“I’m so hungry,” you growled softly, a network of veins crawling to life beneath your eyes. Your whole body ached with a hunger only blood could satisfy, your fangs piercing lightly into your dry tongue.
You stood in the forest, surrounded by bright green trees, your boots sinking into the rich soil beneath your feet. It smelt of pines and fresh air, but all your mind could do was spin with the urge to feed. Rays of feeble sunlight trickled from the dark clouds that hung low in the grey sky. You tried to be good because you didn’t want to hurt anyone, but you were a newly turned vampire, and animal blood only soothed your cravings slightly. You’d promised everyone you had everything under control, and they’d all bought it. Everyone except-
You heard the whoosh of somebody appearing behind you, and turned to face a cocky looking Kai.
“You can always try the human diet,” he offered. “Running away from me won’t make you any less hungry.”
His lips twitched slightly, forming his familiar & smug smirk. His blue eyes glimmered, his defined cheeks rosy, brown locks smoothed perfectly atop his head. He was stunning, yes, but…
“Kai, you hurt people, and I can’t do that,” you replied firmly.
“Oh don’t play so innocent,” Kai teased. “I know you’re not the perfect girl you pretend to be.”
You felt your heart miss a beat momentarily, and you swallowed the lump in your throat with a little shake of your head.
“Leave me alone, Malachai.”
“But you’re so much fun, princess,” he smiled, licking over his pink lips.
You rolled your eyes and turned away, waiting for Kai to leave.
“Look, I know why you might not trust me,” he started softly, with genuine concern.
Your eyes fluttered closed, while you tried to block out the sound of his voice.
“But I promise you I can help you through this. I won’t tell anyone that you’d been lying to them, (Y/N). Just, please…let me be the good guy for once.”
You took in a deep breath, the veins under your eyes fading momentarily.
“You don’t get to be the good guy, Kai. Because you’re not a good guy,” you hissed under your breath, refusing to look at him.
In a second, you were thrown backwards, your back thudding roughly against the sharp bark of the tree behind you. You yelped out, Kai pinning you firmly in place, his aroma overwhelming you, his eyes dark with anger.
“You know what, you’re right,” he breathed over, his voice low. “I’m not good, but neither are you. And don’t give me any of your bullshit, because I know the girl you are, the one you’re scared to show to anyone else. You’re a vampire now, and vampires kill. And as much as you might deny it, I know your pretty little mouth wants to be engulfed with the flavor of warm blood, and with your emotions heightened, you must be dying to try all the dirty little things you’ve never tried before,” he purred huskily.
Your chest rose heavily, eyes flickering over Kai’s annoyingly perfect features. It was impossible to think straight with his chest pressed so hard into you.
“You’re wrong,” you lied.
“Awh, really?” Kai murmured, his blue eyes drinking you up. “So if I did this,” he said, trailing his slender fingers between your thighs, “you’d feel nothing?”
It was insane how much electricity you could feel through just the whisper of his fingertips, and how you noticed each individual goosebump arising under his touch.
“N-no,” you stammered, with little result.
“And this?” Kai hummed, his hands firm on your waist as he brought his lips gently to your neck. His mouth grazed over your skin, tongue gently swiping over your exposed flesh. Something inside of you stirred, and you involuntarily released a quiet moan.
Kai stopped, squeezing your hips lightly, his lips coming to your earlobe.
“That’s what I thought,” he whispered.
He released you at once, his blue eyes alight with lust. Without a word, he moved to leave you, his point proven. You vamp sped up to Kai, grabbing his wrists from behind, and slamming his body straight into an oak tree before he could react. His back hit the tree trunk hard, but he wasn’t phased at all, the look in his eyes knowing. Your hands trembled slightly, strands of your tangled hair toppling across your eyes. You stared at the malicious bad boy, feeling stupid for the way he made you crumble so easily. You bent forward, touching your forehead to his, eyes locking with his blazing blue ones. You breathed in Kai’s overpowering scent, dark veins crawling across your face as you inhaled. Your heart thrummed loudly, the only thing you could focus on being Kai’s fresh warm blood.
“Do it, (Y/N),” he dared, as if reading your thoughts. Kai raised a wrist to your parched lips, and your fangs sprung back out at once. “You know you want to.”
Without a second thought, you seized Kai’s wrist, bringing it straight up to your hungry mouth. Your fangs sunk deep into his flesh, and the taste of him instantly flooded through your lips. Both your hands came up to pin his arm harder into you, and you groaned in pleasure, your hands trembling from the need for more.
Kai brought his right hand up, and pushed your head gently into the crook of his neck, where he held you lightly. You could feel his cool rings against you as he brushed his fingers through your locks softly, cooing, “that’s right, sweetheart, keep going.”
You nuzzled into him, the taste of his blood like a drug, the hunger inside you somehow only growing, not yet satisfied. Kai’s mouth hung open, and he let out a soft moan, the sight of your fragile form in his arms too much for him. His eyes grew dark with hunger, veins crackling beneath them. You whimpered against Kai’s wrist before releasing him, your eyes black, his blood leaving a red mess all over your mouth. Kai looked over you with adoration, a lopsided smile on his lips.
“Are you hungry?” you asked him when you saw his eyes.
“Not for blood,” he grinned, his tongue flicking over his fangs.
