ugh this movie is so good!

A Werewolf Boy (2012) || Legend of the Blue Sea (2016)

So like Arianna Dumbledore is an Obsurus, right? I mean it would totally make sense. In Deathly Hallows Aberforth describes Arianna’s powers “turning inward” and “exploding out of her” after the muggle boys attacked her. It would also make sense as to why Grindlewald knows so much about them, as he would have witnesses first hand the power of an Obsurus while he a Dumbledore were friends.

Ugh this is such a good movie to make us think like this again! I feel like a kid again, wondering what will happen next!!!

grease live truly was Iconic……. like it skyrocketed jordan fisher to fame, had carlos the best member of big time rush as kenickie, keke palmer made a bunch of racists really mad, aaron tveit wore tiny shorts, vanessa hudgens was a really good rizzo and gave an amazing performance, jordan and aaron sang a surprise love song that everybody loved, the whole production was fantastic and felt like a big budget movie, the reviewers said jul*anne racist h*ugh was by far the weakest link,,,,,, so many aspects that made me so happy

Friendly reminder that for all the critics bitching about how "sombre" and "gloomy" WW1 film Wonder Woman looks like...

CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER wasn’t exactly a parade of colors and humor and laughter and jokes either.

The ONE time the MCU made war film, they didn’t treat an actual historical event that resulted in countless deaths and atrocities with a light hand and audience disrespect - so neither will the DCEU.

Stop acting like humor and light-heartedness is the measuring stick for a good comicbook movie. Not everything in life will be better off handled with a laugh. Some things just ARE sad and heartbreaking, and no amount of “humor-washing” is gonna fix that. IT DOESN’T NEED FIXING, it needs RESPECTING.

So yeah, rather than arguing about how Wonder Woman lacks color and laughter like a good ole MCU film - think about how sullen and sombre Steve Rogers was during life circa WWII. Ask yourself why that was. Shit will make a whole lot more sense when you do.

Colin Farrel and Ezra Miller’s side of the movie was so interesting and Ezra stole the show for me. Their dynamic was super uncomfortable but soooo interesting and well-acted. I wanted to see more of it.

Colin was so charmingly evil and watching the movie, I could totally see him as Grindelwald. I could see this man tricking the Wizarding world and charming young witches and Wizards to his cause. I could see Dumbledore falling for him. That’s why I was so disappointed when at the very end they replaced him with Johnny Depp. Colin was soooo good and convincing and charming and ugh why did they replace him?????? With Johnny Depp of all people????

I’m just so disappointed. Ezra and Colin and their characters’ storyline was the most interesting part of the movie for me, and then it turned into the worst part.

i just ugh rey solo is literally such a perfect concept?? it fixes so many issues and then some

han’s life and legacy lives on

the skywalker bloodline doesn’t die out with a patricidal villain

han and leia’s epic love story is not tainted by one evil child

a profound bond is established between the main hero and the main villain of the trilogy, like all star wars movies

there’s actually a compelling and sympathetic motivation for ben’s fall to the dark side

leia gets to have one good thing in her entire sucky depressing life goddamit

rey gets to meet and bond with both her parents and a chance to save her brother

we finally get to see a mother and daughter relationship in this damn franchise

please lucasfilm wake the fuck up

Eliza Recommends pt 3
