The Library in Trinity College is the largest library in Ireland, receiving 100,000 new books every year. Its most famous book, the Book of Kells, is a 9th century manuscript, hand written by monks, and displaying intricate fonts and illustrations. 

The Libraries Long Room is lined with marble bust’s, that depict famous philosophers, writers and men who supported the college, such as writer Jonathan Swift (of Gulliver’s Travels fame).
