Part 3

Loki sat on the couch in the avengers headquarters, reading a book as per usual whilst some of the other avengers sat around and discussed the current mission that was afoot. There were suspicions that a group of terrorists were planning a massive attack in the name of anti-vigilante protests. Whilst this was usually the government’s job to take care of this kind of thing, you, Natasha, Clint, Thor, Sam, and Steve were asked to take care of the suspected area that was under threat.

“I don’t know why Tony would send you on this mission. It’s far too dangerous” Loki had said earlier. Holding your hand gently, hoping he would never have to let go.

“I’ll be fine Loki, You know I can take care of myself” you had replied with your beautiful sweet voice.

“I know, I just worry about you” Loki responded, kissing you on your forehead before you had left him alone to wait for your return.

Loki tried to hide his concern for you by taking his mind off the problem at hand and focusing on the latest book you had given him called ‘Looking for Alaska’. It wasn’t as grand or spectacular as the other books you had given him, but he didn’t mind. It reminded him of you without making him fret. The other avengers still didn’t know about the two of you, only Thor knew that Loki had feelings for you. However, he didn’t know that he had confessed them to you.

Shower and Grime: Loki x Reader (NSFW)

Said I’d write more of it and I did! It feels kinda rushed at a certain point and I am meh about that but hope the rest is good

Hot water spurt out of the faucet, raining down marvelously on the tiled floor. You smiled, holding your hand up to it and watching the mud, mostly dried now, run off your hand before landing on the ground and swirling around the drain. The temperature would be heavenly, able to ease even the deepest aching of your shoulders and your smile widened.

Loki x Reader / OC x Reader

Anyone who knew Loki and Omald knew they were rivals. Some would even say their rivalry could compete with Loki and Thor’s and the reason, was you. Your knack with magic was lacking but it didn’t stem your love for it so, when Loki was sent to study in the library and he spotted you, he was enthralled.

You ignored him for a while, slowly allowing him small glances of your attention until he was reading to you, showing you his abilities gifting you with little things he created and convincing himself that he would never be without you. Omald came along years later, mysterious, cold and entrancing.

Finally getting this part out. It shouldn’t have taken as long as it did but my mental health took a turn for the worse recently as a result of uni work. Thankfully, I finished uni for the year yesterday. I’ve got a lot more time now so these updates should be a bit more frequent now. In the meantime, enjoy, my darlings!

I love it!❤ The whole idea is amazing. Loki and fairytales elements is definitely something I need in my life!😂

I love how Loki is such a dick still lmao

‘The Tower’ (Part 4)

Part 3

By the time you reached the top of the stairs, your calves were screaming in agony. Though the tower had indeed looked tall from the outside, it hadn’t looked that tall. The mysterious owner of the tower had long since left you behind and you weren’t entirely sure whether you were permitted to find sanctuary alone or whether you should seek permission first.

Your manners dictated that you pursue the second course of action.

That last few steps had been negotiated on your hands and knees, the weight of your wounds all but crippling you. Thankfully, the cool floor kept your muscles from failing entirely, and it welcomed you once more at the summit as you lay on your back; panting and slightly shaking, but still alive.

Eventually, after having caught your breath, you sat up and examined your surroundings. Straight ahead was a crystalline door that held a pattern akin to a clear stained-glass window. Though blurry, it was otherwise transparent and you could see the mysterious man within, sat down on something.

Using the handle of the frosty door, you pulled yourself up and limped further inside. The sight before you was exquisite.

Tricky Easter

Loki looked at his beloved and Jane. “Could you repeat that?” he asked.

“We would appreciate it if you hid the Easter eggs,” Jane said then Darcy added, “In locations where the children can find them. With your magic, you could do it in under a minute.”

“And when you say where the children can find them you mean what exactly?” Loki wondered in amusement.

“The living room and hallways,” both women responded.

“And don’t spell them to roll away when they’re found,” Darcy added.

Loki shrugged and nodded. He took the mass of filled Easter eggs and one by one they poofed off.

“Now, we have five minutes before Tony unleashes the horde,” Darcy said and plopped a bunny ears beany on, “Wanna help decorate the cupcakes?”

“Darling, we are going to have a long discussion about getting me into using my magic for mundane things,” Loki trailed off.

Darcy grabbed her second bunny ears beany and plopped it on Loki’s head. “Do you want our son to have a fun, happy day?”

“Of course,” Loki responded.

“And a day that makes him so tired that he’ll stay asleep throughout the night in his bed?” Darcy asked rather teasingly.

Loki blinked then sat down at the kitchen island. “Give me the cupcakes.”

Could you do an imagine for Loki where Loki starts off being not too nice to the reader because Odin picked you to become Loki’s wife (arranged marriage of course) and hurts your feelings but you’re still kind to him and he starts to feel awful about it and falls in love with you and fluff?

Oh, yay!  A Loki one, finally!  I can most certainly do this.  Here is your one-shot, comin’ ‘atcha!

You heard the commotion in the hallway as you rush to your door and press your ear to it.  You and your family had been informed that you were to marry the Prince, what with your incredibly patient personality and your surprising knowledge of politics inside and outside of the kingdom.  With Thor wanting to marry a Midgardian, Odin wanted someone he could approve of that would be able to guide the throne in these particular matters, as well as keep their mouth shut when told.

And apparently you were perfect.

“But she’s so…plain!  She has no fight…no spunk!  What kind of entertainment is she supposed to provide!?”

“I thought it didn’t matter who you married because they could never love a monster like you anyway,” you hear Frigga say, twisting her own son’s words against him as you grimace in distaste.

You would never dream of speaking to Loki that way.

“You bring status and prosperity to Father’s life…” you hear Loki trail off lowly.

He was so unfamiliar with you, he didn’t even realize where he was standing…with being just outside of your door.

“And she would not?” Frigga counters.

“I prize independence and intelligence over patience and understanding,” Loki spits.

Like a bad taste in his mouth.

“She is intelligent,” Frigga states.

“Of the kingdom!  Not of anything that matters,” Loki shakes off.

“The kingdom isn’t important to you?” Frigga cocks an eyebrow.

“You know what I mean, mother.”

“You are set to wed her by the end of the year.  Either find some common ground or impregnate her and take a mistress.  Either way, your father has spoken.”

Your silent sobs drowned out the rest of their conversation.

Piecing yourself together as you sigh heavily in your bathroom mirror, you smooth your dress out one last time before emerging from your room.

You had been summoned by Thor for lunch, wanting to get to know his future sister-in-law.

But when you emerged from your corridors, you were met with Loki trudging up the hallway in a huff.

And his eyes widened when he saw what doors you emerged from.

Standing with a straight back, your eyes connecting with his before falling to your hands clasped against your stomach, you begin walking lightly towards the dining area as Loki shoots his arm out, grasping your forearm and urging you to stop.

Looking up at him slowly as his eyes continue to gaze upon you in shock, he goes to part his lips for a sorrowful apology as you draw in a deep breath between yours.

“What a wonderful morning, isn’t it, Prince?  I do not know about you, but I fell asleep incredibly early last night.  What with the storm and all.  The rain was incredibly peaceful.”

You were giving him an out, and you were begging him to take it.

