnesses. Regardless of what you say, or how you try to twist it, you did hit Andy, and you were escorted off that plane in handcuffs.

The fandom is not constantly bringing up the plane incident because we hate you, though some of us do legitimately hate you at this point. We bring it up because what you did classifies as domestic abuse and you’re not holding yourself accountable. A lot of Andy’s fans are worried sick for his safety now because of you, and you trying to erase the incident from existence instead of owning up to your crappy 'mistakes’ makes us all very anxious.

Tell me why we should forget when you’re proving yourself continuously to be untrustworthy? You’re showing the characteristics of a domestic abuser who got exposed and is now trying to cover her tracks. All you’ve done whenever someone brings up the incident is make excuses for yourself. You’ve blamed your elevated blood alcohol level for you punching Andy, and you’ve said that Marie Carey is an unreliable source, even though she has no reason to lie about what happened.

You have a reason to lie, though. So excuse me for not taking you at face value. I find it hard to believe feeble sob stories from a woman who assaults her husband on a plane in public and than lies about it.

You’re not the victim in all of this, Juliet. Andy is. Andy had a loved one punch him in the face - a couple of times apparently - during what was stated to be a very distressing time for both of you. You selfishly blamed him for the situation he’d found himself in, and than proceeded to call domestic abuse on him for allegedly breaking your ribs, remember? If you can’t, you can watch the video on TMZ.

By the way, I know Andy wrote that post on Instagram writing off your behaviour. I’m just going to point this out to you: if Andy had gotten drunk on that plane and smacked you around, the internet would still be bending over backwards in sympathy for you. Andy’s career would have been over faster than the story broke, and if you tried to make the same excuses for him that he has for you, you’d have been seen as a battered woman.

And another thing, you saying you couldn’t possibly have hurt Andy because he’s over six foot and well built… Seriously, what the fuck is wrong with you? First of all, Andy is tall, yes, but he’s built like a twig. A fucking stiff breeze would do that man in.

Secondly, your claim devalues men who have survived domestic abuse situations. Women are biologically smaller than men but that doesn’t mean they can’t cause serious damage when they want to. Abuse is not just physical, and a small woman can cause physical harm to a larger man. They use weapons (or pick fights in places where the man can’t respond). It seems to me like you’re making excuses again.

Finally, Andy appearing to react in any kind of physical manner would’ve appeared to be an act of domestic abuse on his part. Neither of you are stupid so I know you both knew there wasn’t anything he could have done, other than sit there and try to wait it out, that wouldn’t have made his situation worse.

You’re responsible for your own actions. Everything you’ve done that’s gotten us to this point is your own damn fault.

Clean up your act, Juliet. You’re a disgrace.

Submission: I hope Juliet reads this, because that’s some strong tea.

The Many Forms of Magic (Part 1)

Beings that cannot exist inhabit a place that cannot be.

Cursed by gods and feared by mortals, these entities fall outside the boundaries of life, death, and undeath.

They are untouchable by even the most powerful deities, though they can be summoned and used by the weakest mortal.

The practitioner of pact magic contacts these alien forces by means of special symbols and rituals.

Once a summoning is complete, he strikes a bargain with the summoned being to gain great supernatural power.

In addition, DMs might find many uses for the strange monsters associated with pact magic, the descriptions of the organizations that either employ it or battle those who do, and the sites for adventures involving this form of magic.

Class Has Not Been Cancelled

Hey guys!

This is just a friendly reminder that Class HAS NOT been cancelled!

To the people who want Class to be cancelled, stop fucking saying that. I have seen people upset and confused over false information. If you want Class cancelled, fine, but at least have the decency to let that person know that this untrue cancellation has yet to be confirmed. Give them facts not the bullshit Mirror article that started this whole rumor.

To the people who read that it got cancelled and wanted to let others know, you have been misinformed. Many tabloids have been taking their information form the Mirror which is an unreliable source. BBC has not made a decision on it’s future, that rests on the the show does in America. If it does well then hopefully we will get a second series. The actors, the writer, and Steven Moffat have all confirmed that it has not been cancelled. Let me repeat, it has been confirmed that the Mirror was bullshit, and that Class has not been cancelled. They all hope to see more the show.

