This hike was short, two days, but so nice. It was kind of a whim that I followed up on as there was time before my 9 day hike began to Khan Tengri. Stayed two nights in a yurt, ate a lot of bread and jam, and drank black tea.
(Pakistan is home to 108 peaks above 7000 meters or 22950 ft. It also has over 100 peaks over 6000 meters or 19000 ft. It also contains 5 of the 14 highest peaks in the world as well as the second highest “K2″. It is truly the top of the world.)
➳ The most simple food becomes a luxury when you’ve walked far. Hot beans, roasted bread and a steaming cup of tea. Soaked, then frozen gloves and forgotten matchsticks are some things I advice against though.