Kai seized you by the waist and flipped you onto the leaf strewn forest floor, so you grabbed his ankles, throwing him down beside you with a laugh. You whooshed onto his chest, straddling his body and bending over his lips to kiss him before he could react. He responded at once, hands flying up to grab your ass, tongue sliding into your mouth and fighting for dominance with yours. Kai sucked the excess blood from your mouth, a growl emanating from his throat as his lips worked with more force. His faint stubble brushed over your skin, and he squeezed your backside roughly as his lips molded perfectly against your own. You could feel Kai’s large bulge growing beneath you, and your hands instantly reached for his belt buckle. You tossed Kai’s pants off, and then literally ripped his shirt from his chest, your mouth peeling from his to dive into his rippled front. You trailed your tongue down across Kai’s chest before leaving sloppy kisses all over him, brushing your fingertips teasingly across his boxer line. Aggravated by your control over him, Kai flipped you onto your back, peeling off your own clothes, his breath heavy as he delved into your breasts. His name toppled softly off your lips, your head rolling back as he squeezed, sucked, and bit at your flesh. His lips attached around your nipple, and your hands went sliding into his hair as you held him there. The knot in your stomach grew tighter, the wetness between your legs increasing with every second. Every little thing he did to you was filled with so much more intensity as a vampire, and it felt good. Kai removed his mouth, leaving little kisses all down your belly and to your underwear. He hooked his teeth around the lace, removing the fabric easily before taking off his own boxers. Your eyes drifted down to his length, your eyes widening, the lump in your throat growing. Kai caught you staring, and did another one of his smug smirk’s.
“Ohhh,” Kai sighed, two of his fingers rubbing circles gently against your clit. “I’ve wanted to fuck you senseless from the moment I laid my eyes on you.”
You trembled slightly, eyes flickering over Kai’s sculpted features, “so do it.”
Kai’s eyes flickered back to your face, and he chuckled with delight. “And I bet you’ve wanted that too,” he purred.
“Please Kai,” you begged with impatience. “Just-”
“Just what, babygirl?”
“Just fuck me,” you pleaded, mouth watering at the sight of him.
Kai smirked, looking pleased, “I’ve broken you, haven’t I? Why haven’t you shown me this side of you before?” he asked seriously.
You closed your eyes, “I-Kai…”
“Tell me,” he whispered.
“I’ve been dead for three weeks now, and your somehow the only one who made me feel alive. I didn’t want to let those darkest parts of me feel for you, but I just…can’t,” your voice cracked at the end. “I need you so much, Malachai Parker.”
He looked you over, his eyes softening with adoration. And then, slowly, he gave you what you wanted. Your eyes rolled to the back of your head as he entered you, his length stretching you wide open. Kai’s hands moved to your hips as he began to mercilessly slam his hips into you over and over again. You cried out in pleasure, a layer of sweat gathering on your forehead.
“You’re-so-” Kai panted, “tight for me.”
Just the sight of him and sound of his voice was enough for you to want to go over the edge. Kai dragged out the next thrust, pushing into you at an excruciatingly slow pace, his mouth hanging open as he groaned your name.
“More,” you begged.
Kai moved one of his hands to your clit, rubbing vigorously as he began to quicken his pace again, finding your spot in no time. Your hands flew to his back, nails dragging across his flesh as you bounced harshly beneath him. Your breathing got heavier, body convulsing as your screams hit a high, your words ragged.
“FUCK,” Kai groaned, his head falling forward as he gave a sloppy final push, his come instantly emptying into you and filling you up to the brim. Your juices mixed with his, your body still shaking. Kai moaned and pulled out, diving into you at once to clean up the mess. His tongue gave little kitten licks to your heat, his head burrowed between your open legs. Kai dipped his tongue gently once into your folds before releasing you, his chest heaving. He flipped over onto his back, his arms sliding under your body and pulling you close into his chest. You curled up against him, arm dipping under his protective hold as you listened to the strum of his heartbeat. Kai mindlessly started playing with your hair again, his eyes always on you.
“You probably think I’m weak for giving into you so easily,” you said after a long silence.
Kai’s eyes crinkled sadly at this. “No, (Y/N), you’re strong, and that’s why I admire you. You spent so long avoiding me because if we ever got even a little close, it would mean that somewhere inside of you, a part of you felt something for a monster like me.”
“What does it mean that my weakness is you?” you asked softly.
“I don’t know,” he said. “What does it mean that a ‘psychopath’s’ weakness is you?”

Request: Kai Parker x reader? (1994 prison world) Reader and Kai have an argue bent about why reader doesn’t give kai a chance. Kai leaves for a while so reader gets drunk and dancing (to “ (I don’t know why) but I do” around in her room in her underwear and bra and Kai catches her OH AND HE LEANS ON THE DOOR FRAME AND SAYS “DARLING” WHICH IS WHEN READER NOTICES HIM FLUFFY SMUT PLS THANK YOU 😊
A small and dark wooden table stood flat on the thick red rug that you and Kai sat folded upon. He wore his usual dark ripped jeans, and one knee lazily rested to the edge of the oak surface, his tantalizing blue eyes eating you up from his spot, while your legs went folding over the plush rug over each other. Pieces of hair fell over your eyes, and you twirled strands absentmindedly as you zoned out on the colorful board game pieces scattered before you whilst breathing in the musty scent of the room, and the warm gold candles that filled it with a sugary aroma.
“This is the third time we’ve played this game this week,” you sighed, picking up the small plastic button between your thumb and index finger before aiming it across the room.
“Don’t,” Kai warned.
You stuck your tongue out before tossing it straight at the heretic’s smug face, deciding you’d had enough of those pink lips and their permanent smirk like state. Kai raised a hand, a clear bubble of magic catching the little blue piece midair, before it went sinking and clattering softly to the ground.
“Naughty girl,” he cocked his head to the left, his full lips puckered just enough that it drew your attention.
You gave a pout and toyed with the hem of your violet colored skirt, “whatever.”
“Hm,” Kai observed, his bright eyes narrowing, “you’ve been talking back a lot recently, haven’t you, sweetheart?”
