ugh mads

Today, a group of Muslims leaving the mosque from taraweeh prayers on this holy and beautiful month of Ramadan were hit by a vehicle by a white TERRORIST. He isn’t mentally ill, he chose to run into innocent people but the media will never let you know. Pray for the Muslim families and the tragedies of minorities that become silenced by the media. Praying for these families

Edit: the media now is covering it, the British media is doing a much better job this time around at clarifying it’s an act of terrorism. The US news isn’t doing that well at highlighting all the points. Also understand that condemning him is the first step in a long battle to retain justice for those Muslims that were injured and the 1 that was killed.

I simultaneously love and hate Sebastian Stan with my entire being because he’s like this absolutely gorgeous and unattainable guy you dream about and can barely believe he’s real but then he drinks starbucks coffee and he stays up in the night fighting mosquitoes and rips tags off shirts and makes holes in them and wears them still and honestly he’s just so goddamn #relatable i just can’t even

“the Civil Rights Movement was peaceful”

Bitch where?

Because I remember learning about Freedom Riders being killed, endless lynchings, dogs and hoses being set on children, and four little girls who died in a church bombing.

Oh, but I guess all that matters when you’re trying to use MLK to silence people talking about resistance now is to talk about this idealized image of how shit got done in the past.

The Civil Rights Movement wasn’t peaceful. It wasn’t nonviolent. Not for the people trying to fight for a right to be recognized as humans worthy of empathy and freedom.

The people fighting for their rights were subject to violence all the time and threatened.

When you talk about how peaceful that movement was as a way to silence or shame people now for anger at current injustice, you’re saying that your grasp of history probably begins and ends at “I have a dream”.

With thanks to @stuffedart who is probably sick of me by now. Although I went much more low-key because I’m a coward  shy (⸝⸝•́દ•̀⸝⸝) I don’t think I’m gonna upload these to dA for exactly that reason.

I also decided to throw in flower language even though it doesn’t really have anything to do with anything.

Oak-Leaved Geranium for Papyrus, which is “True Friendship”
Ox Eyes for Sans which is “Patience”
And Amaryllis for Frisk which is “Determination”

I wasn’t sure what to do for backgrounds…

They’re transparent :)

so when I went to go see It again no one in the audience seemed to care when Ben kissed Beverly and woke up from her trance, but when Bill kissed Beverly, everyone broke out into applause. can someone please tell me why my son Ben was ignored?? Ben, the boy who helped carry the plot. Ben, who did all the research on Derry. Ben, who told the losers’ club about the tragedies in Derry. Ben, who ultimately saved Beverly. can we please show some love and respect for this boy the same way we love and respect the rest of the losers’ club?

The Kryptonian Necklace

I’m cringing.

She gave away her last tangible reminder of Krypton to the man who’s already taken so much from her as a person and character. Her own mother’s necklace; gone.

Mon El didn’t deserve that necklace. It serves no purpose to give it to him. He’ll remember her without it.

Is this symbolic of how Kara’s spotlight and plot were also given away to a worthless, bland, slave-owning character that served no point this season?

DO NOT THROW ANYTHING ON AN IDOL!!
It doesn’t matter if it’s just a stuffed animal, a banner or anything else. Do not throw anything on them. It’s understandable that you want them to find and play with your stuff but don’t aim at them. Throw them on stage when no one is around.
Chanyeol might have brushed it off today and acted all cute, but you don’t know what might happen in the future. Someone might get hurt so please stop aiming the idols/ throwing stuff on stage.