He continued to look upon you quietly, his grip on you releasing as he finally finds his voice.

“Quite,” he manages to say.

Nodding lightly as you turn to continue your walk, Loki turns his glance back towards your closed bedroom doors before looking back towards your receding form.

He knew he should have called after you…but he was rooted in shock.

Lurking around the corner as you hear Thor and Loki fighting, you listen in on their debacle as you keep your breaths even and silent.

“You need to take better care of your armor, brother,” Thor says.

“Not like I’ll use it anyway,” Loki lulls.

“You know you are the best fighter in our armies.  Your sword needs to stay sharp!” Thor scolds.

“It was just a spar-” Loki begins.

“And what if it hadn’t been?” Thor asks.

“I’m not that careless, brother,” Loki hisses.

Standing in the darkened corner as you continue to listen, you watch Thor round the corner and trot off, his cape flowing behind him as you hear the doors to Loki’s chamber slam shut.

You wondered if he was going to do anything with his armor.

Making your way down to the armory, you see Loki’s sword, dull as a ball and slung haphazardly on the floor.

His armor couldn’t even reflect a shadow.

So, you sat on the bench, your dress hiked up your thighs as you straddle the bench, your left arm grasping for the cleaner as your right arm searches for a rag.

And as you scrubbed your future husband’s armor, putting the care into it that he needed to, you wondered where the kingdom might keep the sharpening stone as you begin the tedious work of cleaning up his stuff.

“Finally, brother!  Some care in your daily works!” Thor roars as he clasps his hands down onto Loki’s upper arms.

“I don’t-”

“It’s nice to see you finally take some pride in your home again,” Thor murmurs lowly, his eyes grateful as Loki’s brow furrows heavily.

“Well, I-”

“His armor does look nice, doesn’t it?” you ask lightly, approaching Thor’s side as you smile lightly at him, shooting a glance over to Loki as his attention turns solely to you.

“And his sword could cut the wind in half!” he roars in delight as his smile continues to encompass his face.

But all Loki did was stare at you in realization.

“And what are your plans for this evening, Lady Y/N?” Loki asks, dismissing his brother’s jovial attitude.

“I have a project to finish,” you sat matter-of-factly as you nod reverently before hooking your eyes onto Loki’s chest.

“Will you be joining us for dinner?” he asks lowly.

“If I shall, I should probably get a head-start on my work then,” you smile, bidding the both of them a silent goodbye before turning on your heels and silently walking off.

Smiling as you trace the fine yarns with your fingers, you slowly wrap the intricate blanket in light paper before tying the perfect bow on top.

Dark green and gold, just like his colors.

Scribbling a note to go along with the present, you pull your nighttime robe around your body, hoping to dodge the night-shift guards as you meander towards your future husband’s corridors.

It had been his birthday, and the entire kingdom had a joint celebration for both the announcement of your engagement and his day of birth.

Raising your hand to knock on his doors, you look down at your haphazardly clothed body, your hair thrown up messily as you second-guess your personally-delivered present.

Your husband would want you more presentable.

So, you settled for setting the present at his door, knocking lightly before scurrying off down the hallway and trudging back down the castle steps.

As Loki opens his door, his eyes darting around in every direction before looking at his feet, he furrows his brow as he picks up the delicate present and pulls it into the room with him.

He took stock of the card attached, peeling it from the gift as he slowly opened it up with his fingers.

Prince Loki,

It is a tradition in my family to give hand-made gifts as opposed to purchased ones.  I was always raised with the notion that a hand-made gift communicated more reverence and love than anything purchased.

Loki let that idea sink in for a moment, a light smile gracing his cheeks as he made a mental note to actually meet your family.

On my parents’ wedding day, she presented to him a blanket that she had crocheted.  It had all of the beautiful yarns she could have afforded, and to this day my father wraps the two of them in it at night whenever they want to feel close.

It was then that Loki dropped the letter at his side, quickly unwrapping the present as his eyes widen, taking in the beautifully hand-made blanket as it twinkles with his colors and slides gracefully against his skin.

You had made this for him.

He had resented every part of you…and you had done nothing but take care of him.

He scrambled for the letter, standing to his feet as he grasped the soft blanket in his hand.

I know our impending wedding is not for a few more months, but I wanted you to have this now.  Happy birthday, Loki, and know that whatever path you choose for our marriage, I will always stand by your side when important.

And as Loki’s eyes trailed back to the blanket in his hand, his arms whipping it around his shoulders as he closed his eyes and lost itself in its softness, his heart fluttered wildly in his chest when he breathed deeply, the blanket strewn with your scented perfume.

He slept with it around his shoulders, dreaming of your body lying molded next to his.

How someone could still be so kind to him was beyond his comprehension.

He knew you had heard him talking with his mother that evening.  He knew that you had been the one to shine his armor and sharpen his sword.  He knew that you were the one informing his Father “on behalf of him” in matters of the kingdom as well as the armies.

He knew it was you that was staggering his meals with the kitchen, his food being brought to him when he wanted it versus when the rest of the kingdom ate it.

You had listened.  You had listened and paid attention and learned.  Whether you lurked around corners or eavesdropped on conversations wasn’t important to him…he didn’t care about how you acquired your information.  What was important was that you did.

And never once did you expect anything from him in return.

He found his eyes lingering on you.  He found himself taking longer routes, walking by your door in an attempt to catch you leaving your quarters.  He took more frequent trips to the gardens, finding you among the flowers as you trimmed their leaves and watered their children.  He watched you across the dining hall, your lips curling around spoons of soup and piping hot desserts, your chest heaving lightly as you chugged the fine wines and decadent waters.

He found himself wishing to be your dinner plate, offered to you for your undoing as you lavished your cravings in his presence.

He vowed to attempt better conversation with you in the near future.

But just as he had found the courage to knock on your doors, he rounded the corner to see the Healers carrying you away.

“What is this!?” he roars as he runs down the hallway, pushing people aside as they gather to watch your unconscious body being hefted from your room.

“Lady Y/N!” Loki roars as the Healers attempt to stop him.

“Lady Y/N!!” he screams, his voice becoming more desperate as he watches your limp hand fall from your chest.

“Come with us,” a nurse coos, tugging on Loki’s arm as she tries to get him to move.

But all he could do was roar your name, the Healers holding him back as he tries to follow your unconscious body.

Groaning as you shift in your recuperation bed, you feel something lurch up beside you as a large, warm hand curls around yours.

“Y/N?” Loki murmurs lowly, his form standing to hover over you as he dips his face close to yours.

Not all of the swelling had dwindled as you attempt to open your eyes to no avail.

It was still a bit hard to breathe as your breaths come in ragged pants.

“Calm down, beautiful.  It is alright.  You are safe,” Loki soothes lowly as he brushes your hair from your forehead with his free hand.

“Apparently, you are allergic to the sap that the roots of Yggdrasil produce,” Loki informs.

You feel your lip begin to tremble as a tear slips down the side of your face.

“Ssshhh, my love,” Loki whispers, releasing your hand as he swipes the tear away, “you are safe.”

“How did-?”

Your mind was swirling with his words as your swollen lips part to question him.