So imagine that all the heroes in NY hear (from a very unreliable source) that Spidey and DP are getting married! Hawkeye and Falcon plan this sick and wild bachelor party for Spidey, who everyone thinks is an adult! Meanwhile Peter’s actually this 17 year old teen that gets an offer to hang out with the coolest members of the Avengers for a night of crazy fun! He finds out it’s his bachelor party and decides to just go with it since he’s always wanted to hang with the guys! Crazy shenanigans!

So one of the questions during Misha’s panel at Phoenixcon was about the “rumours” pertaining to an “AU!Cas” and how that Cas would be different.

Misha asked the person where they got the rumours from (it was you, Misha, during JIB smh) and the person responded “Twitter” and then there was some back-and-forth about how Twitter was a very unreliable source (which is true).

But then he said “I wouldn’t put too much stock in those rumours.” and that was it. That’s pretty much all he had to say about it. Which makes sense seeing as he probably hasn’t seen a single script aside from the Scooby Doo one yet, so he honestly doesn’t know.

I know there’s a lot of spec about this and opinions are divided, which is fine, that’s always part of the fun. I personally don’t think we’ll get to see an AU!Cas. I think when they bring Cas back he’ll be different somehow, because as Misha did say during JIB: what’s important about Cas’s death is how it will transform him. Maybe he’ll be human. Maybe he’ll be something else completely controlled by Jack the nephilim. But he’s not just gonna come back exactly the same, that would be kinda pointless.

But an AU!Cas from bizarro world? I doubt it. I don’t think they need to introduce an AU!Cs to tell their story. But hey, I could be wrong. Maybe we’ll have an AU!Cas who will interact with Mary/Luci (Bobby?) but never with Sam & Dean. Maybe he’ll even be in a different vessel. But yeah, my money’s on not seeing AU!Cas at all.

Man this hellatus is really dragging on and it hasn’t even been a month yet!

  • People: I am so annoyed they keep hiding who Zendaya is playing, and changing the story...look here's another article of another unreliable source that I believe in.
  • People: Anyway I think she's an alien from Star Wars and they are doing a crossover.

“Trump has only been in office a few months. We can’t blame him for how things are right now.”

Really? Really?

Obama wasn’t in the news every other day having a tweet war or rant like a fucking toddler. Obama wasn’t in the news every other day with an article about taking rights away from a minority group of people. Obama wasn’t in the news because he wanted to get rid of the Environmental Protection Agency, the Department of Education, WIC, funding for libraries and museums, or healthcare for 20 million Americans. Obama wasn’t taking away LGBTQIA and disabled people’s federal rights to employment protection in spite of the disability / sexuality. Obama didn’t have his VP having to say things like “Well he did say that” about things because of outlandish claims that had no backing. Obama didn’t spark what might be the largest organized protest in American history. Obama didn’t want to take care away from poor women who may not have access to OBGYN care due to economic status. Obama wasn’t endorsed by groups like the KKK. Obama’s administration wasn’t under investigation with just a few months in office. Obama didn’t make criminal accusations about the administration before him with absolutely no proof. Obama didn’t want to defund things like National Public Radio or the National Endowment for the Arts. Obama didn’t call the press liars every time they said something he didn’t like. Obama didn’t try to actively suppress free media. Obama wasn’t in the news because he had managed to act like a fucking adult for two hours during a speech. Obama didn’t need people around him to coddle him into doing his job. Obama didn’t get his news from notoriously unreliable sources. Obama didn’t spread false news stories, he fact checked them. Obama wasn’t a laughing stock to the rest of the world. Obama was better than Trump. I could go on and on, but honestly, this is getting exhausting.

So yeah. Yeah. I think we can blame Trump and his administration for how fucked up things are right now. I think we can pretty easily and with much justification blame Trump for the state of America right now. I think it’s pretty obvious.

Drunk Crush Ramblings

In which Grantaire and Eponine whine about their crushes and Montparnasse keeps his silent

featuring: Jehanparnasse, Enjolras, & Eposette. Innuendoes, Sass & Pining

“So, that’s how threesomes happen, right? A no strings attached kind of thing? Though I could do with some ropes.”

Montparnasse snorted, pressing the neck of his beer bottle against his mouth. It wasn’t even the nice kind of beer; it was the first price piss Eponine kept in her fridge in case she had guests to entertain. Montparnasse was a classier guest than most, but the bottle of vodka they had nursed between the three of them―Grantaire, Eponine, and himself―lay empty on the coffee table, so the bottled urine would have to do.

