I’mmm still real messed up over little Caligosto here…I do wonder what his younger self would think about his grown up self’s actions….and I wanted him to interact more with Raz, since Cali’s sanity seems to be the most intact in his childhood; you do find his moral compass there, after all. Also I just wanted to get that poor kid a hug in some way aaaa
I think it’s interesting (in the most bitter, horrible way possible) that with Mr. and Mrs. Loboto trying to get rid of a “monster”, they really just ended up creating one. :T World’s worst parents everyone!
Ahhhhhh I managed to finish this! My friends @redenne and @vreemdear-draws have recently got me into playing Fire Emblem and highly recommended starting with Awakening. I’m honestly enjoying it so much and fell in love with Chom from the first cutscene so I’m playing the game as a girl, but Oliva gives me so much life and is so cute!
I wanted to draw her in the midst of dancing looking all swishy and lost in dance but ugh, she just looks hella seductive haha! I FEEL KINDA BAD BECAUSE SHE’S SUCH A SWEETY AND I FEEL LIKE I’VE MADE HER A VIXEN!
Has THE WORST teeth ever, second to maccready. They are just gnarly and crooked due to genetics and never having braces. It’s something he’s a little sensitive about.
He’s very short, the shortest out of all the companions.
He lost one of his toes after a wild party during his early years of mayor.
He has accidentally consumed human flesh on more than one occasion.
Because of this he’s very picky about his food, where it’s from, and who prepared it.
Has actually tried to go sober once but he ended up using not long after.
He gets emotionally attached to people very easily.
He’s someone that contemplates hard on a situation rather than blindly rush into things. He knows any action he takes or not will lead to consequences and he makes sure he had a plan to deal with it.
He’s always wanted to ride in a vertibird.
Since he started taking chems to deal with stress he finds other ways to relax difficult or too time consuming. It just feels off to him, he used to the stress simply melting away with a single huff.
After traveling with sole he does make an attempt to lower his Chem usage (a little).
The news of his brother hit him HARD. He was fucked up for weeks and disappeared for a while to “get some shit figured out or whatever”.
When he came back he was ruffed up and worn out. He started acting normal afterwords but It was easy to see he was simply putting on a facade.
He likes traveling with sole because it gives him a chance to visit the slog and check up on the ghouls there.
He cried when Arlen got the holotape of his daughter and told the sole how she died.
He’s not as “big” as he and everyone else claim he is. He’s average , maybe a little above. But he is talented.
He may fight dirty but he has a rule to not take shit like that too far. He’ll trick people, set em up, call em out, all that crap but he’ll never “hit people where it hurts”. People’s sexuality, race, gender, etc are all no go territory for him in a fight even if they are an enemy.
Doesn’t really smoke or drink that much. Mostly just chems for him.
He has a bad self harm problem that used to be much worse. Fahrenheit protects Hancock from enemies and himself.
He thinks the whole “zombie” thing is kinky.
He believes a lot of conspiracy theories to be true or at least a possibility.
He always loves to hear people sing. Magnolia especially.
Ok so I’ve seen some posts about “uneccesary Langst” around my dash and about “treating him like a punching bag” and I have some opinions on why it isn’t really that bad.
I do believe that it is not good to treat Lance as a punching bag for the plot but it depends on the person. If someone does it to relive trauma from the past/present, then it should be okay.
If someone writes triggering content about Lance going through that stuff because the person has gone through the same thing; it should be okay.
I wrote a fic about Lance kind of being a rape victim, (it was vaguely said throughout the story) because that’s what I’ve gone through, I write that stuff to vent.
I write Lance going through abuse, depression, etc, because it’s my way to cope through all that stuff.
I enjoy reading that because it feels like I’m letting the negative emotions dissappear.
It’s maybe something called “uneccesary langst” but it shouldn’t be treated as something bad.
I went through all that sh*t and I still am, if I don’t write that crap down onto a character, then I probably would’ve been dead by now.
It’s a coping mechanism, don’t make people feel bad for something they can’t help.
Just because it’s something uneccesary for some, it doesnt mean it is uneccesary for others.