“Love?” you breathe.

“Yes,” he whispers, his breath hot on the tip of your nose as the swelling around your eyes visibly dissipates with the medication slowly being administered into your body.

It slowly became easier to breathe as you peel your eyes open, your reddened orbs studying Loki’s closely-proximated face in an attempt to read his deceit.

“There is no deceit here,” he murmurs, reading your thoughts as you swallow hard.

You found yourself absolutely speechless.

“You will be here for another night, and then you will spend the rest of your recuperation in your own bed.  The Healers want the swelling gone, and they will be sending with us specially-made tablets for you to take before you enter the gardens.  They will internally counteract the effects of the root sap so that you can continue your gardening.”

“Us…?” you breathe as you furrow your brow lightly.

“Yes,” Loki whispers, smiling down lightly at you as he begins to pet your head.

“Though, I cannot say I won’t accompany you in the garden a bit more.  Just to make sure these tablets works.”

You found yourself smiling through your tears as Loki places a light kiss upon your forehead.

“But for now, you rest,” he murmurs in command.

“I am very tired,” you admit.

“Then close your eyes,” Loki says as he sits back down, his hand curling around yours as you tilt your head to keep him in view.

“I’ll be here when you awaken,” he reassures you.

And you fell back asleep with a smile upon your cheeks.

Honeymooners Pt 4

By the time you made it back to the room, it was late in the evening. It hadn’t been the most straining of days physically, but the long car trip and dealing with your tumultuous emotions had you exhausted.

Loki yawned tiredly, stretching his arms above his head. A glow of green engulfed him and his formal attire was slowly replaced with a simple pair of black sleeping bottoms.

Grumbling, you searched in your bags for something to wear, “Couldn’t you do that for me?”

Loki chuckled running his hand through his hair, “I’ve no idea what you want to wear, not even sure if I have something that would suit you in my repertoire.”

You pulled out a lacy satin top with thin shoulder straps that looked like it would cutoff mid thigh. Holding it up, you gazed at it warily. Loki walked up behind you and raised his eyebrow. You glanced over your shoulder, “I didn’t pack this…”

“SHIELD packed everything.” Loki reminded you.

“Did they forget we’re not actually married?”

Loki chuckled softly, “I suppose if anyone walks in on us, it would matter that you look the part.”

You fumbled through the bag, looking for something more comfortable but sighed, realizing all the pyjamas were of a similar style to that one. “I can’t sleep in any of the dress clothes they got me, I’d be so uncomfortable.” You held it up to your chest, trying to imagine yourself in it.

Loki shrugged, “Curious that it’s green as well.”

You scowled at him, watching him sink onto the lounge. “What are you doing?”

“I figured you would want the bed.”

Biting your lip, you sighed, “We’re adults, we’ll just share the bed, it doesn’t matter anyways.’

Loki straightened up off the lounge, “Very well, I wasn’t looking forward to attempting to sleep on that anyways.” He crossed the room and sank into the bed, laying on his side to continue watching you. “I’d offer for you to sleep naked if you’re so uncomfortable wearing that…” Loki trailed off, smirking.

You glared at him, and searched the room for something to throw at him. Your eyes finally fell on one of the pillows and you threw it as hard as you could. Loki caught it easily and laughed, settling it behind his head as he continued to watch you.

“I’m going to change into this. At least those bastards gave me undergarments, honestly, at the rate they’re going, I’m surprised they didn’t just have me without them.”

Loki laughed as you left to the bathroom, situating himself more comfortably in the bed while he waited for your return.

You stood in the mirror, studying yourself for a long time and sighed. If you weren’t so tired, you could imagine just standing there all night so you wouldn’t have to face Loki looking like this.

Upon walking back into the room, you stopped, and posed for Loki, displaying the skimpy top. Loki blinked, stiffening on the bed as he studied you. You couldn’t tell if it was a trick of the lights or not, but his eyes seemed to dilate. Brushing it off as coincidence, you reached for the lightswitch and turned off the last of the lights. Stumbling slightly, you made your way to the bed, pulling back the covers and crawled under. The bed was heavenly, soft as a cloud and the silk sheets felt wonderful.

Loki shifted beside you in the bed, making sure there was plenty of space between you. After a moment of silence, he cleared his throat, “You look very nice, agent.” He murmured softly.

You blushed, thankful for the darkness, “Thanks Loki.”

You could hear him nod before rolling over. In the darkness, you could slowly make out the silhouette of his shoulder and see that his back was to you. Sighing inwardly, you thought of how close you were to him, how easily you could slide over and pull yourself against his back and just lay together. Of course, there would be no way of hiding your feelings if you did that, and risking such an open display of affection would surely blow your cover since Loki wouldn’t reciprocate it. For all his flirting, you were certain that he was merely teasing you, playing along with everything you attempted.

Sleep felt far away as you lay on your back, staring at the dark ceiling. You thought of Clara and Toran, how easy it must be for such a madly in love couple to get along. For you, it was merely one sided as you pined after the love of your life, the man beside you who was completely indifferent to your existence and at best tolerated you. You wanted to sigh heavily, but knew the noise would cause Loki to stir and possibly confront you.

Your eyes slowly drifted shut and you sank into sleep.

Sunlight streamed in through the window and you groaned, realizing you had forgotten to close the blinds. The next thing you were aware of was a strong arm wrapped around your torso, holding you close to a rather chilly body. The thick blankets were warm around you and actually made for a nice contrast against the coolness of the body though and you couldn’t help smile. Your smile slowly faded as you became more awake.

You cleared your throat, “Loki?”

Loki groaned weakly, face buried in your shoulder, “What?” He growled, eyes probably shut and not registering how the two of you lay.

“I can’t move.” His arm was laced tightly around you, holding you firmly in place, barely allowing you room to breathe. “Also, did you leave the remote on the bed last night? I don’t remember seeing it…” You trailed off, suddenly horrified as you blushed deeply.

Loki straightened up quickly, pushing away from you. He rolled over and growled angrily, hurrying into the bathroom. His hair, messy from rolling in the night, hung low over his face but you could see a faint tinge of red as he blushed furiously.

Moment’s later, the sound of the shower faucet running filled the suite and you rolled over onto your back, fist in your mouth as you stifled your embarrassed laugh. Loki had woken up cuddling you, and he had been the one… you couldn’t even think it, let alone say it. Something told you it would be best to not speak of this. You rose stiffly from bed, searching through your bags for clothes to wear. By this point, you were half expecting to find condoms in the bag.

Loki took a fast shower and was out in the room shortly, swimtrunks on and assigned shirt in hand. His hair was still wet from the shower as he dried it vigorously with the towel. He eyed you coolly, silently daring you to say anything.

You shook your head stiffly, “It happens.” You finally managed.

“Just go get ready, but leave your shirt.”

“My what?”

Loki sighed, “I’ll explain when you’re done, you can cover yourself with your brassiere but trust me, this will be necessary.”

You raised your eyebrow uncertainly but slowly nodded, “Alright…” Your shower was slower than Loki’s, you were certain, but you were also apprehensive over why he hadn’t finished dressing either. On top of that, you wanted to make sure that if you were going to be forced to be nude on the beach, you looked appealing. Even if you weren’t actually on your honeymoon, you wanted to look like it.

