tv: ugly betty

Why don’t we talk about Ugly Betty more? It’s a show with a woc protagonist, a large focus on her Mexican family, with a diverse cast including a gay guy, a successful morally ambiguous African American lady, and a trans woman (albeit played by a cis actress), which critiques high fashion and the media for holding up unfair standards for female appearance.

Like seriously sometimes I wonder how this show even exists

Or maybe one day something just changed inside you in the way you saw that good friend, causing you to want her to be more than, well, just a friend.
