unicorns exist believe

so heh like,,,what is the last unicorn,,,for a long time i thought it was something made up that i heard in a tv show as a child but im learning tonight its,,,a real thing???

It is!!!

The general premise is that a unicorn learns that she is supposedly the last unicorn in existence. She doesn’t believe that she could possibly be the last, and sets off on a quest to find the others.

It’s an amazing book and a superb movie. The book was written in like, the 60′s I think? And the movie came out in the early 80s. It’s an interesting story, and it is mind-blowingly beautiful to watch. Plus, ya know, there are unicorns. And tons of other mystical creatures - harpies, magicians, talking skeletons who drink from empty chalices, a sorceress, an angry reclusive king, a tree with big tree tiddies (you think I’m joking, but I’m not joking), talking cats, a ghostly bull made of fire, dragons, everything you could want.

Seriously, I highly recommend it. It’s one of my favorite movies, and one of my favorite books.

Unicorn: That cannot be. Why would I be the last? What do men know? Because they have seen no unicorns for a while does not mean that we have all vanished. We do not vanish. There has never been a time without unicorns. We live forever. We are as old as the sky, old as the moon. We can be hunted, trapped…. We can even be killed if we leave our forests, but we do not vanish. Am I truly the last?

20 Questions:

Rules: Answer 20 questions and tag 20 amazing people you’d like to get to know better.

I was tagged by @shortiemcbealle …and so many other people that I’ve forgotten who. I’m a terrible human.

Name: Sarah

Nickname: Not very many to be honest, but generally either Sar or my bestie calls me Sar Bear.

Birth Month: October (best month to be born, innit).

Height: 5′4″ (Boots {the British pharmacy} once told me I was 5′5″ - liars)

Ethnicity: British (controversial, I know…but until the collapse of the union I shall continue it. Stupid Brexit).

Orientation: Horizontal, always (though the world tells me between daylight hours I should be vertical – rude).

Favorite Fruit: Strawberry. Nom.

Favorite Season: SUMMER. Give me the heat. Oh, wait…I live in Britain. Damn.

Favorite Book: ‘1984′, Orwell is the best. That and ‘Speak’ by Laurie Halse Anderson, that book…

Favorite Flowers: I can’t eat flowers, therefore they hold no interest…tisk.

Favorite Scent: When I was a teenager we moved house and my mum had a lavender bush out in the front garden. She wouldn’t allow me perfume until I was ‘old enough’ (classic mum excuse - it should be noted that I’m still ‘not old enough’ and I’m 31) so I used to steal buds from her lavender plant. I still do it when I go home.

Favorite Animal: Horses…and unicorns. They exist, I believe.

Favorite Beverage: Fruit squash.

Average Hours of Sleep: There aren’t enough hours in the day for me to accurately answer this. I sleep a lot, and not enough because life dictates that I have to get up and be a ‘living being’…but I’d like to sleep more.

Favorite Fictional Characters: -insert ‘The IT Crowd’ joke here- *The Elephant Man…* But seriously; Winston Smith and Melinda Sordino (including Mr Freeman, her art teacher) from my favourite books respectively. Eponine from Les Mis, come on Marius! Seriously. Sigh. Eleanor Douglas from Eleanor and Park. Maurice Moss (have you tried forcing an unexpected re-boot?). Lister, Rimmer, The Cat and Kryten (Red Dwarf). Diaz from Brooklyn 99 and Claire Fraser (ofc, who I wish was my spirit animal, but I’m nowhere near that useful).

Number of Blankets You Sleep With: A duvet that a random security man found for me (what a gem, some people in life will genuinely just help out a stray teaching student in immediate need) and the most beautiful quilt that @outlandishchridhe made for me.

Dream Trip: Australia, g’day! (Though Buzzfeed told me it was South Africa based on the type of syrup I like in my latte or something or other, who knows, but anyone with Facebook will know that if Buzzfeed says so it must be true. Therefore I’m also 7′6″ and 21 years old)

Blog Created: 1546, the renaissance was more enlightened than you might think.

Number of Followers: Probably more than I deserve, have you not got tired of me yet? *Mwah*

I assume this has done the rounds a million times so I won’t tag anyone…I try not to be an annoyance. ❤❤

Several months passed from that one eventful night and by the time a year had rolled around, your relationship with Jiwon had changed drastically.

You two were still best friends, sharing gross inside jokes, constantly competing in video games and bickering over the littlest things. Nothing about that aspect had changed at all and you were certain that no force in the world could break your friendship apart.

However, things took an extremely divergent turn when the sun set.

That one night was supposed to be a one-time thing, never to occur and never to be spoken about again. You and Jiwon both knew this as clear as day, however, whenever you two were together, your bodies too close and your gazes too long, this fact failed to be acknowledged. One thing led to another and soon enough you found yourself having sex with him at least twice a week. That’s how much he needed you and your warm body in his arms, the softness of your lips against his skin and your sweet moans in his ears.
