took 6 months

Oh hey here’s this dotwork drawing that took me like 6 months, on Instagram I had a tonne of people asking me why Jerome is there instead of Jack Nicholson’s Joker, & it’s very simple really, BECAUSE I LIKE JEROME MORE THAN JACK NICHOLSONS JOKER
Also idk really how this idea came about, I was originally gonna like merge their heads together but somehow it turned into a weird squishy 3 headed thing

This is long overdue, (and I really apologise for that, @j-peters0n ! ), but I just had to finish this piece I started half a year ago. It took me nigh 6 months just to colour in the last piece because I barely survive every night I come home from work. I hope you like it, and guysss you really should read J’s fic, Technicolor.

As an artist, I hope that any nuance I add to a picture can be understood the people who see it, but anyways. The idea was that when they kiss Anna’s colour leaks to Elsa’s previously dull and dreary world. That’s why Anna (as seen in Elsa’s PoV) is monochromatic, and why Elsa (as seen from Anna’s PoV) is so rich in colour. And I really love this concept, as it gives me a chance to play with super bright and fun colours. Added quotes from the original story, repurposed to fit in this short comic strip version. =D

(CAN YOU BELIEVE IT’S ALMOST BEEN 3 YEARS SINCE FROZEN CAME OUT THOUGH???)

back to obscurity for me.

It took Blizzard 6 months to announce any sexualities for Overwatch heroes.

At this rate it will take over 11 years if they were to announce them all.

So for the next 11 years, I’ll consider any unspecified hero LGBTQIA until proven straight.

(Of course, in those 6 months two new heroes were announced, outpacing the sexuality reveals by 2:1. In other words, a new 6 months are added to the timer every 3 months, meaning it will last forever.)

Sorry about the inactivity guys, at first I had writers block but now my laptop charger is broken so I’m unable to actually write things even if I wanted to (which I actually do for a change). There’s not much I can do atm but I thought I’d keep you all updated, I’ve not forgotten about this blog <3

A Charlie Brown Christmas was Made in Less Than 6 Months!

S’true! One afternoon in May of 1965, advertising company McCann Erickson called documentary filmmaker Lee Mendelson. They had seen his festivals-only documentary on Peanuts creator Charles Schulz and wanted to know if Mendelson and Schulz had ever thought of doing a Christmas special.

Mendelson recalls, “I immediately said, ‘Yes,’ assuming we could develop something in a few weeks or months.”

Only McCann Erickson didn’t want to wait a few weeks, never mind a few months.

Mendelson explains, “It was a Wednesday, and they said they needed an outline by Monday, as they had to make a quick decision, as other animated specials were being offered. I called Schulz and said, ‘I think I just sold a Charlie Brown Christmas show.’ He asked, ‘What is that?’ And I said, ‘It’s something you have to write tomorrow, when [animator] Bill [Melendez] and I come up.”

Mendelson and Melendez zipped up to Santa Rosa, and the three artists quickly hammered out the outline for A Charlie Brown Christmas.

“Coca-Cola bought the outline, and the show went on [TV] six months later,” says Mendelson. “It did a 45-percent share of the [US] audience, and went on to win an Emmy and a Peabody.” (Via: The Washington Post.)
