It reads: “Hello Natalie, Got here O.K. Was to the Palmer House last note (Thurs.) Did not get in the Empire room. My cousin works and could not get off until 10:00 P.M. So we went to the "Brown Derby” and the [unintelligible] instead. Saw the floor show and watched him broadcast Del Portnoy and his orchestra. Sincerely, Lew"
