Mature female Poecilotheria subfusca “lowland”, a stunning old world species that packs a punch. I recieved a mature male today so fingers crossed for pairing them up. P.subfusca like it fairly cool and humid by pokie standards.
Overcast, breezy, dry. cold at one period. Warm now. Collected Hogweed stalks - white inside - took to pond - made dark frame with nettle and dark stalks - pinned Hogweed split open into strips - inside upwards. went to ring Art Angel - came back work disrupted by a dog - remade. Would have liked to have made it much bigger but goes dark very quickly. Not a bad work.
From @no_matter_ceramics - Took a break from throwing to get a new work space set up. There’s still plenty of glazing to do though… .

“Today we are again getting close to all those fundamental forms of world interpretation devised by the Greek spirit through Anaximander, Heraclitus, Parmenides, Empedocles, Democritus, and Anaxagoras. We are growing more Greek by the day in concepts and evaluations, but one day, let us hope, also in our bodies! Herein lies, and always has lain, my hope for the German character!”
—F. Nietzsche, The Will to Power, §419 (edited excerpt).