SHIELD had replaced your more practical bra with a pretty lacy one and you were concerned over the amount of forethought that had clearly gone in to planning all your outfits. Sure it made sense, blending in with the level of class expected at this resort, but still, it was finer than you were comfortable with.

You dried your hair and put on a suitable amount of makeup (also supplied by SHIELD), laughing to yourself over who the unfortunate soul was that had to purchase it to match your complexion. You wore your bikini, a towel wrap in hand, ready to cover yourself for the tram ride as you walked out of the bathroom. “Alright, what’s this necessary thing of yours?”

Loki had been staring out of the window and turned to look at you upon entering. His gaze lingered on your body, clearly not used to seeing you so exposed as he inspected you.

Loki sighed, “Last night was our first night of marriage, technically.”

Loki tilted his head, looking at you pointedly, “We consummated our marriage, didn’t we?”

“I mean yea, I guess so.”

“Get on the bed.” Loki ordered and you felt a quiver of unbidden excitement rush through you.

Instantly you were suspicious though, not sure you trusted where this was going. “What do you mean?” However, you found your legs obeying him, slowly carrying you to the bed and sitting down.

Loki walked over facing you, watching you for signs of distrust and slowly took your shoulders, pushing you back so he could straddle your hips. Your breath caught in your throat as you watched him, his face mere inches from yours. “Agent, we’re both showing more skin today than yesterday, you’re going to have to look the part.”

“What- oh…” you trailed off, eyes shut as you prayed silently for patience.

“I’ll do you first, then you can do me.”

You swallowed hard, nodding weakly at the expression. Keeping your eyes shut, you leaned back on the bed and allowed Loki to maneuver you as he saw fit. You could feel the bed sink down on either side of you as he rested his knees there, looming over you. His hands gripped your hips roughly and you squeaked as he squeezed them. Loki was careful, delicately so, because you didn’t doubt his Asgardian strength allowing him to snap your bones. At the same time, he went to work on your throat, biting down and sucking, applying the faintest pressure before laving his tongue there and cooling the bruise. You bit your lower lip, struggling against your body’s desire to squirm under him, desperately choking back a moan. At long last, Loki pulled his hands from your hips, sliding his nails up your back and raking the expanse of them. You couldn’t stop the hiss as it escaped your mouth, eyes finally opening as Loki watched you with heavily lidded eyes.

“There.” He grunted, slowly straightening up and pulling away. Loki’s chest was flush and you could see him breathing hard. “Your turn.”

Loki pulled you to your feet, taking your place on the bed and sat still, watching you to see what you would do. You turned to inspect yourself in the mirror, still breathing hard and trying to calm yourself. Your back stung, the work of his nails digging across your flesh and you knew they would still be bright red by the time you finally got to the beach. Your hips ached and you could see the redness slowly fading to be replaced by soft bruises in the shape of Loki’s hands. If this had been real… you thought to yourself sadly, noting the possessiveness of Loki’s markings, how they showed anyone who saw you who you belonged to. Once more, you were forced to bite back your forlorn smile and heavy sigh. There would definitely need to be a rebound relationship to get over this fake one as soon as you got back, and at least a month’s reprieve.

“Agent?” Loki called from the bed.

“Yea, yea, coming sorry, just seeing what you did to me.” You straightened up and walked over to him, unable to completely keep the swing from your hips as you moved.

Loki chuckled, “I tried to be gentle, I didn’t want to hurt you.”

You forced the curiosity over wondering just what he could do if he really went all out on someone, how badly you wanted to know. “Alright.” You managed, walking over and straddling his hips. The intimacy of the position threatened to send a shiver down your back but you fought back the urge. “Ready?” You took your hands and gripped his back, gently sliding your nails down his back.

Loki blinked down at you unimpressed, “Darling, you’re going to have to do more than that if you intend to mark a god.”

You scowled, “well I don’t want to hurt you.”

Loki rolled his eyes and you watched in fascination as a golden glow ran down his skin. A myriad of scars appeared, some deeper and more vicious than others but he had clearly known pain, much of it looked recent. “Believe me, you won’t do any lasting damage, certainly nothing I’m unused to.”

“Loki…” You trailed off, hand reaching out and gliding along a particularly deep gash along his chest.

Loki chuckled and moved your hand, guiding it back to his back. Once more the illusion returned and his skin was pale and unmarred as ever. “As I said, you’ll be fine.”

Tears pricked in your eyes, “That’s torture. Like, you’ve been tortured.”

Rolling his eyes again, Loki sighed, “Yes, I’ve been through actual mortal hell, a few marks from your nails won’t affect me.”

You tugged him forward, hugging him as tightly as you could, burying your face in his chest. “Thank you for sharing that with me, I can’t imagine.”

Loki’s first instinct was to pull you away, annoyed by the display, but you felt so soft and gentle pressed against him, your skin delicately brushing against his… “Agent, we have to meet that couple sooner than later.”

You straightened up, trying to get his intoxicating aroma out of your head and clear your thinking. “Right, right, I can do this.” Gritting your teeth, you reached behind him and dug your nails as hard as you could into his back, slowly tugging them down and raking at the flesh. Loki grunted, his body stiffening as you moved.

Pleased with this work, you leaned towards his collar bone and bit down as hard as you could, tongue swirling around to ease the discomfort he would feel and sucking lightly to leave a bruise. At long last, you pulled away, wiping your hand across your mouth. “How’s that?”

Loki stood up, lifting you with him and setting you down on the ground in front of him. “Marvelous, shall we go to the beach?”

Nude beach, right, that was sure to be easily handled.

Loki, Bucky, and you were the only ones left in the tower. Bucky still hadn’t been cleared for field work, and you were asked to stay because Loki decided to drop in for a visit, and no one trusted him around the tower unsupervised. Bucky kept himself locked in his room, as he usually did, while you and Loki watched movies and had takeout in the living room.

“Y/N? Why didn’t you ever fall in love with me?” he ran his hand through your hair as your head lay on his lap. It wasn’t uncommon for him to be so open and friendly when the two of you were alone.

“Huh?” you were too invested in the movie you were watching to pay attention. “HEY!” you protested when he turned the tv off.

“You have, as you say, ‘a thing’ for troubled men who are too old for you. So, why didn’t you ever fall in love with me?” his inquiry was one of genuine curiosity rather than jealousy.

“Because you annoy the hell out of me. Can we finish the movie?”

“Oh come now, darling, you enjoy my company and all that it entails.” he grinned at you.

You couldn’t hold back your own smile. “True, but your more irritating practices tend to be aimed at someone else. What’s this about?” you weren’t sure whether you should be concerned with his train of thought.

“Nothing, love, just thinking aloud.” he assured you.

“Ok, then why didn’t you fall in love with me?” you mocked.

“You’re mortal.” he shrugged, as if it was obvious.

“Yet here you are, watching stupid movies with me. Admit it, you like hanging out with me.” you teased.

“I tolerate you.” he sighed. “Nothing more.”

You threw a piece of popcorn at him. “Jerk.”

“If anyone ever heard me say otherwise, I’d never hear the end of it. Not that I’m admitting anything…” he trailed off.