Your eyes darted across his own as you gave a quick scoff. “One, don’t call me names. And two, I don’t have anyone else to take my anger out on in this stupid hell of a prison world,” you groaned with a kick to the table, which sent multicolored pieces flying.
Kai ran his slender fingers through his brown locks, that cocky grin never wavering, “you’re stressed?”
“Obviously,” you rolled your eyes, now focusing your view to your chipping nail polish.
“You know, you must be tense,” he sighed with false pity, “i’m sure I could help you unwind a little.”
“Kai,” you winged, “stop doing that.”
It had been months trapped in the prison world, but Kai’s patience, though seeming to never waver, wast starting to falter. He was hungry, he craved touch, and the only person who could satisfy that hunger would never do so.
“I’ll stop when you don’t make it so easy,” he leaned forward, resting his curved jaw against his opened palms as he stared at you, the sparkle in his blue eyes winking mischievously.
You took in a deep breath, counting to ten in your head as you focused on the faint song from the record player, and the little flares from the candles beside you. When you opened your eyes, Kai hadn’t moved, he still waited.
“What do you want me to say?” you said with aggravation
“It’s more so what I want you to do,” he purred softly, flicking his tongue over his lips. When you ignored him again, he sighed. “You always say no.” His voice panged with genuine hurt, “and if that wasn’t enough, you have to taunt me every day,” he whined.
“What do you mean?” you asked, brows furrowed.
A soft groan tumbled from his lips, “look at yourself.”
So you did. You wore a cropped white tank top with a velvety purple skirt that sat high wasted with enough flesh exposed to drive the heretic crazy, your curls swept to one side and left your curved collarbone exposed, and your challenging and defiant stare and little dimples were nothing to you, but surely something else for Kai.
“Stop staring,” you snapped when Kai’s eyes had done two full sweeps up and down your body.
“Stop giving me things to stare at,” he winked with a nudge of his tongue against his cheek.
Your heart hammered loud in your ears, a tight clench grasping in your stomach, and you felt your cheeks warm as you grew more flustered under his gaze.
“Go away, Kai,” you pleaded, your eyes fluttering closed.
You felt his hand come to your cheek, his cold rings dragging against your flesh as he ran his slender fingers down the curve of your face, his thumb tugging gently down at your bottom lip. You could smell the cool and dark cologne that wafted off of his body and made your head spin, but soon it was gone, and so was he.
You stood, brushing at your body as if to wipe away the nasty thoughts that tugged at your subconscious, and as you heard the front door clack softly shut, you tiptoed to the kitchen and threw open the your favorite drawer, the one with alcohol. You grasped for a bottle of the first thing you saw, and flicked the cap off as you headed to your room. Your toes sunk into the carpet as you dragged your feet through the living room and into where you slept. You had a dark four poster draped in white silk and twinkling lights, and you sunk down to the end of your fluffy mattress as you took a swig of the alcohol, and felt the warm splash of liquid hit the back of your throat.
“Kai, bad,” you said to yourself. “Alcohol, good.”
You took another gulp, longer this time, and your face scrunched up from the taste. But the more you drank, the better it seemed to feel going down. Soon you were buzzed, warm and electric bubbles popping in your bloodstream and making you giddy. You pranced sloppily to your record collections, fumbling as you pulled one randomly out and placed it in, the lyrics and music coming upbeat and happy to your ears. A bright instrumental and warm vocal slurred together, “I don’t know why but I do.”
You began to twirl in little circles, dancing and taking quick gulps of alcohol in between as you lost yourself to the song. You tried not to think of Kai, but no amount of alcohol could do that, and you sighed to yourself, ironically, “I don’t know why, but I do.”
Then you finished off your bottle and tossed it to the side with a giggle, your feet tapping to the floor gently. “I only know I’m lonely, and that I want you only,” the music chimed. Then you were shaking your hair out around in a halo as you danced, and then strangely, found yourself pulling away your clothes. It felt better to dance like that, music full blast, and body almost bare, it somehow was freeing to prance around in only a lacy black bra and panties. You laughed and spun on your heel in a circle as the music began to draw to a close. You chortled happily, smile to your lips as you brought the music to a stop.
“Having fun?” a low voice hummed from the other side of the room.
“Wha-KAI!” you exclaimed, almost having a heart attack when you saw him standing in the doorway, arms folded over his chest, head tilted.
“Oh come on, I was enjoying that,” his throat rumbled as he laughed.
The alcohol seemed to buzz away under his stare, and you quickly tried to cover yourself with your arms, which did nothing.
Kai simply gave a smile and nod of his head, “I get it, okay? But you don’t need to be like that, you’re actually…” he paused a moment, “really beautiful, darling.”
He leaned lazily to the door frame, one hand coming up to grasp the top, other pinning his body to the entrance, and he looked stunning the way he held himself like that with no effort. But it wasn’t just that, it was the way the word sounded when it rolled off his lips. ‘Darling.’
“Kai-” you started.
“Got it,” he shook his head, “leaving.”
He turned away shadows casting over his back as he began to melt from sight, but something stirred within you, and you almost didn’t even hear yourself say it.
“Don’t,” you whispered.
“What?” he said, his back to you as he froze in the doorway.
“Go,” you breathed. “Don’t go.”
Kai turned slowly, dragging his rings slowly down the wooden frame, his head turned to look at you, blue eyes only on your face, “why?”
Then he turned, really facing you, but you didn’t try to hide yourself this time. You couldn’t find the words to say, so he shifted slightly, “did I do something?”
The smoldering smug glow he usually held was gone, replaced by a gentle and almost fearing look.
“No, it’s just…you said…” you trailed off shyly, cheeks warming.
“Said what?” he chuckled nervously.
“Darling,” you shrugged, eyes averting his.
A smile tickled the corners of his mouth, “I wasn’t aware I had this effect on you.”
