Francis Picabia (French, 1879-1953)

Picabia dabbled in a variety of different styles; his art reflects the trends of his time, ranging from Impressionist to Cubist, Dada, and Surrealist. Toward the end of his life, he was creating “girlie paintings” to decorate brothels.
