Cocos Keeling Islands - Australia 

This Australian Territory is located almost halfway between Australia and Sri Lanka, in the Indian Ocean. The territory is made up of two atolls, and 27 coral islands, with a total population of about 600. 

The islands offer world class diving, snorkeling and fishing, and is also popular with kite surfers. Dugong’s can be found in the lagoon on the southern atoll. Dolphins are also regularly seen on the island. A variety of whale species can also be spotted off shore as they pass by the islands.
