I remember reading that planet Phunulon was inspired a lot by Rolly Crump’s design work that he did for Disney back in the ‘60s. It looks like a lot of the inspiration came from the above pictured Tower of the Four Winds and possibly It’s a Small World, just looking at the shapes alone. Also the amount of spinny things. It definitely feels like a mix of your standard amusement park and a retro Disneyland (especially with the infamous Matterhorn spiel they included). One of the many planets on the show that makes you “want to go to there”.
