Hi guys. Thought I’d talk a bit about myself since I’m coming up on 500 followers! Again, I truly appreciate all of the love, support and interest in my food blog.
My name is Lauren, I’m married and live with my husband and cat in San Benito County, California. I am a preschool teacher who commutes to work, leaving super early in the am and returning home to cook dinner at around 7:45pm! I cook all of our vegan meals. My husband is not vegan but eats my home cooked meals with me, no questions asked. I have been vegan for almost a year and a half and just recently gave up alcohol. I’ve been noticing that my body hasn’t been taking to it like it used to, so I’m taking care of myself. Im aware that with age there comes new things you need to worry about and focus on so I’m paying attention to my mind, soul and body and giving it what it needs. I also have gotten seriously back into my yoga lifestyle and feel wonderful. I do yoga daily, either on my own or with this app I’ve found for classes and message boards. Having just dropped some info on you guys, I’m more than happy to take any questions or concerns that you may have that I can help you with in any way that I can. Please feel free to reach out with anything, I’d love to help out others with their journey or curiosity or even just speak with someone on a similar path as myself. I hope you all have enjoyed this lovely long weekend, even though we were hit with a heat wave, I still managed to make time for some good times. Thanks again to you guys, much love xx
yoga is seriously the shit. i fall in love over and over and over every time i feel my toes splaying in an inversion to catch the wind, every time i feel the tiniest bit of space in my low back, every time i knead through the many deep layers of my hips. every slow inhale and every drawn out exhale. connecting with the breath beneath the thinking, judging, resisting, egoic mind may be the meaning of life.
Such a good position to help ease cramps!🙌 my body is getting better and better when it comes to cramps, but I’ve had some very awful experiences with them in the past and yoga has been so helpful to help ease the pain! 🙏
Some post- dinner yoga shots from the other day… Won’t try going upside down so soon after a big buffet meal again!! 🙈🙈🌞🌴✨// “I have been and still am a seeker, but I have ceased to question stars and books; I have begun to listen to the teaching my blood whispers to me.” ~Hermann Hesse \✨
