In an age when little girls and boys are treated as though they are two entirely different species by toy marketers, this 1981 ad for LEGO — one of our favorite images ever — issues an important reminder.

i got this cute poppy candystick from my friend @beautifulbeardqueen but we both agreed that the paintjob was a bit not good and since i have materials for repainting i decided to try it out!! im not great at it clearly and me refusing to wait caused a bit of harm to the overall quality, but she looks nice from a distance atleast haha! sorry for the bad photos