You chewed at your lower lip with a shake of your head, “you’ve been driving me crazy for months, and you know it, Malachai Parker.”
“Have I?” he murmured, stepping closer, his voice lowering.
“Yes,” your heart thrummed.
“How so?” he said, stepping close enough that his chest knocked lightly to yours. He was taller than you, so his body leaned and bent over yours, endearing and challenging.
The lights that were strung up seemed to blur around his face, little stars of brightness surrounding his perfectly carved face.
“Do something,” he dared, “I know you want to.”
You took in a shaky breath that made your chest rattle gently against his, “I can’t.”
“Really?” he said, bringing his fingers to your face. Your eyes closed as he traced out your facial features gently, his breath fanning across your face.
“You don’t feel that, sweetheart?”
You gulped down the lump in your throat with a faint shake of the head.
“Mhm,” he said, nuzzling his nose to yours before dragging his lips softly against yours, just enough so that they grazed past.
“Or that?” he asked when your breath hitched.
“No,” you said, keeping your eyes closed because you knew it was the only thing stopping you from giving into him. He bent in, his dark scent overpowering as he nibbled your earlobe, “open your eyes, darling.”
And you did, and his whole body dripped with seduction. He pressed into you, and you took a step back, your backside hitting the wall, Kai’s arm flying up to pin and cage you to him. His blues eyes devoured you like they’d been starved, and just the way he drank you up like that was enough.
You barreled into his front, lips crashing hungrily against his as your hands went sliding through his soft locks, arms tangled around his neck. You took Kai by surprise, and he gasped softly against your mouth for a second, eyes widening before settling closed as he instead drowned himself in the taste of your lips he’d craved for so long, and they felt a hundred times better than he could’ve imagined. He fought back harder against your mouth, nudging his head in, yours lulling back against the force as his hands went sliding around your hips and curving around your ass. He kneaded his slender fingers into you, tongue forcing its way into your mouth, and you let out a soft little moan that vibrated against his lips and sent him spinning, a hard bulge pressing into you at once. Kai slammed you roughly into the wall, and you cried out as his lips attached to your collarbone, where he sucked, nibbled, and kissed at every piece of exposed flesh until it was raw and bruised, leaving a trail of purple marks that claimed his territory. He found a sweet nook near the tip of your jaw, and his lips to your skin, your knees quaked lightly as you breathed his name out in a short little gasp, your hands grabbing at his hair. Kai pulled back, tearing off his black shirt, a hand coming to your hip and pinning you more forcefully back as he grinded his bulge into you, sending shivers down your spine.
“God, I love the way my name sounds coming off your lips,” he breathed, placing a sloppy kiss to your already raw mouth.
“Then I’ll be sure not to say it again,” you teased through a short breath.
Kai detached his lips from yours, his blue eyes darkening with lust, “is that a challenge?”
You shrugged, dragging your lips over the bridge of his nose, “not if I win so easily.”
You knew that would drive him crazy, and it did, a dominant growl emanating from his throat as he scooped you up in his strong hold, and pushed your back onto the mattress. He threw his jeans to the side and went climbing onto the soft white quilts, but before he could take action, you hooked your legs around his belly and flipped him onto his back. He looked at you with an impressed tilt of his brow, and you smiled as you placed one leg on either side of his muscular chest, straddling him and bending your mouth into his rippled front. You trailed kisses across his jaw, then all down his chest, hands sliding over the grooves of his muscles, tongue leaving a wet trail to his bellybutton.
“Fuck,” he groaned when you got to his boxerline.
You kissed all around the hem of his boxers, sucking at his skin and making him impatient.
“God, (y/n),” he breathed shakily, “you’re going to regret teasing me like that.”
You giggled and brought your eyes flickering up to his blue ones, and he watched as you slowly pulled away the last piece of fabric from his body, revealing his already hardened length. You bent down, keeping your eyes to him as you swirled a slow circle around his tip, your small hands gently starting to stroke his member. Kai propped himself up so he could both look at you, and give you better access, and you dragged your focus back to where it was needed, mouth dipping slowly around him and taking him in as much as you could, hands massaging his base gently. He let out a long groan, his fingers resting against your head as he nudged himself further into you. But you couldn’t fit him all, so what didn’t go in your mouth, you worked at quickly with your hands, pumping him with force as his length went brushing to the back of your throat. Your lips stretched wide, and strained around him, and he, with your consent, rolled his hips more roughly into your mouth, causing him to hit into the back of your throat harder. You let out a little gag, sensitive to him, but pushed more of him in anyways. He started to release choppy breaths, growing tighter and hotter in your mouth, and you took your last chance to work the fastest you could, hands beating up and down, tongue vigorously swirling against his tip and gathering his moisture, noises of protest faintly escaping you as you felt him hit your throat over and over, making you choke as he released himself into you, his juices filling you up. You pulled off of his member, a mess of white liquid on your chin, your breath ragged as you wiped at your mouth and swallowed down his flavor. You climbed up on Kai’s chest, and he kissed around your mouth, cleaning your lips up with his tongue.
“My turn,” he breathed against your mouth before flipping you beneath him. Kai delved into your breasts, unclasping your bra, and at once bringing his lips around your nipple. His hand gently massaged you as he worked in slow circles against your left side before switching over to the right. If that wasn’t enough, his free hand trailed down between your thighs, and began to rub slowly at the fabric of your lacy underwear.
“You’re soaking,” he purred as he removed his mouth with a faint popping sound.
Then he just looked right at you, blue eyes cheeky as you writhed impatiently beneath him.
“Don’t do that, Kai,” you begged impatiently.
“Okay,” he shrugged with a twitch of his lips. “Is this better, sweetheart?”
