NEW VIDEO: “Hearing Your Stories (& Then Surprising You!)” - to celebrate the end of my LGBTQ+ pride month #ChosenFamily series, I wanted to hear YOUR stories! So I set up a booth at VidCon where viewers could come share their stories… but what I didn’t tell them was that I was going to be behind the curtain ready to scare the shit out of them when they least expected it!
Guess who’s a Whovian? Nah, don’t guess, it’s pretty obvious. Anyway I actually forgot to upload the things I did for the convention months back. These badge designs were some from then. Thought I’d best put em up before I forgot again. Have a good day folks! I’ll be around.
Interviewer : Lets’s say you wake up, just having an off day. How do you get yourself up ?
Josh : When I’m sad he ( Tyler) will just come up to me and give me a big old hug. And then when he’s sad , he doesn’t love to be hugged as much , so I’ll bring him like a Redbull. And that’s like the equivalent to being embraced . So that’s how we basically get each other back in the groove.
Tyler: *Smiles wide and nods gently to support Josh’s words.*
NEW VIDEO: “A Matter of Life or Death: LGBTQ+ Refugees”: Being LGBTQ+ in the United States can definitely be difficult, but in some countries around the world you can go to jail or even be killed if you are out of the closet. For part 5 of my Pride Month series, “Chosen Family: Stories of Queer Resilience,” I met two incredible members of our community, Shadi (from Syria) and Sharifa (from Uganda) who went to incredible lengths to flee their home countries to avoid persecution. You’ll love them.
