tony award performance

Grateful to have ended this Thanksgiving weekend seeing friends and my favorite Tony Award winning performer do another incredible set at Sterling’s.

I am truly thankful for all the friends I’ve made during this journey and also that I have had the opportunity to see JLY perform.  I’m also happy his fans are permitted to take photos of his incredible shows.  They capture his powerful performances and serve as remembrances for those of us that were there as well as mementos for those who were unable to see him.

Here’s one that I took just a few  hours ago.  More to come…

James Corden, 2016 Tony Awards, “That Could Be Me” || Neil Patrick Harris, 2013 Tony Awards, “Bigger”

Got to see my favorite Tony Award winning performer, John Lloyd Young, tonight along with friends and the hubby–the latter who hadn’t seen JLY since his final JB show on Broadway.

Since it’s late (or early, depending on how you define 3:29 a.m.) this is a preview; I’m not working today and after I get some sleep will look at the rest of the photos and post.

Very grateful I have this life, these experiences.

The ASL production of Spring Awakening needs to raise $200,000 for their Tony Awards performance.

Even though Deaf West’s revolutionary production was nominated for Best Revival, the costs of performing at the Tonys are apparently prohibitive for the small production. The creative team is now seeking to fundraise $200,000 to bring a moment of this show to nationwide audiences. (via Kickstarter)