He kept his hands to the fabric as he began to rub harshly at your panties, thumb pressed to your clit as his free fingers worked wonders against your heat. You arched your back, forcing yourself into him, but his free hand snapped up and pinned you into the mattress so you were unable to wriggle as he applied more pressure to your sensitive area.
You drew out his name in one long groan as you felt your high reach you, but before it came, he dragged his fingers down and away from you, moving his hands slowly against the insides of your thighs, his rings cold as they pressed against your skin.
“What the hell, Kai!?” you panted with agitation.
“That was punishment for making me wait earlier,” he bit his lip, thumbs hooking into your underwear and peeling them easily off.
His eyes drew downwards, and as he dipped two fingers cautiously through your folds, your head went lulling back into the pillows and you were consumed by the feeling.
“Damn, you’re so drenched for me,” he groaned, unable to resist bending into your heat and sweeping his tongue up in one motion, forcing your legs harshly open for him and gathering your taste in his mouth, stubble brushing your sensitive skin, his lips glistening when he pulled back, slow sigh releasing from his chest.
You brought your hands up, sinking your nails into his back muscles, a whine coming from you as you felt yourself twitch just from anticipation, your eyes wide with excitement as Kai positioned himself over you.
Right before he entered you, he whispered, almost inaudibly, (y/n)?
“Now’s the part where I fuck you so hard the only name you remember is mine, and you’ll ache so much you won’t know how to walk, okay?”
Your heart skipped, blushing furiously from his words, “try me.”
He pushed himself inwards, length dipping between your folds and stretching you wide, this feeling on this level being so foreign and new to you that it sent instant electricity through your blood. A profanity escaped your lips as he fully extended himself into you with one long dip, before slowly dragging himself back.
“Fuck, Kai,” you breathed, nails leaving indents into his skin, “more.”
Months of pent up longing and hunger went into his thrusts as Kai began to work himself faster inside of you, growing even wider and putting more strain on you’re dripping heat. You’re face tightened, a gasp of mingled pain and pleasure filling the air, and it hurt so good you saw stars. You tried to keep your eyes to Kai, his sweaty face and brown hair plastered to his skin, his parted lips and jaw that tilted to the sky, but it became harder to see as his thrusts pushed harder and clouded your vision with black.
You squealed his name faintly, and Kai demanded through a shallow breath, “louder.”
Your hands went flying to your mouth as you tried to refrain from giving him satisfaction, which only made him work harder for what he wanted, as you suspected. Each one of his hands came to a side of your hips, and he gave a short pause, taking in one long breath and looking you over with a look that told you you’d made a wrong move, and then he began to mercilessly fuck you. His hands pinned you into the sheets and held him still as he slammed himself into you over and over and over, your nails drawing lines down his back as you screamed out for him, the bed violently shaking, your eyes rolling back.
“Again,” he commanded, “louder.”
You couldn’t even speak properly, but in between thrusts, managed short and choppy breaths of his name. As he found your bundle of nerves, you felt yourself tighten around him, your eyes slamming shut and vision going black as your body began to convulse and spurt your juices. But he didn’t stop, didn’t give you a break to get over your high, he just kept going, a loud slap emitting with each time he hit your entrance. You gasped for oxygen, unable to even function as he continued to pound into you ruthlessly, hitting his own high and driving you through your second. You screeched his name as he came, filling you up to the brim, and his head went rocking back, mouth tilting as he sucked in air and twitched inside of you. As he pulled out, your instinct was to curl up, your body still quaking from it all, but he held you there as his mouth moved to your heat. You twitched away, so sensitive that his mouth to your clit sent shocks into you. But Kai nuzzled his nose into you and insisted on cleaning you up, giving soft kitten licks as you remembered how to breathe. He gave a noise of consent in response to your taste before climbing up beside you on the sheets, and rolling your body straight into his warm chest.
“How do you feel?” he mumbled into your skin, leaving little kisses all over your face.
“Numb, raw, achy,” you breathed softly, burrowing your head into the crook of his neck and breathing in his musky smell.
“Good,” he sighed deeply, gently caressing your cheek.
You tilted your jaw up, and sure enough, those blue eyes were fixated intently on you, just like they always were.
“That was…” you began, searching for the word you wanted.
“I know,” Kai finished with a little smile when you didn’t continue. “I know, darling.”
There was a rasp of knuckles against the glass window pane, and an unmistakable smile winked out at you in the darkness as you tiptoed towards the source. You grabbed at the wooden frame, sliding the window up and cocking your head silently at a mischievous looking Kai Parker. It was two in the morning and he was alert and awake as ever, wearing a jean jacket over an old tee with black skinnies, his dark converse covered in the dirt from your garden. He giggled with contempt when met with your exasperated expression, to which you shushed him with a signal of your finger to your lips. He rolled his eyes and extended his arm for a hand, even though he was very capable of getting in without your help.
“What are you doing here?” you said, closing the window after him and quickly shutting your bedroom door.
“Cute room,” he ignored you, looking at the white walls covered in a patchwork of photos and glowing string lights.
“Kai,” you urged.
“Is it so bad for me to want to see you?” he pouted with false sadness, lower lip jutting out as he gave you those blue puppy eyes.
“I thought we agreed on no more midnight visits,” you whispered, leaning your back against the door.
“It’s not midnight, it’s two in the morning, you’re welcome,” he winked.
You ran your hands across your face with an agitated shake of your head.
“Plus,” he winked, “I like coming now, when you look really cute in your pj’s.”
You dropped your hands and gave a snort at yourself, looking over your clothes; oversized white sweatshirt, battered blue knee socks that stretched up your legs, and a messy pony that stuck out here and there.
“You do, princess” he insisted, stepping closer, the distance of your bodies clearly bothering him. He pulled you in gently by the wrists, lips planting to your forehead before he brought his arms slinking back around your waistline.
