Hello! Sorry I’ve been inactive for the past week – I’ve been coming home tired and feeling sluggish and I don’t know why ;;v;; I think I should try getting some proper sleep this weekend (usually I only get 3-5 hours a night) ;;v;;

The amber liquid burned on its way down, but it only made you want more. You motioned the bartender for another, then another, then another. Before you knew it, the bar was closing.

You stumbled your way through the doors, reaching for your keys only to be stopped by the bartender. As soon as he took your keys away from you, a cab stopped in front of the bar and he was helping you in. You didn’t refuse his help, and you accepted your keys with a smile before he closed the door for you.

The cab driver asked for the location and you had managed to mumble an address before the dark surrounded you. Your head was greeted with the cool window and everything became a blur.

When you woke up, you were tucked in a bed. Your heart squeezed in your chest as you looked around only to find a bottle of aspirin and a glass of water on the nightstand. You took the pills and laid back in bed, allowing yourself to fall asleep again.

“Y/N?” a familiar voice said calmly, shaking you. “Y/N, I need you to wake up now.”

Your eyes slowly opened and you found your face in your pillow. Looking up, your eyes connected with another pair and, for a split second, you were relieved. “Jared?” you muttered.
