I talk about Jak’s growth being stunted a lot so here’s some stuff I made about a hypothetical ‘Jak’ who grew up happy and safe with his family in Spargus. ((I’ve taken to calling this alt!Jak 'sparkle boy’ because the chances of him still taking the name Jak would be next to none just please don’t tag him as 'Mar’. more notes under the cut!))
I made this bound scrap paper journal for emmajazmin‘s birthday, and it was so fun to create! I was wondering if anyone would be interested in buying similar journals?
It’s perfect for art journalers who feel intimidated by expensive pristine journals and a white page - there’s no need to feel bad about making a mess or making “imperfect” pages (they are the best kind anyway!).
Let me know if it’s something you’re interested in - they will be super cheap & I’ll probably throw in some collage material too!
During our time in Thailand we wanted to get out of the city of Bangkok and away from the hordes of tourists, in order to get a real taste for the culture of the land. And I’m so glad we did! We took a short flight up to the northern city of Chiang Mai for a two day stay at the beautiful Shangri-La Hotel, where we spent most of our time exploring the beautiful and renown temples situated in the town.
I’ve shared some of my favorite photos of the temples that we visited during our stay in both Bangkok and Chiang Mai, but the beauty in each of these structures was so absolute and so grand in the flesh that it took my breath away on many occasions. The thoroughness and attention to detail, the intricate carvings in gold and red, and the soft chanting of the monks as we made our way through each building was a tranquil and peaceful experience that is fully indescribable in words for so many reasons, but I’m so grateful to have encountered.
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend and can’t wait to share more stories with you all in the coming weeks!