“Kai,” you bit at the inside of your cheek, “you do remember I’m living with Elena, right? As in, Elena Gilbert who hates your guts? If she or anyone else finds out about us, can you imagine what that would get me into?!”
Kai’s plump lips spread into that familiar smirk, dimples lighting his cheeks, “so there’s an us?”
You rolled your eyes, but seeing Kai flash a patient and goofy smile, chuckled in defeat, “Yes, okay, fine, there’s an us.” But…I,” your smile faltered as you pieced together a troubling thought.
“What?” Kai said with sudden worry, “tell me.” He closed the gap between your bodies, knuckles coming up to stroke your cheek lightly.
“I love what we have, Kai. And I don’t want to lose it, but if we get caught…” you trailed off.
Kai froze, his expression going serious, blue eyes saddening,”Y/N.”
“Yeah?” you raised your head, eyes meeting with his, which he promptly pulled away, his jaw pulsating lightly.
“Answer me honestly,” he whispered to the wooden floor.
You nodded, trying to catch his gaze to no prevail.
“Are you embarrassed to be with me?” he said quietly.
Your eyebrows drew together in surprise, lips tilting down, “what?”
Kai’s expression was pained as he flickered his attention back up to you, “honestly,” he said again.
“No, no,” of course not,” you murmured, fingers coming up to graze his stubble and tilt his set jaw back up to your eyes. “Why would you say that?”
He sighed and chewed at his lower lip, releasing his hold around you.
“I don’t know, Y/N,” he sighed, voice low. “But I’m not ashamed of ‘what we have here,’ and clearly you are since we’ve been playing this game for weeks.”
You closed your eyes and turned away, pacing lightly as you formulated your next words.
“It’s not like that, Kai,” you breathed lamely.
“So then what? Why do we sneak around like this all the time, I-I hate it,” he stammered, shaking his head.
You stopped in your tracks, feet planting to the ground. You raised your head, and in the reflection of the glass window you could see Kai staring at you, blue eyes glistening and slender fingers twisting at his silver rings with worry.
“I want to…” he trailed off softly, his bright eyes meeting yours in the reflection.
“Want to what?” you stood your ground, heart hammering away.
“I want to hold your hand,” Kai whispered, approaching you from behind, his fingertips coming to graze lightly against yours, sending electricity through your blood.
“I want to tell you how beautiful you are,” he flushed rose, tracing a pattern against your opened palms.
“I want to bring you flowers,” he said, swishing his hand and plucking a yellow dandelion from the air before pushing your hair softly back to tuck it snugly behind your ear.
He stepped around to stand in front of you, both of his hands cupping your cheeks as he held your face in his hold, eyes darting over your features as you breathed in a shaky breath and lost yourself in his soft aroma of pines and spice.
“I want to kiss you,” he whispered, brushing his parted lips on the tip of your nose.
“I want to do all these things with you all the time, without having to feel scared, without having to hide how much I love you,” he said. “Because I do love you, with every beat of my dead heart, I love you.”
He stared at you, gaze intense, waiting for a response, but your words seemed frozen in your throat. He dropped his hands, taking a step back with a gulp, “but if you don’t feel like that…”
“I do,” you cut him off, taking him by the wrists and bringing him back to you. “I’m not scared to be caught because I’m scared of what people will think of me, I’m scared to get caught because I’m scared of what they’ll think of you. I couldn’t care less about judgement against myself, but if they found out, do you think they would be happy for us? I’m supposed to be ‘the good one’ you know, the one who always does the right thing, and you’re-”
“The psychopath,” he finished quietly.
“No, but you’re not,” you said, tilting his face to yours when he tried to turn. “You were outcast for something you couldn’t control, so you put these walls up because nobody would let you in. But I did. I saw a boy who was abandoned and abused to the point where no one could see him for what he was; the most clever, witty, charming, and compassionate guy I’ve had the privilege of falling in love with. But they don’t see that, and I hate it. I hate it because it means they would think you were a bad influence, because they would try and take you away from me, or hurt you, and I don’t ever want to think of a life without you in it, Malachai Parker.”
His lips trembled, tears escaping from his eyes and rolling across his sculpted cheeks.
“You love me?” he murmured, almost barely audibly, as if the thought alone was unbelievable to him.
You bounced onto your tip toes, catching his tears with little kisses before planting your lips softly against his own.
“With all my heart,” you smiled softly.
Kai smiled faintly, unable to speak as he practically flew into your arms, wrapping you in his embrace, arms firm around you as you nuzzled your face into the crook of his neck, his hands gently pulling through your locks, cool rings brushing against your flesh.
“What’s wrong?” you said into his skin, eyes closed.
“I’m happy,” he assured, “I just don’t know how to show you how thankful I am.”
“For what?” you said, brushing your lips against his jaw.
“For you,” he said.
You blushed furiously and pecked him on the lips, “you can start by being my boyfriend.”
“I like the sound of that,” he smiled against your mouth.
“You sure? I didn’t scare you off just now?” you asked.
“I’m sure,” he said, squishing his nose against yours. “I’d do it all for you.”
She sat in the middle of the Salvatore living room, a warm log fire crackling behind her and sending up flickering orange embers. She was in the middle of the lounge, legs folded over the plush carpet, head bent down in concentration, a thin layer of sweat gathering across her brow. She wore old and ripped black skinnes with a plain white tee, her hair tied up in a messy knot atop her head, strands sticking out here and there. A series of curse words tumbled off her pouted lips, her eyes fluttering open as she growled and grabbed the unlit candle in front of her before promptly sending it flying across the room and smashing into the wall. She breathed in the warm and woody scent of the open room, coming to her feet and narrowing her eyes as they landed on a concerned looking vampire.