“Oh my god, Loki!” you squealed as you sat up. “I’m your bestie!”

“You won’t be for long if you keep it up.” he half heartedly warned.

You never understood the need for secrecy regarding your friendship on his end. “What’s the big deal? Everyone already knows you’re my best friend. Why’s it so bad they know I’m yours, too?” It’s not as if he ever shot you down or pushed you away when you were friendly towards him in front of the others, anyway.

Loki then got a twinkle in his eye. One that you knew meant bad news for whoever was on the receiving end of it. “You’re right.” he cooed. “Once the team returns from their mission, I’ll gladly declare our status as the best of friends for them all to hear.”

“What are you doing?” you glared at him.

“And to show everyone the sincerity of my declaration, I’m going to help you get something you desperately want, bestie. The Winter Soldier.”

DEVASTATED!! Thorki. something that DEVASTATES LOKI. Crush my soul, Thor, do something awful (But don't die, omg I would cry)

{I’m sorry I am so so sorry I am VERY very sorry y u do this Story why???? }

Thor grabbed him by the shoulders and shook Loki, Odin’s false form washing away.

“Thor, I can—”

“What, LIE?” Thor roared, and spittle flew into Loki’s face.

“No, I…” Loki trailed off.

“You have but one thing to say to me.” In a cold voice he’d never used, Thor continued, “Where is my father?”

“Brother, listen?”

Thor spat, “You are no brother of mine, Son of Laufey.”

Loki reeled as if struck.

“You cannot bear the truth you yourself once claimed?”

Loki felt faint.

“It was your wish that I believed you dead. Very well. You are dead to me.”

writernotwaiting  asked:

How about "Teach me" (since there's an X Me" option)?

Finally finished my last prompt! Nsfw-ish?

“Thor, darling, would you help with the dishes?”

“Sorry mom, I can’t, I need to go study for my Shakespeare test tomorrow.” Thor waved a stack of flashcards and tried to look as rueful as possible.

“And I’m helping him,” Loki said quickly, yoinking the cards from Thor’s hand.

They ran upstairs as fast as they could before Frigga could say “no,” colliding in the doorway in their rush into Thor’s room. Thor kicked the door shut and pushed Loki up against it. He’d been waiting all day to get him alone like this. But…

“I really do need to study,” he murmured against Loki’s lips.

“Mmm,” Loki agreed, licking into Thor’s mouth.

Loki pushed Thor away with both hands.

“Alright then,” he said with the mischievous glint in his eyes that Thor loved. “You know the rules.”

“One piece of clothing off for each right answer,” Thor grinned.

“And one back on for each wrong one.”

Yay! More feels! I’m obsessed with this song at the minute and I was writing this at the same time so they sort of merged… Yeah, play it at the same time and it’ll really break your heart. Because of the video, the reader’s character essentially became Luna Lovegood - bit strange, but wonderfully eccentric. Overall a really, really fun character to write. This request was made by @wxndamaxiimoffs and I’m sorry that it is so long. Ah well; enjoy, my darlings!

Prompt: Please write one where you become good friends with Loki and Thor when they’re young, and you comfort Loki when he finds out he’s a frost giant because he thinks that you won’t like him anymore because he’s different. Thank you!

“Half the World Away”

Asgard. The city of lights. The realm of the Gods. Its people were as brilliant and luminescent as the stories they inspired.

You lived in the heart of it and always had. Your mother was a maid in the royal palace and you had been given free roam of it as a result, befriending Odin’s two sons along the way. A life without a formal education combined with access to the largest library in the realm left your mind open and free. You were on a whole other level and the youngest prince in particular found himself fascinated by your unconventional nature…

You wandered the halls with your head in the clouds, thoughts soaring the skies and focus nowhere to be seen. As you floated down the corridor, you let your hands dance through the air, fingers playing a strange melody on an invisible piano.

Your watched your hands swirl through the air with delicate interest and made each movement precise and gentle. You let yourself get lost in the silent dance, twirling and spinning and gliding along; completely away with your thoughts.

Loki’s Song (Part 3)

“When did it first appear?” Loki asked, rolling the bottle between his hands. “My Mark.”

“I was born with it.” Tony answered in an even tone, and Loki raised an eyebrow.

“Really? Born with it? That's…”

“Yeah I know. I got to hear all about what a freak I was my entire life.”
Tony wasn’t looking, so he didn’t see the flash of anger cross the other man’s face.
“It wasn’t all bad, not at first.” Tony continued. “Kids don’t understand these things, so I wore tank tops not realizing what it meant, you know, that not only did I have a mark, but it was in a language that didn’t exist.”

“My language has existed for millennia.” Loki countered but Tony shrugged.

“While that may be true, it didn’t stop my father from staring at me like I was a…”

“Do not say ‘freak’ again.” Loki warned, but Tony ignored him.

“Like I was a freak. But that’s not anything compared to how he looked at me when he discovered my soulmate was a man. That was a whole other level of…” Tony’s voice trailed off.

“Anthony…” Loki started carefully, but Tony shook his head.

anonymous asked:

♥ for The Loki/Grandmaster fic? :D

“What do you want?” Loki asked bluntly, rudely. The Grandmaster looked at him with raised eyebrows.

“Are my wants so opaque as that?” He asked. Loki pulled the sheet more tightly around himself like it would serve as a shield.

“They could be clearer.”

“The life of an immortal - a true immortal - risks boredom,” the Grandmaster said. He trailed his fingers down Loki’s bare arm, leaving goosebumps in the wake of his fingertips. “We all must find our…chosen causes. My brother gathers curiosities from across the universe, and keeps them…in trust. I seek simpler pleasures. There are enough games to be played that even I have not tried them all.”

Loki held very still, watching. The Grandmaster shook his head, plainly amused.

“You are not Aesir, pet, but you act as prudish as one. I must say I do not know why. You are the only one who suffers.”

Loki pressed his lips together so they didn’t curl. “My apologies for spoiling your entertainment.”

“Not spoiling,” the Grandmaster said. “Watching you is certainly still interesting.”

My Queen Loki x Reader

“What is this filth? A bilgsnipe wouldn’t dain to desecrate these halls.” Loki’s coat billowing behind him as he stomped into the demolished living room of the Avengers.

“Loki, stop bitching for once? We finally get to spend some time in MY realm and all we do is fight.” Hands flopping into the air in exasperation.

“Hey how’s it going transplant?” Tony asked walking into the room cocky as can be. His brown eye’s dancing with mirth at the scene before him. Tony knew Loki and yourself had an interesting development of your current relationship.

The two of you attempting something serious after the Ragnarok incident. Loki nearly dieing, forcing the both of you to admit your feelings were more than sexual. The evening’s spent up bantering about intergalactic politics and accidental touches. The attraction borderline unbearable some days.

Today was not one of those days.

“I’m fine Stark. Have you seen my cousin?” Walking over giving the man a tight hug.

“Yup Sam is running over right now.” Stark releasing you as you launched yourself into Wilsons arms. His head resting on your’s while you buried your face into his chest.

“I missed you three months is too long!” Climbing up his body placing a bite to his neck.

