Attention anyone TRANSLATING the TPoH Comic!

Anyone who is going through the trouble of translating the entire comic in any language and is hosting it  (even fake ones i.e Zelda, Skyrim etc because why not…) I’m gathering the posts for Mod so we can put them on a Page/Masterpost all nicely organized. Could you message me here, using the submit box, and link me to your translation? So far These are the ones we have officially gotten.

(Elder Scrolls) Daedric

This just seems like the easiest way for me to do it.
Thank you very much!

This is my poor attempt at translating TPoH to Dothraki. The vocabulary of Dothraki is limited, so some things aren’t the same. For example, it says “do you want to be victorious” because dothraki has no word for hero. the property of hate is instead “part of hate”, and chapter is “book part”. Also hook is “small curved sword.” It’s as close as I could get with a limited constructed language like Dothraki. I hope you like it!

DOES THIS MEAN THAT DRAGONS CAN READ MY COMIC NOW

I was concerned that Lovecraftian horrors wouldn’t be able to read your comic, so I translated it into R'lyehian.  (Actually, I ended up translating the entire first chapter, but I’m not sure if you really want me flooding your inbox with that…)  It doesn’t really work too well as a real language, but my goodness I tried.

YES MORE ELDRITCH HORRORS OF THE DEEP BEING INCLUDED IN MY AUDIENCE IS ALWAYS GOOD

Ok ok, I know I already did daedric, but I couldn’t resist doing another Elder Scrolls language.

Not only written in Dragon script but Dragon language as well. I had to get creative with the wording and there’s no way to convey verb tense but at least I managed to avoid using those god-awful phrase strings.

So yes, tpoh is now dragon-accessible. Tamrielic dragons, at least.

MULTICULTURAL DRAGON LANGUAGE ACCESSIBILITY ACHIEVED

Someone beat me to the elvish, but this isn’t just the script–this is actual Sindarin. Yes, Tolkien elves can read the first page now. I’m rusty after years of not touching Sindarin, but I think I got most of it. “property” was the hardest word and the closest I could find was “form."

(okay I got carried away but I do love your comic. it’s one of the best things I currently follow :3)

I’m… so amazed, also Elvish is so pretty why

Hi Mod! I’m a really big fan of all of your work (I first found your tumblr when I was trying to figure out what DHMIS was, and couldn’t leave after seeing your awesome illustrations and animations).

I don’t know if someone’s already done this, but I wanted to try translating TPoH into Japanese. Thank you for creating such a great comic! ^_^

shoot I clicked post instead of queue BUT WHO CARES THIS IS GREAT

Umm, yeah, so… Hi! I’ve been wanting to do this for a few weeks and i just thought I might give it a try since I cant really go to school right now (I live in Carabobo, Venezuela and its pretty much impossible to get out of my house). This is a Latin-American spanish version of the first page :D
I hope you dont mind if I keep on translating it…

Okay no this one gets super major respect like wow I am so humbled ;__;

and YO IF YOU WANT TO DO THIS AS AN ACTUAL THING LET ME KNOW I can send you the pages without text to help out and you can post them on Smackjeeves like some of my other translators!

Um, I saw the other translations for your comic, and I decided to join in the fun! I guess.

It’s in Malay, but my Malay isn’t that great. I thought that I could work on my language by translating this, so… I wanted to try translating the whole thing. Though my editing skills aren’t that great, haha…

I’m sorry for bothering!!!
