Rom-com or mystery-thriller? Why?

I’d say rom-com for the most part. I guess I’m just a super sappy kind of person and I love all the fluff and cheese that comes with rom-coms.

Is there a drama you love, but wouldn’t recommend everyone cause you think it wouldn’t fit everyones taste?

The historical C-drama Prince of Lan Ling. I know a lot of people are hesitant on C-dramas because of their length and the fact that most of them get pretty draggy, but I absolutely loved this one. It was well paced with a great plot and the actors had a lot of chemistry. It’s one of my top 10!

What’s more important to you your favorite actors/actresses in a drama or a good plotline with a good script?

A good plotline with a good script is more important to me for sure. I’d much rather watch something that keeps my interest rather than forcing myself to keep watching for a particular actor. Plus, I may even find some new favorite actors :D

Do you like to get spoilers before watching a drama or do you hate everyone that spoiled the story to you :D?

Contrary to popular opinion I guess, I don’t actually mind spoilers too much. I wouldn’t go as far as to say I like them, but if you spoil something for me I won’t hate you forever :) Although sometimes,  I admit that if I find a drama particularly difficult to keep watching, I actively seek out spoilers to see if there may be something I find interesting later on to keep my interest.

If you listen to kpop, did you start before watching kdramas or after?

I started after watching Kdramas. They sort of opened the door to Korean entertainment for me, such as variety shows and music. I started out listening to strictly OSTs, but slowly started to get into kpop.

Favorite Director, and do you realize if the drama is from him/her when you watch a drama?

I don’t actually have a favorite director, but if I had to choose one, it would be Lee Eung-Bok, who directed Goblin and DOTS. I really loved the way those were filmed, although I probably would not recognize his work.

What are your reasons to drop a drama?

I don’t typically drop many dramas even if I lose interest. I tend to skim my way through it, but I have definitely dropped some. Most of the time it’s because I don’t like the actor or character. I’ve also dropped a few due to how slow the plot was.

Is there an actor/actress whose complete filmography you watched, if not, who is the actor you watched the most?

Probably Lee Jong Suk, but only because his filmography is relatively shorter haha.

Did you or would you ever consider watching a 50-episodes long sageuk drama?

I have actually watched quite a few 50+ episode saguek dramas, namely Dong Yi, Empress Ki, and some Chinese ones. They take a while to get through so I do tend to skip a couple minutes here and there of the more boring parts of the episode.

Did you reach a point in a drama where you were just tired of the protagonists and started to root for the villain? Who and why?

Not that I can think of right now, but it’s definitely happened.

My Questions:

How did you start watching kdramas and when?                                                   If you had to choose one typical kdrama scenario/trope to happen to you in real life what would it be?                                                                                               Is there a drama you regret watching? Which one?                                               Which character gave you the strongest second lead syndrome?                       Do you like to start multiple dramas or watch one at a time? If you start multiple, what is the most you have started at once?                                                             If given the opportunity which kdrama actor or actress would you like to be your costar?                                                                                                                     Which three kdramas would you consider to be must-watches?                           Is there an actor or actress you consider to be overrated? What about underrated?                                                                                                           You are waiting anxiously in line at a meet and greet. Who are you waiting to meet? (can be an actor/actress or idol)                                                                 What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you think of kdramas?

Thoughts on Joaquin Phoenix?

He struck me as someone who is a little bit weird but genius. Amazing actor no doubt with towering performances. He is easily in my top 10 favorite actors. His portrayal of Freddie Quell in The Master is so terrifying and uneasy I figured that must how it feels like to sit next to Charles Manson on a plane.

Another clip from another of my top 10 favorite movies.

“For a while, we were all thinking about applying to a restaurant close to the studio, so that at a moment’s notice we could go work over there. I remember thinking, We get a DVD of this, right? At least I can prove to my mom that it happened. Now people actually care about it”- On the Office

↳”I was in college, but I quit a couple of years after I graduated. It got to the point where I was checking it every day, and I just started to get sick of it. The status updates, and who tagged what photos, who poked whom. There’s all this stuff to keep track of. I’d rather just pick up my phone and text somebody.“

#1. Liam Neeson

Favorite roles:

Star Wars as Qui-Gon Jinn

Batman as Ra’s Al Ghul

Chronicles of Narnia as Aslan

Fallout 3 as James

Clash of the Titans as Zeus

There’s really not much of a contest here. He’s simply in way too many cool roles in way too many awesome movies, shows, and games. He’s even the main character’s father in my favorite video game, Fallout 3. He has guest starred as Qui-Gon in The Clone Wars, is returning as R'as Al Ghul in The Dark Knight Rises and twice more as Zeus in the Clash of the Titans sequels. Between these roles, plus his roles in The A Team and Taken (along with an upcoming Taken sequel), he automatically grabs the top spot as my favorite actor.