“You’re still so weird, glad Asgard couldn’t change you.” Sam swinging you around with a laugh.

“Do not drop her.” Loki warned Sam with a strangled glare. If he hadn’t been your cousin he would be dead.

“Nice to see you too Loki. You guys staying for Christmas?” Sam pushing your wild curls out of his face.

“Yup, we celebrated all the summer holidays in Asgard. Now we get to spend the winter and fall ones here.” Hopping down and happily walking over to Loki Sam in tow, Tony at the bar.

“Well you barely made fall, Halloweens in less than a week.” Natasha announced with her entrance.

“Are you kidding?!?” Turning to face Loki as he looked away, avidly staring at the corner of the  wall.

The room going silent as you stomped over to your lover.

“Loki Laufeyson, where do you think you get off pulling shit like this?” The entire room wincing at the use of his full name.

“Darling I simply didn’t want you to miss anything.” Loki’s first attempt at placating all week.

“Don’t lie to me Loki.” The temperature in the room dropping as your powers flared to life. Anger depending on the type either inspired scalding heat waves or desolate cold. The icy anger spreading throughout your chest causing everyone to reach for a coat.

“Alright then, I hate your diminutive and drab planet. I wanted to stay longer on mine.” Ever since Thor pardoned him, his status had risen in Asgard to an acceptable level. His desire for earthly visits diminishing with your acceptance to spend time in Asgard.

“Ugh, excuse you but who came here trying to rule the drab and diminutive planet?” Loki flinching at the truth his green eye’s flaring while he gritted his teeth.

“While that may be true-” Throwing up your hand as you walked away. Stopping Loki mid sentence was the most sure fire of pissing him off. Right now you wanted him to seeth.

Loki turning his hand into tight fist’s as you walked away. Blustering away out of the glass doors that led to the balcony. He stopped momentarily to send a pillar of green energy into the skyline of New York.

You were sick of blatant arguments with Loki. Yes, you bantered and occasionally sassed each other about things, that was all in jest. Peace of some kind was all you wanted.

Honest disclosure, Loki and you hadn’t copulated in almost half a month. The both of you had been so busy with holidays such as Einherjar, Sigurdsblot, and Midsummer. Each of which was a long drawn out festival lasting for at least three days.

Sightseeing, each member of the family took you on tours of their favorite spots. Odin took you to the armories. Sif to meet the Valkyries and their beautiful winged mounts. Volstag to the best eateries in all of the nine realms. Three of which were not on Asgard, Loki still doesn’t that one. Thor to his own private hot spring so you could speak in private about your intentions for Loki. Loki of course showed you the library. Thousands of books some hidden other’s sought you out. It was the most fantastical place you had ever attended.

Of course family time that get’s compounded into a day a week. Royal duties such as meeting’s with emissaries and ambassadors hoarded much of their time. With Freya gone each member at even more work. The addition of a wife would be amenable to all.

All of this resulting in sex merely evading you both for two and a half weeks.  While neither of you was up to Tony’s standards of sex everyday, you weren’t nuns.

Every other day was more your style. Stolen kisses in the Library, hands roaming under clothes in shadowy corners ending in heated make out sessions. Caresses under the table when no one’s looking at dinner. Simply waking with the morning sunlight to the pleasure of the others company. On special occasions the complete surrender of trust to the other.

Loki was in your shared bedroom when you arrived. His arms bound behind his back in an intricate knot that only you could undue. His pale skin glistening from the sun light. Black hair resting on his shoulders, a soft caress you remembered well. Knees folded under himself as he turned his torso to look at you.

“Darling, I just wanted to apologize. Will you forgive your wretchedly sinful love?” Loki biting his lower lip while you groaned. Head rolling back in a semi circle while your breathing increased. Hand sliding down your breast, nail grazing your nipple through your sheer top.

Striding over to him steps larger than usual. Your clothes disappearing the second you touched him. Straddling his folded legs. Grasping his face as your lips locked. Arms slithering down his back.

“I love you, Loki.” Fingertips caressing his skin tenderly. Pulling back you slowly raised your hips up, foregoing foreplay all together. You were wet enough from his presentation and supplication.

Sliding down his length your lips kissing his neck. Every muscle in his arms and back twitching to be set free.

Riding him slowly while your nails raked down his chest just as slowly. Ass jiggling with every downward arch. Loki grounding his teeth as his orgasm built. His cock twitching inside of you.

“Faster, god, please go faster.” Loki resisting the urge to use his powers to get out of his knot. A mischievous smirk shifting into place from your kiss stained lips.

“No.” It was one thing to banter or argue but to openly challenge Loki. End results may vary, however, you were never disappointed.

“No?” The ropes disappearing with a small flux of power. Loki’s hands grasping your hips as he flipped you onto your back.

“Loki, baby,….” Gasps alleviating your throats ability to form actual words. Loki holding your hands above your head to prevent any further torture for himself. Down below he had activated his Jotun power of altering his body temperature. The stimulation of hot and cold in your most intimate space keeping you writhing.

“My Queen moan. Tell the world of your love for your king.” Loki breathily commanded into your ear.

His thumb slipping down to rub circles over your clit. The black silk sheets behind you almost too soft. Victory smile sliding into place as he recognized your orgasm signs. The lolling back and forth of your head, short breathy gasps interspersed with lip biting. Loki releasing your hands as he moved it to your lower back. Pulling you up slightly while he thrust into you.

Eye’s locked fingers tangling in his hair. Before either of you could become undone he kissed you. Capturing every sound of satisfaction for his own greedy purpose.

“I love you.” Loki trailing his nose over your cheek, placing delicate kisses to your jaw line.

The cover’s drifting into place over you both.

Your ability to control nature superseding his powers of illusion. Although to watch Loki fight in hand to hand combat was a real treat in itself. That skill is what got you two into trouble in the first place.

For anon…reader is a diplomat’s daughter as requested, enjoy!

Loki wandered through the halls of his grand home. He had just finished a long session in the library. He decided to call it quits when he noticed the sun lower in the sky.

As he strolled through the halls, he noticed a figure on a balcony. He immediately realized she was from a different realm just based on her clothing. A man stood next to her, speaking to her.

Loki couldn’t hear much as he slowed. All he could really focus on was the young woman lowering her head. A few moments later, the man walked back inside, allowing the trickster to see it was a diplomat his father dealt with.

His eyes traveled back to the daughter. He noticed her sigh before leaning against the balcony. Curious, Loki began to head in her direction. She didn’t seem to notice his presence as she watched the sky.

“Beautiful, isn’t it?” he whispered.
She still managed to jump. Loki bowed quickly.
“My apologies. I didn’t mean to intrude.”
She smiled softly at him. “It’s quite alright. I was just lost in thought.”

Loki smirked, walking closer to her before leaning against the railing himself.

“May I ask what about?”
She sighed. “I guess you could say I’m feeling a bit homesick. Don’t get me wrong,” she quickly interjected, “Asgard is beautiful in its own regard, but I do miss the comforts of home.”

Honeymooners Pt 3

Thanks so much everyone who left lovely comments and mail, it made me geek out so happily!

“So it’s just an open buffet?” Loki muttered, holding his tray of food.