“Oh Honey,” Montparnasse smirked, his head lolling dramatically towards Grantaire, “you couldn’t handle me in bed if you tried.”

“I have very large hands,” Grantaire retorted, wiggling his eyebrows.

Sprawled on the couch, his leg stadling the arm rest, Grantaire looked even more like a mess than he usually did. But he was a tolerable mess, and an entertaining one at that, so Montparnasse just played along and nudged his thigh from his end of the couch. Across from them, slumped on a moth-eaten armchair, Eponine was giggling at them.

“Didn’t think you’d be so eager to fuck Enjolras out of your head, R,” she said, whistling slightly in her beer bottle.

Montparnasse quirked an eyebrow in her direction. The name was familiar, but he had never been bothered to learn the names of all of Grantaire’s friends. The man was an IKEA kit who came which too many spare parts.

“Blondie,” Eponine explained.

Oh. A sly smile grew on Montparnasse’s lips, and he reached for the cigarettes he kept in his jacket.

“Blondie, eh?” he quipped, a cigarette locked at the corner of his lips. “Typical. I’m even slightly disappointed.”

Wait I'm sorry for being misinformed, but the info about Paul calling Yoko a jap tart is not true? From what i read he sent a letter to john (i think) saying this. So it's not true? (because thank god if it's not true)

it’s okay, anon. let me reiterate:

the full message – if you believe francie, that is – was “you and your jap tart think you’re hot shit” and the full quote reads:

“John obviously loved Paul enough to let him run wild if it would help ease the tension Paul was creating in the studio and at home. Yoko could see it too.

But Paul was treating them like shit too. He even sent them a hate letter once, unsigned, typed. I brought it in with the morning mail. Paul put most of his fan mail in a big basket and let it sit for weeks, but John and Yoko opened every piece. When they go to the anonymous note, they looked puzzled, looking at each other with genuine pain in their eyes.

‘You and your Jap tart think you’re hot shit’, it said. John put it on the mantle, and in the afternoon, Paul hopped in, prancing much the same self-conscious way he did when we met.

‘Oh I just did that for a lark…’ he said in his most sugar-coated accent.

It was embarrassing. The three of us swiveled around, staring at him. You could see the pain in John. Yoko simply rose above it, feeling only sympathy for John. I was sad to see the Lennons go, even though it took the pressure off of Paul.”

putting aside that you can already read the clear bias between the lines, sometimes in other retellings of the story, it’s said to be a postcard and other times it’s a typewritten message left in an envelope. the discrepancies here alone should tell you something.

now, where does the claim come from? it comes from an ex-girlfriend of paul’s from the late 60s, who he has parted not on the best terms with: francie schwartz. francie wrote a book about her relationship with paul where francie claims that while john and yoko stayed at cavendish, they received a note saying “you and your jap tart think you’re hot shit”.

why is it bullshit? i have several points to make:

francie schwartz is one of the most unreliable sources in beatles history. ask any beatles researcher worth their salt on their opinion about francie and her book. what’s more important in this particular case: she relies almost exclusively on sensational claims to make her book body count (1972) more palatable and exciting to a general and broad public instead of actual proof. other such claims include paul having been sent love letters from brian; a claim just as insubstantial and without any actual tangible proof.

first off, to get a more personal picture of francie during the time she wrote and published her book you have to ackowledge her agenda as the scorned ex-lover as is evidenced by the book itself as it displays a great deal of vindictiveness towards paul. read body count and you’ll know what  i mean. it’s absolutely vile in places.

second, the book was published in 1972 – when paul’s critical reputation was possibly at one of its lowest points – and it was published by none other than jann wenner’s rolling stone press, which very obviously chose john’s side in the john versus paul breakup era split and which back in the day had a lot of sway in the music industry. the magazine wasn’t yet the joke it was to become. something else that is interesting and slightly related: jann wenner. paul’s critical acclaim wasn’t at it lowest point because mccartney (the album) was years ahead in its day and the press just didn’t get it, but because wenner directly influenced his reviewers to slam paul for – as wenner saw it – breaking up the beatles. here’s the relevant quote:

