Headcanon Express: 2nd Japan Tour

In the video footage available from the 2nd Japan tour, we see that there were stage hands that wore no wheels, but they “aided” the racers with marshalling wands (when they were trying not to get run over by them). In the above photo set taken from 前野憲一郎 (Kenchiro Maeno), you can see one trying to come to Rusty’s aid after Caboose crashes him, only for Caboose to attack back and then charge after him (possibly causing him to “fall” off the ramp).

I realize that stagehands aren’t actual characters, even if they break the fourth wall by interacting with the actors or audience, but I had an idea about these guys for fanfic purposes. We know from other productions that Rusty isn’t being treated for his corrosion, and Belle is in disrepair. So, what if these wheel-less stagehands are toys that Control owns that lost their wheels, but Control never threw them out? Or, in a real-train AU, these are wheel-less trains that have been gotten repaired for some reason or another?

Like Rusty and Belle, wheel-less vehicles might be considered at the bottom of the ladder.

Wolf pup and Border Collie play date

Nikai the 9-week-old gray wolf pup and Faye the 13-week-old border collie pup had a playdate (filmed June 16, 2014)

The two cute canids met up so that Nikai could benefit from socializing with another puppy. Faye is a perfect date for him - patient, intelligent and boundlessly energetic - she likes to control the toys, but she constantly engages Nikai and is completely comfortable roughhousing with him.

Nikai is the newest adorable addition to the Wolf Conservation Center’s Ambassador Pack. Today, as an Ambassador wolf, Nikai helps WCC wolves Atka, Zephyr, and Alawa open the door to understanding the importance and plight of their wild kin. No longer a pup, Nikai has become a powerful presence in the fight to preserve wolves’ rightful place in the environment.

Imagine shopping for a niece or nephew in a Toys R’ Us with Loki. He’s never been in one before and while your down an aisle looking for something, he disappears. A few minutes later you find him playing with a remote control car a few aisles over after hearing an odd noise. You find he’s knocked down two of those big caged displays of rubber balls and employees are scrambling to gather them up while parents and kids are laughing. You look at him with your arms crossed and he just shrugs his shoulders, walks away and keeps playing. You walk over and take the remote. “If you’re responsible for that, you could be kind enough to go help.”

“If they would all just move out of the way, I could magic it all back together couldn’t I?”

You whisper into his ear. “You know that’s not an option and if you ever want me to go on my knees for you again, you’ll be nice and go help!”

He sighs and rolls his eyes. “Suit yourself, but this means you owe me.”

He places a finger over your lips. “Shhh, there’s children present Darling. We’ll talk about this at home, hmm?” He walks away smirking as your jaw drops. “That’s good practice. Feel free to walk around the store like that if you feel a need to.”
