turbo-s

Hello everyone! Welcome to night fifteen of this year’s Wreck-it Ralph Pin Post Month, and part four of this year’s pin set week!

As part four of the Sugar Rush Racers pin set, we have the limited edition, DEEH, DSF/GSF, Sugar Rush Racers, King Candy, Wreck-it Ralph, LE 300 pin.

One thing I really love about King Candy pins is that every once in a while the designer will throw little hints to his true identity into the pin. The hint here is a very simple gesture, but the part of the signature pose Turbo makes when he’s faced with victory. The thumbs up King Candy is giving us right now, a hand gesture that no other racer in this pin series uses besides the disguised “greatest racer ever.” Just thought that would be a little fun detail to point out, and whether or not it is actually a hint towards his true identity really is up to us to determine.

Now for the pin itself, the Sugar Rush Racers pin set wouldn’t be complete without the king of the racers. This pin is the second smallest in the series, though certainly makes itself seen with its appealing color and attention to detail. Just like with the other karts in this series, the designer did a wonderful job at recreating this kart with all the details shown in the movie. The glitter element in this pin seems to be more prominent in this pin then the others, though this may be because of the creamy white colors of the kart and the spinning wheels. It really is a beautiful kart and a well designed pin.
