Victoria Vincent is an animator-illustrator who creates worlds we wish we could live in. Her style and humor are unique and personal, and we can’t get enough of it. Also, we would love that cat to cut our hair.
“I currently don’t know where my life is going, but I feel like I’ll always be making art in one way or the other. I’m still learning and changing every day.”
Sherlock, a long-time sufferer of insomnia, is forced to share a bed
with John at a hotel while on a case. To his astonishment, he finds that
spending the night next to John helps him sleep and becomes determined
to maneuver himself back into John’s bed.
When John’s left arm becomes paralysed after a car accident, Mary asks
Sherlock to take him back to Baker Street to recuperate, as she’s about
to give birth. Despite the fact that the search for Moriarty is ongoing,
Sherlock takes John in and takes responsibility for overseeing his
rehabilitation as he adjusts to the loss of his arm.
Back at the flat Sherlock threw himself down on the couch, limbs akimbo,
throat bared, one wrist placed strategically over his furrowed brow. He
moaned, but not too loudly, just under the threshold of noticeably
dramatic. He unbuttoned the top three buttons of his shirt with his
other hand, making sure that John had plenty of chest to explore.
Exploration was good. Exploration was highly encouraged.
He shouldn’t have done it. John knows this. It’s was a
horrible infringement on Sherlock’s privacy. But Sherlock had been
‘borrowing’ his laptop for years, and it was just a peek, John had told
himself. If Sherlock hadn’t wanted him to read his unpublished blog
posts, he wouldn’t have raced out of the flat, and off to Barts without
shutting down and locking his laptop first.
John had justified this wrong every way he could conjure, and in the end there is only sick, twisting regret…
Sherlock and John find comfort in each other’s arms, but as ever with
these two, it’s not your typical relationship. It’s fluffy at the
beginning, gets deeply angsty in the middle, gets porny at the end.
Tried to cover all my bases.