You stood close to him, feeling nervous. “I guess so, we grab what we want, then err, find a seat.”

Loki sighed, “And on our special day, every seat is taken.”

“There’s a booth over there, that couple looks nice, maybe we could get to know them, see if they’ve seen anything suspicious.”

Loki raised his eyebrow and glanced down at you. “Darling, I don’t know if you’ve forgotten, but mortals aren’t the most aware of magical activity, you thought you were alone in the universe for centuries. Something as small as a magical portal, hidden by the operator of this establishment would certainly go unnoticed.”

You bit your lip, “Well, shouldn’t we mingle or something? If we keep to ourselves, will that look suspicious?”

“How am I to know, these mortal customs are ridiculous.”

“I’m sure you have weird customs.”

“We do but this one is far stranger.”

You pinched the bridge of your nose, balancing your tray in one hand and sighed. “Look, husband, darling, light of my life,” Loki snorted and you continued, “as your wife, I’m saying that we go befriend a couple so I can uh, show my husband off. Because I’m more in love and proud that he took me here, alright? Besides, people are going to start wondering why we’re standing in a corner and not just eating.”

Loki scowled, “Couldn’t we go back to the room and eat?”

“No, I’m not having people think weird things about me.”

Chuckling, Loki shook his head, “The food you chose is hardly conducive to such activities anyways.”

“I know, I chose them on purpose.” You called over your shoulder, making your way through the tables and over to the solitary booth.

“Hey there, I’m sorry to be rude, but there’s no other tables available.” You trailed off, looking around the room to double check that there were indeed no tables.

“Oh absolutely! Come sit by us! We were so lucky to steal this table from another couple that got up at the last second, you’d think that they wouldn’t over book like this, or at least have as many tables as rooms.” The woman shook her head. She was short and petite with deeply tanned skin and long auburn hair that trailed past her shoulders. Her eyes were the color of deep caramel and she seemed to glow in the presence of her new husband. “I’m Clara by the way.”

You told her your name and glanced over your shoulder, making sure Loki was behind you. “And this is Loki, my husband, it feels so weird finally saying it.”

“Doesn’t it though?” Clara beamed, “this is my husband, Toran.” The man beside her appeared tall, not as tall as Loki but still taller than you. He had broad shoulders, built in a way that reminded you of Thor - bulky - but you didn’t doubt Loki was stronger than him. Why that suddenly mattered to you was beyond your knowledge and you forced the thought away. His hair was dirty blonde, short cropped and he had a small blonde soul patch growing under his lower lip.

“Hey there.” Toran offered his hand for you to shake.

You shook it and thanked them for making space for the two of you. Toran stood up and moved around to sit beside his wife and you slid into the booth, allowing Loki to have the edge.

Loki glanced distrustfully at Toran but finally sat down and forced a smile.

“Don’t mind him, he’s just shy.” You looked at Loki and smiled.

Loki’s eyes darkened, that scowl ready to spread across his face but he was supposed to be a happy newlywed and forced a smile. “Forgive me, I’d rather have my beloved all to myself but it seems only right that I show her off.”

Clara giggled, “He’s so sweet. Toran and I have been in our room all day, we got married yesterday, it’s been so lovely, just really having time to ourselves.”

Loki snorted into his drink and you elbowed him in the ribs.

She continued, “Have you two been, you know, not to be too forward or anything, I’m just not sure how much is normal here, Toran says he’s tired and needs some time to recoup.”

You flushed deeply and Loki took another drink to stifle his laugh. “Well we just got here a few hours ago, but wanted to uh, take things slow a bit, really enjoy the time getting to err…” You trailed off, looking to Loki for help.

Loki’s eyes sparkled as he looked down at you, “Whatever you want, my love, it’s about us I know, but you deserve to be worshiped, you are the princess of my life after all.”

You grit your teeth and forced a smile, turning back to the couple across from you, “Isn’t he sweet?”

“He calls you his princess?” Clara cooed, “Toran, you don’t have that many pet names for me, how come?” She glared at him and he glared across at Loki.

You jumped, knee hitting the table as Loki squeezed a particularly sensitive spot on your leg. “Sorry, thought there was a bug.” You managed to grumble as Loki faked a coughing fit to hide his laughter.

“Oh I hope it wasn’t a spider, I absolutely hate those things.” Clara’s eyes widened as she scanned the booth for signs of the bug.

“It was probably nothing.” You quickly added.

“My darling here gets a little jumpy sometimes.” Loki managed to choke out, his laughter finally subsiding.

“So are you two going to take advantage of the shops here, or the hot tubs, they’re natural and built into the side of the mountain, hot streams come right up and this place was built around it.” Toran asked the pair of you.

“I hadn’t really thought that far ahead.”

“Really? Clara has spent years making her plans for this place.”

“I, oh…” You trailed off, worried that this could blow your cover.

“I made a list,” Clara interjected, “but that’s just me. I think it’s lovely that you’re more just go with the flow, I think that’s more romantic, don’t you Toran?” He nodded and she continued, “but we were thinking of visiting the beach tomorrow, you know the tram that is a never ending cycle up and down, so you can go at any time. Thought if we weren’t too tired we’d see the sunrise or maybe just enjoy the water.”

“I was thinking of doing that tomorrow as well.” You glanced at Loki and he shrugged.

“It’s clothing optional, there’s little cordoned off places for privacy if couples want to, you know.” She cleared her throat and blushed again, glancing at Toran.

You blinked hard, “Right, right, of course.”

Loki wrapped his arm around your shoulder, lacing his fingers into your hand, “My beloved here is awfully shy.”

Toran interrupted, “Actually it’s nude required, no clothes allowed once you step foot on the sand. At least, that’s what I read, not sure how enforced it is.” He looked Clara up and down, clearly mentally undressing her.

You glanced at Loki, the two of you making eye contact and swallowed nervously. Seeing Loki in all his glory tomorrow? Could you handle that?

“Oh, watch for the seismic activity, that’s what we were told, the floors kinda tremble at night sometimes and that lovely hotelier said that it’s just the deep set volcanic activity.” Clara said as she stood up, “We should probably get back to our room, look forward to seeing you two tomorrow at the beach.” Her eyes trailed over Loki for a minute and you felt a surge of jealousy and possessiveness well within you.

Loki seemed oblivious to her look, simply staring at you still. Toran followed after Clara, the pair bidding you both good night and left.

“Could that be the portal, I thought you said it was an inactive volcano?” Loki lowered his voice to ask you.

You forced your thoughts away from the look Clara had given Loki and considered it. “If it’s a big and powerful enough portal, siphoning who knows what through it, that would make sense that the ground trembles. Awfully irresponsible that the owner wouldn’t know.”

“Unless he’s in on it.”

“Well hopefully we’ll run into him tomorrow.”

“Not on the nude beach though.” Loki added absently, munching on the last of his food.

You groaned, resting your head on the table, “Don’t remind me.”

Loki chuckled, “Come now, love, only a week more of this, it will be lovely. Let’s get back to our room and figure out our sleeping arrangements.”

“I kinda hate you right now.” You grumbled.

“You can’t hate me pet, we’ve only been married one day.”

