Summary: You’re caught in a time loop during the 11 days leading up to the RFA’s party unless you can do… what, exactly?
13+. Small spoilers for an event common to Yoosung, Seven, and Zen’s routes.
Busy week so this chapter’s a little later than usual, but it’s also pretty long. Thanks for reading!
You glance up at the security
camera above the door to the apartment as you shift your grocery bags to one
hand so you can type in the passcode. Briefly you wonder if you ever make eye
contact with Seven when you look at the cameras. Well, you doubt he’s keeping
an eye on them 24/7. Maybe he just has it set up to notify him if a stranger
comes by or something. The only stranger you can think of doesn’t seem to have
any trouble hacking the security feeds, though… Ugh.
There’s a click as the door
unlocks and you nudge it open with your hip, using your foot to shut it behind
you as you enter the apartment. You flick the lights on and give the desk a
wide berth on your way to the kitchen to set your groceries down on the
counter. You didn’t buy much – there’s hardly any point in stockpiling ingredients for
later – but you do have a few
vegetables, snacks, and other foods now. At the very least, you never have to
worry about something going bad before you get the chance to use it.
Somewhere deep in your purse,
your phone rings. You set down the milk you were about to put in the fridge and
dig around in your bag until you find it, barely glancing at the caller ID
before swiping to answer. “Hello?”
“It’s me.” His deep voice is
Leo, being in college, manages to get a semester abroad to study- in China. He stays with Guang-Hong’s family while he’s there and the two study together. (Though some days it’s more making out than studying). Even given this though, Guang-Hong is frustrated. The difference in their two countries’ ages of consent means that Leo won’t go any further with Guang Hong despite the fact that the Chinese teen has been over the age of consent in China for 3 years. Leo wants to wait until the other is 18, the age of consent in the US, but Guang Hong is making it difficult to hold back. (Leo gives in about a week from Guang Hong’s 18th birthday)

The oxen’s slow, rollicking pace leaves Nozomi plenty of time to appreciate the scenery as she gazes out from her perch in the wagon, squinting past the dust and dirt kicked up by wheels and hooves. Her roiling stomach and nerves are forgotten in the midst of her awe; Lady Ayase’s lands are absolutely stunning.
I heard a song that made me think of you, but I guess they all do in some way.
I can’t even cry anymore it hurts so much, I think my body is in shock.
I wonder if you noticed that I haven’t sent more than one text to you in two days, probably not though.
I have been staring at my phone waiting for something, even though I know you’re asleep and it won’t come.
Does it ever stop hurting, the feeling of being forgotten? I just want it to stop hurting.
My hands have typed a text forty different times, but I know better than to send it, you don’t care anyway.
I’m just so tired, I don’t even remember how it feels to not be tired anymore.
I miss you all the time, but I feel it the most at night when I can’t sleep.
