To start this off, I am a closeted transguy from Louisiana, and I would like to communicate through email. I am not sure what my personality is, but some words I would use to describe myself are respectful, loyal, hard-headed, and adventurous. When it comes to politics I lean to the left, but will try to stray from talking about it unless I’m cracking a joke.

My interests are computer sciences (I am learning Ruby), running on my school’s cross country team, exploring nature, and drawing. I like to try new things, and to better myself; the things I enjoy are my priorities, and all else gets put off.

I love to read books, even though I don’t have much time to. I’m currently halfway through reading Harry Potter (I’m a Hufflepuff). My favorite authors are Douglas Adams and Neil Gaiman. I am not much of a fanboy, but I do like to talk about things like books and shows every so often.

Sorry that this is so long, but I wanted to cover as much as possible.

Preferences: I would like to talk to a guy who loves cats, is not racist, homophobic, or transphobic, and can tolerate the word y’all.

There sure has been a lot of racism in the media lately. Between the Charleston church shootings, Obama using the N-word on TV to make a point about racism, the Confederate Flag debacle in South Carolina, FOX News…just FOX News in general, and now Don Lemon holding up a sign with the N-word on CNN, racism is a hot topic…again! The reality is, it never went anywhere. The quote above, from “A Different World” (Episode “Cats In The Cradle”, from season 5), held very true in 1992 when it aired, and it holds true today in 2015. Racism doesn’t seem to be going anywhere. Neither will sexism, homophobia and transphobia. That’s society for you…

Here is the analysis of THE VOLTRON SPOILER from my experience as someone that works in television and has seen those type of “text burn in” on video countless times before

1) (upper left) obviously happens at 13 min 55 sec into the episode.

2) (lower left) the episode is final, because the word LOCKED mean : it’s locked, it’s final, we’re not touching it.

3) But they touched it again, recently, because it’s written “updated april 18th”.

4) this looks like a voice booth, yes, but also the file look like a file we send either to a musician or to the sound mixing studio (h264 is a type of video file that is used by both, we produce this video file format every single day to send to musicians, sound studios, producers and networks for approbation, etc.)
My bet is on the sound studio.

5) Sadly, the episode number that should be written before the word LOCKED is hidden by the mike.

6) (upper right) the number 162_tk1 probably means : 162nd shot in the episode, take 1. Don’t take my word on this one because I only worked with animation shots once in my life, I usually work with normal tv shows.

Aaaaand that’s all I have.
