Your Wedding Day - Omaha Squad Preferences
Nate Maloley (Your POV)
‘Okay, on a scale from one to ten, how bad is Skate freaking out right now?’ I asked Sam, my fiancé’s best man. ‘Calm down, he isn’t freaking out, he’s just nervous, that’s all. He’s rapping his vows at the moment, pretty hilarious since nothing rhymes.’ I giggled nervously. It’s my wedding day, and I am nervous as hell. Not because I’m not sure if I want to spent the rest of my life with Nate, I mean, he’s the freaking love of my life, but because I want everything to be perfect. It took me such a long time to plan this wedding, making sure everybody could make it, picking centerpieces, choosing a caterer and most of all, choosing a wedding dress. The dress was the most stressfull part, but I had finally decided on a big, poofy ball gown dress. It was beautiful. I turned to Sammy again. ‘Do I look okay?’ I asked, fiddling with my bouquet a bit. Sam reached out, grabbed my shoulders and looked me in the eye. ‘You look beautiful. Skate’s gonna fall over when he sees you. You got nothing to be worried about, okay? Everything’s perfect.’ I blinked, trying not to let tears fill my eyes. I smiled and gave him a hug. This was it, I was getting married today. At the end of the day, I would be Mrs Maloley.
Jack Johnson (His POV)
I fiddled with my tie a little and grunted in frustration. Nothing was working today, just my look. I looked at my hands and noticed they were shaking. Damn I was nervous. ‘Ey man, what’s up?’ My best man, Gilinsky, asked as he walked into the room. ‘Can’t get my tie to work. How’s Y/N? Is she doing okay?’ Gilinsky grinned as he stood in front of me and fixed my tie. ‘Just stopped her from sneaking out the window, but other than that, she’s fine.’ My eyes widened. ‘Sneaking out the window? She doesn’t want to get married? Dude, what do I do? Cancel the whole thing?’ Jack laughed. ‘Damn dude, calm down. She’s fine, she can’t wait actually. Kept going on and on about how you two should’ve gone to Vegas and get married there so you wouldn’t have al this bullshit to deal with.’ He stated and finished my tie. ‘Her words, not mine.’ I grinned, that’s my girl. She didn’t want a big wedding, she hated being the centre of attention. If it was up to her, they would’ve flown to Vegas and get married in jeans and a T-shirt. ‘Well, better get this bullshit over with then, shall we?’ I gave my best friend a hug and started my way into the church, where I would finally see my beautiful bride walk down the aisle.
Jack Gilinsky (Your POV)
Hair? Perfect. Make Up? Lovely. Dress? Out of this world. Groom? Stressed out. ‘Baby, what’s going on? We could always cancel if you don’t want to get married yet.’ I said, sitting down next to him. He looked up, surprised to see me sitting next to him. ‘No, no, it’s not that. I’m ready, I really am, and I really really love you. It’s just’ He shook his head and stood up. ‘Nah, it’s stupid, forget it.’ I got up to and walked up in front of him. ‘If you have doubts about this, you need to tell me okay?’ I said, now getting worried I wasn’t going to be Mrs Gilinsky any time soon. ‘It’s just that you could’ve gotten so much better than me. You could’ve had the world, you know. After today, you’re stuck with me. And I don’t want to wake up and find out that you got bored and left me, because I don’t know what I would do if that ever happened.’ He confessed, a tear now rolling down his face. I laughed, he raised an eyebrow at me. ‘Honey, you could never bore me! Don’t you think that if I thought that I was going to leave you some day, I would’ve done it by now? I love you way too much to ever get bored of you.’ I kissed him gently on the nose. His arms snaked around my waist and mine were already resting on his shoulders. ‘And I promise you, if I ever leave you, I will take you with me.’
Sam Wilkinson (His POV)
I barged in my fiancée’s room, expecting to find a crying bride and helpless bridesmaids, only to be greeted by surprised and angry eyes. ‘Samuel Howard Wilkinson! What on earth are you doing here!’ The stern voice of my fiancée yelled. I was just about to mumble an apology when Nate, my best man appeared behind me. ‘Dude, it was just a joke, she isn’t really freaking out! Oh, hey girls.’ He mumbled, scratching the back of his head. ‘’ Nathan Montgomery Maloley! Why are you telling my soon-to-be-husband that I am freaking out about the wedding?’ I laughed a little, he was getting it worse than me. I quickly shut up when my girl practically sent me a death glare. Talking about bridezilla. ‘Uh, I was just choking around. We’re very sorry to disturb you.’ Nate apologized and walked away, leaving me alone with the girls. ‘You look beautiful, honey.’ Luckily she wasn’t fully dressed yet, otherwise she probably would’ve thrown her bouquet at me. I walked over to my gorgeoud bride and kissed her on the nose. She blushed lightly, reminding me of every reason why I wanted to marry her. ‘Idiot.’ She mumbled. I grinned. ‘After today, I’m officially your idiot, so you’re stuck with me. Too late to back out now.’ I stuck out my tongue and ran through the door, not wanting the bouquet to hit my head. ‘Love you, hun! See ya at the altar!’ I yelled from the hallway. ‘I’m seriously concidering leaving you there!’ She yelled back, but I could hear the humour in her voice and smiled, happy that that girl would finally be my wife at the end of the day.
