Tumblr pulled down his blog. His rampant anti-Semitism and racism had to be addressed. This (!) is how a social media platform should respond to people promoting hate speech and entertaining violence against other racial groups. Twitter should have done that with Trump’s profile long ago, especially because he’s also using the site to promote false and misleading information. That makes his profile as dangerous as the profile Tumblr took down. I thank the Tumblr staff for taking swift action as they always have. Consider this a warning issued to any blogger who promotes hate speech and calls for violence toward people on the basis of their religion, ethnicity, or sexual orientation.
you know it’s Really Funny to me when shitty ppl on Tumblr shut down any post that suggests ways for mentally ill ppl to get help, or tips on how to feel better, or just simple things like ‘get up! shower!’ and ALWAYS, ALWAYS there’s some dumbass who comes in like 'lol neurotypicals’ like.
Listen to me very clearly: You Have No Way of Knowing Whether Or Not Someone Has A Mental Illness Or Not.
Not everyone has a 5 page long about me on their blog or some url like “bpdpearl”. Not everyone talks about or feels comfortable talking about their mental illness all the time.
Like it’s so annoying that the second anyone on this site makes a post JUST trying to help others they get shut down by some 14 year old who got a WebMD diagnosis for god knows what saying “lol silly neurotypicals xD’
I think the worst thing that fandom culture and the increasing acknowledgement of fandom culture from creators has wrought is this
incredible amount of entitlement that people in said fandoms get like
just because creators know something is a thing in a fandom doesn’t mean they have to do it or else they hate their fans. It’s a consistent thing I’m seeing more and more in fandoms and it’s getting worse. Like all the steven universe garbage that’s happened over that show’s run and now overwatch like
people are wishing other people dead because a robot ninja and an angel woman are dating. and there are people who are legit horrified at the sheer concept of characters being straight and I’m just sat here wondering how they can possibly tolerate real life.
the fact that people get so entrenched in what they perceive as author approval when their ships and headcanons aren’t immediately shut down, despite said author interacting with the fanbase, that their mental health deteriorates when something contradictory is even hinted at is just sickening like
I just went on twitter and saw people legitimately wanting to kill a man on the overwatch team because of gency and like
its. not. yours.
you do not own overwatch. you do not own steven universe. you do not own anything you’re fandoming so hard over. rebecca sugar could tomorrow have pearl confess her love to renaldo and the overwatch team could make torbjornXpharah and both of them would be canon because it’s THEIR CREATION AND THEY DECIDE WHAT HAPPENS.
THEY get to decide what to do with it. Not you. It is NOT YOURS.
I absolutely think fandom/tumblr culture has led to more death threats and harassment than any other thing on the internet and I think if creators want to avoid it, the best way is to just stop acknowledging the fandoms. Because they’ll twist whatever they can get their filthy hands on so they can shit on other people and never feel remorse or grow as people because they’re doing it to be “progressive”
here’s to the women with fire in their eyes, the ones who sing too loud and love too hard. the one’s who know what they want, the ones who know how to get it, and the ones who will do whatever is needed to get it. here’s to the fighters.
here’s to the women with clouds in their eyes. the ones who hum under their breath, whose smiles can light up a thousand cities, the ones who love gently. the one’s who don’t want for much, but they will take what they do want. here’s to the lovers.
here’s to the women with cities in their eyes, cites of their very own. here’s to the ones who make things before other can even imagine them, the ones in love with creation. the ones who find what they want for themselves. here’s to the dreamers.
here’s to the women with civilizations in their eyes. the ones whose knowledge encompasses galaxies and centuries, the ones who thirst for knowledge. the ones who love recklessly and think rationally, who are the tacticians in a fight. here’s to the thinkers.
here’s to the ones who fight back, every day. here’s to the ones who persevere, no matter what. here’s to the ones who don’t take abuse and intolerance lying down.
"I know that,” I answered. “I’ve been in love before. It’s like a narcotic. At first it brings the euphoria of complete surrender. The next day, you want more. You’re not addicted yet, but you like the sensation, and you think you can still control things. You think about the person you love for two minutes, and forget them for three hours.
"But then you get used to that person, and you begin to be completely dependent on them. Now you think about him for three hours and forget him for two minutes. If he’s not there, you feel like an addict who can’t get a fix. And just as addicts steal and humiliate themselves to get what they need, you’re willing to do anything for love.

I wasn’t really familiar with ice-skating, but I always watched this sport with wondering eyes. So much beautiful forms, music and costums. So the first time I heard about this ice-skating anime, I was very excited to see what they could do with it. And in the end, I would have never expected I would just fell for it with all my soul.
Thank you for this animation. Despite the certain lack of budget for some skating scenes, the most of them were just stunning. I still remember the first episode when Yuuri is skating Viktor’s program, I was hypnotized and couldn’t believe how beautiful animated it was.
But not only that, they managed to make you FEEL the skating, all the emotions through each performances. Maybe the animation wasn’t perfect all the time, but it had passion and heart.
Thank you for those characters. Following Yuuri, Yurio and the others, seeing them through their path, their struggles, their doubts, their success, their cherishing moments………….. just seeing them growing for the better. It was such a travel full of different emotions. And in the end, it didn’t really matter who was gonna win, we supported them all, we cried with them, we loved them…..and really, we will miss them….
Thank you for the music. You certainly made my eyes happy, but you made my ears melting. It was so beautiful, and I love the meanings for each of them. They made me even more emotional, it was resonating in me, my heart was beating at the same rythm. Same for the opening and ending. I think everyone is agree, but damn, how catchy they are ^^ I’m sure we’ll still have them in mind for many many times.
And of course, thank you for Victuuri. A month ago, I was waiting for this anime who would finally dare to propose a true love story between a same sex pairing, without being treated like fanservice, but just something that would be shown naturally, where gender wouldn’t matter. And even now, I can’t believe that we finally had it. As much YOI was the story of Yuuri for the Gold, it was also the story of two characters falling in love and that’s it. Simple. But absolutely beautiful. And I can’t thank the creators enough for that. Love wins!
Also, thank you to the fandom. It made me feel just so much happy to enjoy this anime with everyone. But YOI is not finished, as long the fandom is here, it will never end :) so let’s keep loving him for a long long time!!!!
“If we don’t survive this night, I will die unafraid, Kaz. Can you say the same?” His eyes were nearly black, the pupils dilated. She could see it took every last bit of his terrible will for him to remain still beneath her touch. And yet he did not pull away. She knew it was the best he could offer. It was not enough. She dropped her hand. He took a deep breath.