“What do you want?” she snapped at Damon before blowing a piece of hair from her eyes.
His dark hair was messy, smoldering eyes avoiding hers, glass of bourbon in hand, as usual.
He pursed his lips, fingers fidgeting, obviously nervous as he responded, “I know you’ve been having some trouble getting your magic to work…”
“And?” she stood her ground, toes sinking into the fluffy carpet.
“I know I can’t really do anything to help you,” he started.
Her brilliantly bright eyes narrowed, and she bit at the inside of her cheek with worry, “you didn’t.”
“He can help you.”
Her heart dropped in her chest, anger flaring as she took three strides forward with her eyes locked on his shameful expression. Suddenly, the glass in Damon’s hand exploded, sending shards everywhere, and liquid pouring across his front. It sliced red into his skin, which healed itself at once, but didn’t wipe that shocked look off his face.
“You still want to tell me you have everything under control?” he growled under his breath.
She turned her back to him, eyes closing as she took in a deep breath, instant guilt settling in, hands running agitatedly through her hair.
“Look, Damon, I’m sor-” she turned back, eyes coming open and landing on someone who was most certainly not a Salvatore.
Kai was bent against the wooden door frame, arms folded across his chest, blue eyes drinking her up with a flick of his tongue against his rounded lips. He wore a dark tee with a bluish grey flannel, and it matched those eyes, she thought. His hair was perfectly smoothed up, eyebrows raised as a familiar smug expression settled across his infuriatingly perfect features.
“Kai,” she growled.
“Don’t sound so happy to see me,” he said sarcastically with a roll of his eyes.
“I’m not,” she insisted.
His eyes narrowed, and he smiled to himself, “mhm, sure.”
“I have this under control,” she said, eyes pulling away from his.
“Say it one more time, and you might actually believe yourself,” he chuckled with a couple steps forward.
She clenched her jaw, and it pulsated lightly as she did her best to keep grounded.
“Aw, did I make you mad?” he said, picking up on this as well as the flare of her cute little nostrils.
“Leave,” she breathed, refusing to look at him.
“No,” he responded, coming closer to her, only a few steps away now.
“LEAVE,” she demanded, the fire in the grate flaring up to twice it’s size as she said it, her anger flooding into her magic without ease.
Suddenly his hands were on hers, fingers locking gently around her wrists, the familiar buzz of magic from his skin sending electrical currents into hers. As he held her, he worked her through the rush, and the fire slowly sunk down, resuming it’s natural glow and flicker after only a second. She took in a raspy breath, eyes opening again to meet Kai’s, her body going into overdrive from the close contact.
“I’m sorry,” she said again, gulping down the lump in her throat.
His lips twitched lightly before splitting into his familiar and goofy grin, “your emotions,” he smiled, dimples lighting his cheeks.
“What about them?” she asked, aware that his hands were still resting against her flesh.
“They’re all over the place,” he said. “That’s why your magic has been all over the place. Your emotions make you have this lack of focus that either results in you doing too little or doing too much.”
“Oh,” she said with disbelief.
He shook his head and dropped her wrists with a chuckle, “you can’t stand when I’m right.”
Kai waved his hands, and the broken candle reformed and zoomed back into place on the carpet, still flameless. The girl sunk onto her knees to sit on the carpet, and Kai towered over her and walked circles around her like predator after prey.
“Light it,” he commanded.
She shot a glare up at the heretic, who only winked in response. Sighing with exasperation, she focused back on the candle, mind buzzing as she urged a flame to appear, feeling more hopeless by the second when it remained stagnant. She bit her tongue, trying again and taking a sharp breath in when absolutely nothing happened.
“That’s what I thought,” Kai said, stooping down to her level.
“Going to mock me?” she hissed.
“No,” he blinked in surprise, sounding genuinely honest.
She didn’t say anything, she only pursed her lips and gave a small nod.
“Relax,” he encouraged softly, “don’t work yourself so hard.”
Kai trailed a finger in the air, and as he did so her hair came undone and went spilling in loose waves across her shoulders. Then he traced a little swirling motion with his slender fingers, which caused her shoulders to settle and body to ease into relaxation. The pressure on her chest seemed to lift, the heat inside of her dissipating. He nodded, approving of his work and smiling at her adorable and confused expression.
“Good,” he said, moving around to come behind her.
Kai got on his knees behind her, the tiniest of gaps between their bodies as he sunk into her back, hands wrapping around her body from behind and sliding up her arms, cool silver rings grazing her skin as his fingertips drew gently to her palms.
“Close your eyes,” he breathed soothingly, “and try again.”
So she did. Her eyes closed, fingers separating as she took in a deep breath. But as she did so, Kai’s overpowering scent entered her lungs, and her mind instantly went into a haze as she drowned in the smell of pine trees and dark spices. His soft flannel wrapped around her as he did, and she couldn’t help but find herself wanting to bury her face into the cozy fabric that pressed into her. Worst of all was that feeling of his chest pressing hard into her back, his heart thumping softly as his breath came trickling across her skin.
“Y/N?” he asked, giving her wrists a gentle squeeze. “What’s wrong?”
She tried with all her might to ignore Kai and get the flame to spark, but it wouldn’t budge.
“I’m having trouble…focusing,” she mumbled under her breath, eyes closing as she gave another attempt.
She could almost hear the smirk in his voice when he responded, “why’s that?”
She tried to formulate a clever response, but was met with nothing, so chose to ignore him. She shook her head, eyes narrowing as she embraced Kai’s closeness rather than getting distracted by it, and just like that-
“Impressive,” he smiled.
A flame burst to life, flickering gold and red and dancing side to side.
She let out a happy little giggle, “it worked!”
