tv show: smallville

Can we talk about how when Lois Lane first appeared on Smallville, it was Clark that was objectified and running around naked. Not that I agree with objectifying either women or men, but it’s such a huge deal. Like, what other television series in that time?????

Smallville: Every story has a beginning...

October 16th 2001: the day we met Clark Kent.  Not the one we were used to, but a much younger version of him. And from that day on, for ten years, we’ve followed his path, his journey to becoming the greatest superhero we all know: Superman.

Smallville is the show that has started this superhero genre on TV, whether you like it or not. It was with Clark, his friends and foes that this entire universe became what it is today. For a decade we were able to be introduced to a lot of the characters that nowadays are on our screens every single week.

And as a Superman fan since my early days, I have followed this show throughout its ten seasons, facing the ups and downs of it, living every moment as it should be lived. So if there’s one thing I can say for sure is that I grew up with Clark, Lois, Chloe, Oliver and so many others as well.

So on this day, when we celebrate the 15th anniversary of the series premiere I decided to pay my tribute to my favorite TV show ever: Smallville.

My wallpapers are simple, but I just wanted to share with you most of the reasons that made me fall in love with Clark’s journey. It was amazing!!! Thank you Smallville!!!
