I got to see the world this summer. I stayed out all night on a street corner in Dublin, I wander the streets of London with a new friend all night, I chilled in a coffee house in Amsterdam and drank wine under the Eiffel Tower in Paris and thats not even the half of it. From bar crawls in Ireland, to watching the sunrise on the beach in Barcelona with strangers who had turned into family, I had the best summer of my life.
I started my journey alone, choosing to embark on a 25 day tour across western europe with 39 strangers from across the country. From the second I got off the plane, I was no longer alone. I met some of the most amazing people I’ve ever had the privilege of meeting and made some friendships that span much longer than a 25 day trip. I met strangers in bars that I felt more connected to than some people I see everyday. We all shared a bond, we all wanted to see the world.
I could go on for days, or even weeks about how special and incredible my trip was this summer but I don’t think there are even enough words to describe it. I am so beyond thankful that I was fortunate enough to experience this.
If you are even considering going to see the world this summer, I highly recommend EF College Break. The fact that I didn’t have to deal with booking hotels, or being alone. There was always so one who wanted to do the same thing as me whether it was going out dancing all night or getting crepes and riding a carousel. Never in my life had I had an experience so farly exceed my expectations.

Today is thanksgiving, and its been almost 4 months since I got home from my trip and the memories haven’t faded, sometimes it feels like a dream, but every single day I am thankful for every second of it.