“See? Your emotions,” Kai persisted.
“Or I just figured it out,” she said to the candle, fully aware that Kai was still wrapped around her.
“Magic is driven by emotion, little witch,” he purred softly into her ear, “and if you don’t believe it when I say it, maybe you will when you feel it.”
Kai’s voice had dropped low, and her eyes latched to his momentarily, her head turning to the side as his eyes darkened. The heretic pushed his hands further down, so that his fingers now came lacing through her own, his magnificent blue eyes darting between her own eyes and lips. He bent in closer, force fully pressed into her backside as he breathed across her skin.
“It can be driven by joy, anger, sadness, and even…” he trailed off.
She swallowed the lump in her throat, heart hammering as he dipped his lips inwards.
“Desire,” he finished.
He let her make the decision, which she didn’t think for two seconds about before delving into his lips. Her mouth came crashing against his, a new wildfire starting, but this one inside of her body. Kai squeezed her hands as he rocked his hips lightly into her backside, earning a soft noise of approval from her. He liked the sound a lot, he wanted to hear it again, he thought. Their lips worked in sync, fast and hungry, but this position not being enough for her, she flipped the heretic onto his back and climbed over his chest, straddling him as she shook her hair back and brought her hands sliding across his chest. His hands went flying up, cold rings to her flesh as he went about seizing her head and forcing her back down to his lips, her own hands finding their way into his brown locks. Each brush of their flesh sent a wave of ecstasy like magic into each other’s bloodstream, the need to taste and feel it all rising in their chests. She rolled her hips softly against him, causing Kai’s mouth to fall open, at which point her tongue found it’s way into his mouth. Kai growled with hunger, mouths refusing to part as they both kissed until they had no breath left, each waiting to see if they could hold out longer than the other. His hands went sliding around her thighs and squeezing them roughly, about to hook into them when the two were suddenly aware of a burning sensation. A huge ring of fire had erupted from the candle alone, the magic bursting out from her because of her hunger and lust being all over the place, and it now swarmed their bodies, engulfing the carpet and crawling closer. The girl cursed, having no idea what to do as she stared at the fire with panic, but then she felt Kai’s slender fingers trail across her cheek, and she looked back down at him. He signalled to take a deep breath with him, so she did, closing her eyes and focusing on him, opening them soon after to a fire-less room. Kai blinked up at her with admiration, a proud smirk forming on his lips, blue eyes crinkling with knowing.
“Caroline, you’ve been my friend, my conscience, my sounding board. You saw light when all I saw was darkness. You saved me from despair. You told me once that I would fall back in love without realizing it and that’s what happened. Day by day, bit by bit, year by year…with you.”
“I’ll kick his ass if you want me to"Damon mumbled as he joined you, as soon as you heard his voice you pace quickened and your eyes started to roll. You had just had an awkward conversation with your ex-boyfriend and Damon was obviously in the audience.
"You’re in a bad mood you just wanna kill somebody"you hissed quietly as you stopped next to your locker.
"Well yeah, seeing that just put me in a bad mood"The older Vampire answered as he rested his hand against your open locker. Damon’s arm was lifted so the bottom of his shirt revealed his toned body.
You shook your head and peeled your eyes away, trying not to look at how attractive he was.
"You don’t even go to high school Damon"you furrowed your eyebrows and turnt to face him, not realizing how close he was.
"What’s your point?"he shrugged as he watched you clutch your books to your chest.
"My point is well-my point uhm- my point is what are you doing here?!"you exclaimed as Damon reached over, carrying your heavy books.
You and Damon continued to walk down the hall, side by side. Recently you and Damon had been having a lot of those moments. Walking side by side, investigating things together. Bickering.
"I’m checking up on Stefan"Damon smirked.
"I’m not a liar"he protested.
"Stefan isn’t even in town, and you know that because you were the one who drove him and Elena to the train station"you smiled up at the handsome man.
"Okay yeah I was checking up on you"he exclaimed.
"How sweet-what do you want from me?"you hummed.
"That’s rude I don’t want anything I just wanted to see how your day was going"Damon gasped.
You knew that Damon was right, he was just checking up on you, recently he’d made a habit of it.
You would often find yourself stumbling out of bed at 2am to open your bedroom window for Damon, just so he could send you back to sleep. He would sometimes sit in your rocking chair, or he would lay beside you stroking your hair until you were lightly snoring.
He would catch you at bars, Damon sat alone normally but when he caught a glimpse of your smile he would throw a wink at you. Beckoning you over to the booth where the two of you would sit for hours, drinking until you were hiccuping your own name. Then he would escort you home, making sure that your house was locked up before he left you to sleep.
Even down to the small things like a walk in the park, you would walk alongside each other laughing and joking about all the funny things Caroline had said that week. When you were around Damon you were at ease.
"Damon, you know you can go right? I know how much schools annoy you"you chuckles.
"No it’s fine I’ll stay a while"he shrugged.
"Seriously, Damon my class is literally behind you and I’m kinda late”
“Okay well before you-before you go to-Uhm”
You watched Damon in amazement, was he was nervous?!
“Do you wanna come round for pizza?"he sighed with relief finally getting his words out.
"Uhm okay sure"you said slowly, surprised at Damon.
"Okay cool I’ll pick you up at 6"he nodded as he was slowly walking away.
"6 is cool"you furrowed your eyebrows, confused at why things had suddenly gotten awkward.
"Wait Damon you drink blood you don’t eat pizza?"you asked.
"But you eat pizza and I’m up to trying new things?"he stated, truthfully.
"Oh how considerate"you smiled.
"It’s a date then"he smirked.
"It’s a date"you mumbled before disappearing into your class, the teacher was moaning about how late you were but you werent listening instead you were smiling brightly at how awkward the two of you were.