“My next husband better bring me here too.”

Loki laughed, a smile widening across his face as he gently kissed your cheek, his fingers playing with your hair. “Shall I carry you to bed?”

“No, you’ll make a scene. Every other guy here will think he has to in order to please his wife.”

“I would carry my wife, she would want for nothing.”

“She’d want a divorce, putting up with you.”

“You wound me.”

You straightened up, making sure you hadn’t actually upset him but Loki continued to grin at you, eyes alight with mischief. Rolling your eyes, you playfully shoved his chest. Loki caught your hand and pressed a kiss to the back of it.

“Shall we, love?”

You rolled your eyes again, “C’mon you goon, let’s go figure out how to sleep in that sex bed.”

You had been part of Coulson’s team from the beginning, a newer graduate of SHIELD’s field agent program. This is why you thought that they found it a breach of trust when they caught you and Loki kissing in your room on the base.

“(Y/N) care to explain,” Coulson asked, calm as ever, but you could see the barely controlled rage in his eyes. Loki had killed him after all.

“Umm…” you trailed off and looked at Loki. He only shrugged a small smirk on his face.

“We’re dating?” you said after a moment.

“You say that like it’s a question, but I get the sense it’s not,” Coulson spoke in a less than impressed tone.

“It’s not a question, we are dating and have been for some months,” Loki said joining the conversation.

“And why should I believe you. You could be using (Y/N) to get secrets or just manipulating them for the fun of it.”

You frowned and sent Coulson a harsh look. You knew Loki wouldn’t do that to you.

Loki clenched his fist and tightened his jaw.

“I would never do that to (Y/N).”

“Oh and why should I believe that. If I remember correctly last time I saw you, you stabbed me through the chest while grinning,” Coulson snapped, starting to become less and less calm.

“Because (Y/N) is everything to me, I love them,” Loki said fiercely, drawing himself up to his full height. “It doesn’t matter if you don’t believe me, but I know it is the truth and (Y/N) knows it too.”

You were shocked. You weren’t sure why you were, the two of you had been dating for a few months and you got the feeling that Loki generally tired of partners easily, but you didn’t think he cared that deeply for you.

“Loki,” you murmured, pulling him around to face you and ignoring Coulson’s look, “I love you too, you know?”

“You do?” Loki looked skeptically and you were shocked further. The man that was usually so full of himself was suddenly insecure in front of you, of all people.

“Of course I do,” you replied with a smile.

Coulson cleared his throat which was for the best because Loki was looking like he wanted to finish what you had started a few minutes before Coulson walked in.

“Hurt (Y/N) and you’re dead,” Coulson threatened and then turned on his heel, leaving the room.

“He knows I’m a god, right?” Loki asked you.

“Oh believe me, he knows.”

The next day you got a variety of sentiments ranging from, “I’ll kill him if he does anything.” to, in Skye’s case, “Nice one (Y/N).”

You snorted, but you were glad that the team was more accepting that you had predicted them to be.

A sequel to part one requested by @shadowkat564 I hope you like it! x

It had been weeks and you where desperate. You had pleaded with the guards who refused your entry to the prisons. You had begged Thor to let you and although he to suffered in the loss of his brother, but not in quite the same way, so he too had refused to help you see Loki. There was no way you could beg Odin to change his mind, to allow the never ending pain in your aching heart to stop, so there was only one person left who might be able to help you. Frigga.

You knocked lightly on her door and a maid ran to open the large door allowing you to step in. Frigga was sat gracefully in a chair in front the large arch way looking out over the city, smiling kindly, with a hint if sympathy in her eyes. “Your majesty” you said softly and cursed low before walking over and taking the seat next to her that she offered. “My dear, Y/N, its been too long” she said and you nodded
“I’m sorry” you sighed relaxing more. Ever since you came to live in the Asgard palace Frigga had taken you under her wing, treating you more like a daughter than your own mother and not like her son’s… lover… is that what you where? A fling? A daring moment that took away some of the pain that Loki had felt at being the outsider? Or did he really love you? In the seconds that past these thoughts ran through your mind like wild fire and you could’t stop them. “Y/N?” Frigga muttered and you where pulled from your thoughts as a gentle hand was placed on you knee. “You seem to be distracted, I haven’t seen you for weeks. Are you ill?” she asked and you shook your head, your hair swinging with the movement. “No… I…um…” you muttered trying to get the words out, it hadn’t been this hard asking before. “I know what you are here to ask of me, Thor told me of what you where seeking” she sighed and stood up to pace the length of the room, and you hung your head.
“I’m sorry… it’s…. strange…. “ you muttered and the queen based to look at you, giving you time to finish. “I understand what he did….” tears began to well in your eyes “and I understand that it was a horrible crime… “ you looked up at her “But I still love him.”

Frigga nodded and retook her seat leaning forwards to take your hands in her own. “I feel the same. Loki’s crimes where so terrible, but I still love my son as if he where still the same one that I raised from a baby” she said and you smiled. You knew that Frigga would understand. “Please, I… I just want to see him one last time” you begged and she nodded. “I understand, but there is little that can be done.” She paused as you hung your head once more then took in a sharp breath. “I may not be able to get you into the prisons, but I have my ways and I should be able to let you speak with him.” Your head snapped up as you nearly jumped in your seat. “Could you? With your magic?” you asked and she nodded, a joyful smile spreading across her lips at your own excitement. “Yes, my dear. Now hold still.” Frigga placed her hands on either side of your face and closed her eyes, you copied and suddenly you where no longer in her rooms.

You opened your eyes to find your self in a white, painfully white cell. The golden shield acting as indestructible bars. “Y/N?” a familiar voice asked and you spun around to see Loki, sat bolt up right in a chair, the book he had been holding fallen to the floor with shock. “Loki” you breathed and he rushed forwards but froze when your form flickered. “Frigga” he huffed and you nodded.
“I had asked to see you, but this was the only way. Please, let me just stay for a small while” you begged and he nodded reaching out a hand to try and touch you, you doing the same. Fingers just out of reach so that the mirage of you was not disturbed. “I hate Odin more than ever for separating us like that” he muttered watching your fingers whisper next to each other. “I hate him for taking you away” you whispered back watching his face “but this is better than your death. I… I don’t know… what… what I might do if you really left me” you said and tears pooled again. “Y/N… don’t cry. I hate it even more when you cry” he said tearing his eyes away to look at your face and your coughed a smile through the tears. “You always did” you chuckled. You both knew that had you really been there, he would have brushed the tears from your cheek with his thumb. “I miss you” you told him and he nodded. “I miss you” he repeated. Your form flickered as the magic began to wear off. “I think I have to go” you said you voice rising and panic filling it. “I love you” Loki promised
“I love you too.”

You opened your eyes and found yourself alone in the queen’s Royal chambers, not even the maids where there and you could feel the steady stream of tears rolling silently down your cheeks and Loki’s name trailing from your lips.

Loki fell into his chair once more his arms nearly aching with the need to hold you. He blood boiled in his cold blue veins as he thought about how upset you had been. He could live with being in prison, like you had said, it was better than death. But how dare Odin cause you pain this way. Loki was seething in his furnished cell that without you felt emptier than ever.
