↳“For a while, we were all thinking about applying to a restaurant close to the studio, so that at a moment’s notice we could go work over there. I remember thinking, We get a DVD of this, right? At least I can prove to my mom that it happened. Now people actually care about it”- On the Office
There’s really not much of a contest here. He’s simply in way too many cool roles in way too many awesome movies, shows, and games. He’s even the main character’s father in my favorite video game, Fallout 3. He has guest starred as Qui-Gon in The Clone Wars, is returning as R'as Al Ghul in The Dark Knight Rises and twice more as Zeus in the Clash of the Titans sequels. Between these roles, plus his roles in The A Team and Taken (along with an upcoming Taken sequel), he automatically grabs the top spot as my favorite actor.
↳”I was in college, but I quit a couple of years after I graduated. It got to the point where I was checking it every day, and I just started to get sick of it. The status updates, and who tagged what photos, who poked whom. There’s all this stuff to keep track of. I’d rather just pick up my phone and text somebody.“
↳”Rather than ignore those who choose to publish their opinions without actually talking to me, I am happy to dispel any rumors or misconceptions and am quite proud to say that I am a very content gay man living my life to the fullest and feel most fortunate to be working with wonderful people in the business I love.“
↳”“No matter what, I will always prefer a live performance. Whether it be a play or a musical, or playing music live. As long as it’s live, it’s the best because there’s sort of an immediacy to connection between an audience and a performer, whereas where you do film or television, you’re at the whim of so many different forces.”
↳“I think Dexter is a man who, a part of himself is very much frozen, or arrested in a place that is pre-memory, pre-conscious, pre-verbal. Something very traumatic happened to him, he doesn’t know what that is. And I think on some level he wants to know. He denies his humanity, he describes himself as someone who is without feeling, and yet I think that he maybe suspects - in a way that maybe isn’t even conscious yet when we first meet him - that he is in fact a human being.”
