tv: nikita

“I’ve always been an instinctual sort of person so I just kind of left and I’m very blessed, so I was able to meet a woman who really took me in. I mean, I wouldn’t… I wouldn’t be here without her. It took place in Hong Kong. She took me in, I slept on her floor, she bought my food. [On how she met her] somebody gave me her number, I called her and I randomly went to her office and I just said, you know, "here I am. I’m a broke student, I don’t know what to do.” And she said, “well, let’s see what happens." Maggie Q’s Audience Surprise on The Late Show with David Letterman.

Alexandra “Alex” Udinov ⇉ Nikita (2010 - 2013).

My father was gunned down in front of me when I was thirteen years old. I was sold into slavery, but I lived. I came out a drug addict, but I got clean. I’ve killed dangerous men, and I’ve watched people I love die in my arms. You wanna know what I am? I’m a survivor.

I firmly hold the belief that TV writers have fanfiction accounts.

You know for secretly writing out what they wanted to happen but the network didn’t want to see or testing out how the fan’s reactions would be.

It is a brilliant thing to do and it is good to know that that theory is getting more credibility as the months pass on.

Hold On To your Heart

It’s weird they chose to talk in a church and not sitting next to each other, a very sad scene anyway. The setting caused fans to speculate they had secretly got married (an idea I love). Maybe Nikita was seeking divine answers to her dilemma or the strength to not to do bodily harm to Operations and Madeline.
