ElleJay’s Pony Room: Nani’s Buddha on Flickr.

Via Flickr:
This was my Nani’s Buddha statue. She was Roman Catholic like I am, but she had a deep respect for many other religions. She was (and still is) one of the greatest influences and role models in my life. Many of the pieces that made me are really pieces of her. (She put the little bonnet on him.)

For the book nerds...

My friend Helena posted this on Facebook~ I’m not sure who the author is, but thank you to whoever it is!

“I LIKE BIG BOOKS AND I CANNOT LIE

YOU OTHER READERS CAN’T DENY
WHEN A BOOK WALKS IN WITH A GOOD PLOT BASE
AND A BIG SPINE IN YOUR FACE
YOU GET SPRUNG
WANNA PULL OUT YOUR PENS‘
CAUSE YOU NOTICED THAT BOOK WAS DENSE
READING, HALF-RIMS I’M WEARING
I’M HOOKED AND I AIN’T CARING
OH BABY I WANT AN E-READER
AND A MEANINGFUL METER
MY TEACHERS TRIED TO TRAIN ME

THAT BOOK YOU GOT MAKES ME SO BRAINY"

All That Is Right with The World: Glitter Ponies

Crystalline, the Shimmering Beauties pony, (tall, deep blue one,) is my all time favourite pony in existence ever. I clearly remember shopping for her when I was 3 or 4 and didn’t realize until recently that she is an actual MLP. Shimmering Beauties are part of the Dream Beauties series of releases, and they are supposed to be what ponies look like when they grow up.