“When I became record reviews editor, I made it clear to him after a few months — nobody had done the job before me — that the record review section was an independent republic within the country of Rolling Stone. That meant that nobody else could tell me what to review or what a writer could say. They could argue with me, but ultimately it was my decision. And that worked well. There was one incident where Paul McCartney makes his first solo record and people thought it was wonderful: this rough, homemade one-man-band album. It was accompanied by a press release, a self-interview, about why he no longer needed the Beatles and how little he thought of them … this real obnoxious statement, you know? I assigned it to a friend of mine, Langdon Winner, and Jann saw the piece and said: “We can’t run it this way — he’s just reviewing it as if it’s this nice little record. It’s not just a nice little record, it’s a statement and it’s taking place in a context that we know: it’s one person breaking up the band. This is what needs to be talked about.” I said I didn’t agree and “in any case it’s up to Langdon to say what he wants to say.” Jann said, “We have to talk about this.” So we went to dinner that night and spent three fucking hours arguing about this record review. Finally he convinced me. So I went over to Langdon’s and sat down with him and spent three more hours arguing with him until I convinced him! Now to me this was the essence of great editing, of how you put out a publication that is utterly honest. All that time spent over one 750 word review! And it was worth it.”

—Greil Marcus in conversation with Simon Reynolds,

Los Angeles Review of Books

there are other instances where wenner displays his clear bias against paul, which was especially rampant in the time where paul was hailed as the talentless and flighty hack who did nothing more than book the studio for the beatles and john as the deeply misunderstood true lyrical and musical genius behind the beatles. a narrative that was formed then and persists to this day.

third, a number of writers – including, disappointingly, doggett and carlin – have recounted the “jap tart” episode from paul to john and yoko as fact, but it’s NOT. it’s the unverified retrospective eyewitness testimony years after it happened of a very much biased, secondhand source. we’ve never seen evidence from anyone else that this event occurred. no picture, no copy, nothing. just like any other event francie “remembers”, if i might add. and since other private notes and copies from letters and even journals exist from other and more deeply involved with the beatles people, it is suspicious.

even during “lennon remembers” – also done with involvement from wenner – john himself admits that his examples of the others treating yoko badly in the studio or elsewhere come off as him being paranoid. if he had indeed a clear and very much damning example, such as this “jap tart” postcard or typewritten message or handwritten note, why didn’t he bring it up? or, more glaringly, yoko herself? when discussing why she and john left cavendish in philip norman’s paul bio, she doesn’t mention this incident at all. why didn’t either of them ever bring up this incident in all the years after it supposedly occurred?

it’s also important to point out that the narrative that paul was an absolute and continuous horror to john and yoko during the let it be era is just that: a narrative. let’s see what yoko has to say:

“After the initial embarrassment, then – um, now Paul is being very nice to me. He’s nice, and a – a very, um, str– on the level, straight sense. Like, um, whenever there’s something happening at Apple, he explains to me, as if I should know, [inaudible] and things like that. And also whenever there’s something like they need a light man or something like that, he asks me if I know of anybody in the art world, and things like that.

And like, um, I can see that he’s just now suddenly changing his attitude, like he’s being – he’s treating me with respect. Not because it’s me – but because I belong to John. I hope that’s what it is, because that would be nice. And I feel like he’s my younger brother or something like that. I’m sure that if he had been a woman or something, he would have been a great threat – because there’s something definitely very strong between John and Paul.

And, um – and probably among those three people of George and Ringo and Paul, Paul is the only one that I can sort of feel the vibration [from]. Like, sort of sense it, you know, that something is among that. ‘Cause Ringo and George, I just can’t communicate. I mean, I’m sure that George and – I’m really sure that they’re both very nice people, but that’s not the point… I think that’s because being, uh, [because of John, Paul, and me] being air signs, like Libra, Gemini, and Aquarius.”

another point is the nature of the source itself: francie didn’t – at least as far as we know – write any of these instances down, be it in her diary, or even in a letter to her mother, with whom she stayed in contact during that time. all of which would have made the claim more credible, as those would have been never intended for public view and subsequent consumption as her book was.

she wrote them in her memoir, something she wanted people to buy, and there has been discussion that wenner encouraged her to promote the “sex and dissension” between paul and her and paul and the beatles in her work, because that’s what would sell and ensure publicity.

lasty, i’ve seen another valid point brought up: linguistics. “hot shit” is something that is more an americanism – francie is american – than something used in the late 60s by someone of liverpool descent.

tl;dr: francie’s claim is unfounded and to this very day has zero (0) proof to it.

i’ll include another good quote about the issue under a read more should you be interested.
