I’m staying in South Florida for vacation and my place is 10 minutes away from Ben Siegel Reptiles so I went there yesterday and I got to see Medusa and a two-headed Red Eared Slider!! Definitely one of the best days of my life.

So like, in the initial inking you can see the fish I drew are basically indistinct doodles.

Afterwards I did a bunch of photo referencing and drew up actual fish, because they are all genetic designer fish and clones they are a mix of contemporary fish like Neon Tetras and Lionhead Goldfish and some naturally occurring oddness such as the two-headed turtle. Then I added some extinct and prehistoric fish to complete the bunch. Also and Axolotl because adorbs. 

…That was a lot of fish talk.
