In honor of everyone begining their prom dress search I was feeling sentimental and wanted to post a few throw backs from prom last year. My all time favorite dress, wish i could get the chance to wear it again.
Okay so after going through my Sabezra tag, I came across some Sabezra headcanons I came up with a while ago, and I really wanted to write something for it. I also included @eyeloch‘s headcanon that touching hair is intimate on Lothal, so I kind of build up to it, and Ezra actually telling her about it and Sabine being aware of it and cautious, careful not to touch his hair…at first at least.
It’s got lots of fluff and I hope y’all like it! I even considered having Sabine call Ezra an endearing Madnalorian term but I liked the ending as it was and couldn’t remember that one I had seen before that I liked *flops* Also, I don’t know if Mandalore has any canon traditions but…that braid thing just happened and I like it too much to get rid of it haha
Cully’s Short and Sweet Line-less Tutorial (Pt. 2) Hair
So I decided to go ahead and do a part 2 for the part one which covers hair. My warden is great for this because she has very unique hair with braids and a ponytail and almost always wears flowers in it.
I decided to try something new with this picture and I thought I’d go ahead and share it with you!
Step 1: Hair Flats.
Try not to get too intricate with this part. Just make it as much the general shape of the hair as possible. I unfortunately went a little too nuts and regretted that later.
Step 2: Hair detailing.
I did something a little different this time and took a page out of Britney Lee’s book (you can see my hair reference there in the corner :P) and actually created a whole other layer and color for hair detailing. This was all done with that same Blair Brush from the first tutorial at differing widths. I also didn’t like how her hair fell at the front in the first one so I changed it.
Step 3: Highlights, shadows and more details.
All I did here was give the base a shadow and add highlights to the light parts of her hair. Note though, you can add highlights to the base portion I just decided not to. I also gave her more wisps because wisps are cool.
Step 4: Flower Power!
Now time to move on to the flowers! My warden always wears flowers in her hair as her trademark so it’s time to add them.
First thing I do is create the base of each flower all on the same layer in the same color.
Step Five: Color Flowers:
Using the lock layer command (the little lock symbol at the top of the layers bar) we can lock the flower layer and begin to color them each individually. I tried to keep it simple but you can be more intricate if you want. Honestly its not necessary as I used the flowers in Aisling’s hair to simply give it some splashes color since it’s gray.
And that’s it for hair!
If there are any questions feel free to send me a message, I’m all ears and not so great at making tutorials.
