In the year 2150, the field of Artificial Technology has grown at an incredible rate. With newer discoveries being made, as well as greater research of what the universe has put in our hands, we have managed to create one of the most powerful AI’s that has ever seized to exist.
A.L.I.E, Created by Scientist and Engineer Rebecca Woods, is the first human like AI that was created with the intent of saving the world. She can access enemy files as well as capture extremist terrorist groups and help come up with a better solution to our everyday problems and population growth.
When A.L.I.E ends up in the hands of the wrong countries who’s intent for the AI was different than what Rebecca had in mind, her code is tampered with.
Three intelligence agencies across the globe (MI6, CIA, GRU) deploy a special ops team of 25 members each as well as a team of 25 scientists sent from SRI International Artificial Intelligence Center to capture the groups who stole A.L.I.E, any intelligence they may have, and erase any codes they may have intercepted into the AI.
The ops are executed in one day, February 20th, 2150.
But by the time they reached their goal, it was too late. A.L.I.E. had taken a mind of her own. With the codes downloaded into her, she gained access to our nuclear warheads.
This leaves her creator, Rebecca Woods, in a tight spot. Fueled by the fear of war and what happens to those left behind in shelters, Rebecca creates another AI capable of being inserted into a human being, enhancing their mind and injecting particles into their blood making them immune to radiation.
Luckily, by the year 2030, NASA had 13 space shuttles in the making for space travel since the discovery of 7 habitable planets orbiting a dwarf star only 40 light years away. Each shuttle large enough to sustain 100 thousand people.
Now, it was only a matter of when and what comes next for Earth.
“I know this may sound weird but…”, you lift your gaze to meet up with charcoal eyes half concealed by big glasses and raven hair, “Can I take a picture of you?” It starts with a simple request made by a stranger under the pouring rain but it’s all it takes to turn your life around in a matter of mere weeks. You’re not ready to fall in love again; you’re not ready to give a chance to someone else and get your heart crushed for the hundredth time and, most of all, you’re not ready at all for the bluster known as Min Yoongi.
One year after the existence of the afterlife is scientifically verified, millions around the world have ended their own lives in order to “get there”. A man and woman fall in love while coming to terms with their own tragic pasts and the true nature of the afterlife. Coming to Netflix March 31, 2017.
