I miss my lake

I just want it to be summer.  I want the 4th of July parade to roll through Wolfeboro. I want to take the boat out on the lake.  I want the top down on my Jeep.  I want ice cream from Bailey’s Bubble or Pier 19.  Cake from the Yum Yum Shop.  I am starting to realize how attached to the diamond in the heart of New Hampshire I really am.

Just tried making those 3 ingredient banana pancakes.

It’s safe to say I don’t like banana pancakes. Oh and I dropped an egg on the mat in front of the kitchen sink. Can I climb back into bed now? Nope, no I can’t got to go for a walk and get ready for work.

I’m going to look at the request calendar at work and see if I can take some time off and hopefully be able to go to NH for a few days. Fingers crossed my aunt will let me go. I haven’t been in quite some time and I’m pretty sure that place is magical.

I just went on my Facebook to find this picture and I was going to just post it with a simple “ I’m coming for you” under it. Then I looked at when I posted it, July 8th 2007. July 8th was my grandmothers birthday,  I’m extremely excited to go here one last time but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t sad too. My whole childhood summers were spent there with my grandparents and I haven’t been since they have both died. I just pray it doesn’t rain all weekend. I just want to go down to the beach and take it all in one last time. Actually even if it does rain I’m going down to the beach and I’m taking it all in.

Ok off to do some last minute packing and meet up with my cousin. Have a great weekend everyone. I may or may not have wifi in NH. Then Monday I’m headed to the Cape until Wednesday and not sure if I’ll have wifi there either.

Five things that make me happy.
