I’ve decided on the pages for each month of the year with the full Calendar that I’m going to decorate them using things I’ve collected from that month. In January I started writing down something that made me happy every day and I glued in the first one I had written this year. For February I’ve glued in a movie ticket and a photobooth photo. Cannot wait to fill this up.

Tori Rose Wright.

So much of my work is a kind of self portrait. Every girl comes from a place inside me; whether I’m giving a voice, face or feature to a part of myself, or by imagining myself to be the girl I’ve always wanted to be.

I went to the Finders Keepers market at the Royal Exhibition Centre in Melbourne today and got myself the cutest brooches that I fell in love with. The rainbow felt brooch is from Cat Rabbit who makes incredible plush creatures and the awesome cat brooch is by Pip Designs who has a ton of rad brooch designs. I also scored a few cool other items, but these will be my good luck charms as they make me very happy.
