Do you have any experience with graphic novels? Do you know if the writing or pacing for it is any different than just a normal novel of the same genre? I'm just wondering because I'm finding it really difficult to find resources on Tumblr for someone specifically making a graphic novel, so I've just been combing through the writing tips tag to find relevant stuff
Unfortunately, I have not personally been involved with any graphic novels, so I cannot speak too specifically about them. However, like a regular text novel, there are going to be a lot of similar components- both are narratives used to tell stories, so a lot of the tools are going to be the same, as far as developing characters, doing research, etc.
One thing I have noticed from reading graphic novels is that the plot seems to move a little bit faster than in other novels- one way to explain it is that it is more condensed, rather like a movie is a move condensed version as a book as well. This is because movies and graphic novels have the added benefits of the visual aspects, so there is less page time spent on describing things like physical setting or character appearances.

If anyone has any experience with graphic novels or similar mediums, feel free to add any tips or make yourself available as a potential resource!
