“It’ll be fun!” Tony had said. And honestly, Bucky felt like punching him, just breaking his nose, or bruising him enough in such a way that he would never suggest this to Bucky again.

How could a room full of drunk, screaming people could be fun? Bucky grimaced, as yet another girl sidled up to him and batted her eyelashes at him. He shook his head and gave her a polite smile.

@hello-shellhead @saved-by-the-notepad I might’ve written you guys something

“This is not a good idea,” Natasha said immediately, Clint and Steve nodding along with her. “Clint and I are much better trained, and Tony is too recognizable.”

“I understand that,” Fury said with a sigh. “But this mission needs Stark’s expertise. We’re just going to have to hope he can keep his mouth shut for once.” He shot a one-eyed glare in the billionaire’s direction, who in turn shrugged.

“I’m up for it. Don’t worry about it, it’ll be easy.” He shot a smile around at his anxious teammates, which only seemed to worry them more.

The mission itself was easy enough. Infiltrate a party, get some blue prints, erase some data, destroy some technology. Easy, he did that after Obie often enough, although to be fair he was doing it to his own company, so it didn’t have to go quite so unnoticed.

The others didn’t seem to have much faith in him, but that was fine. People underestimating him was just the way he liked the world. Fury dismissed them and Tony went back to the tower to prepare. Nice suit, but cheap by his standards. Slicked back hair in contrast to his usual unruly curls. Repulsor watch – no way he was going in unarmed, he wasn’t stupid. He stared at himself in the mirror. Still too recognizable. Sighing, he resigned himself to the fact that he would have to do it: he was going to have to shave his glorious goatee.

The mission went smoothly, despite many people who had personally met Tony Stark being in attendance at the party. No one gave him a second glance; some people thought he was a waiter, and Tony cursed himself for wearing a suit that was too cheap. He was in and out in two hours, everything completely under control. He was just strolling out of the building when he heard someone shouting about destroyed prototypes and smiled to himself, whistling.

Apparently his ‘disguise’ worked too well, because when he got back to SHIELD headquarters he had about four guns pointed at his head and several very angry agents glaring at him and asking just who the fuck he was and what he thought he was doing.

“Uh, Tony here guys. Finished the mission, saved the day?” he answered as he held his hands up in surrender, trying to placate them. They didn’t believe him.

He was unceremoniously (“HEY, genius over here, check your strength!”) thrown into an interrogation room, where he sighed and pulled the drive he had obtained for Fury out of his pocket, setting it on the table. Hill entered about fifteen minutes later, which was good because he was getting bored and contemplating messing with the monitoring system in the room, and he shot her a big smile.

“Agent Hill! So good to see you. You proud of me yet? I know you didn’t believe I could pull it off.” He smirked, but his face fell at her cold and blank stare.

“I don’t know you,” she responded in monotone. “I don’t know what you’re pulling, pretending to be Stark-”

“I’m not pulling anything!” he protested quickly, holding his hands up again and standing, like he was waiting to be attacked. “I am Stark! Listen, call Pepper, show her a picture, she’ll tell you. Jesus, all I did was shave!” Hill glared at him and he fell silent again, anxiously reminding himself that if he stepped back it would be a sign of weakness and women loved signs of weakness. She turned on her heel and walked out without another word, and he fell back into his seat. He felt exhausted. The mission hadn’t been hard, but had taken longer than he thought it would, and he wanted to go home and work.

It took another hour before someone entered the room again, and by that point he was standing on the chair in the corner of the room, dissecting the camera that was watching him with the small screwdriver he had in his pocket and ingenuity. He glanced over his shoulder as Pepper strode in, lighting up and jumping down from the chair quickly, noting Hill and Fury standing behind her.

“Pep, my love, the spice of my life!” he said dramatically, throwing his arms wide. “Tell the Pirate that he should be able to recognize his agents better.”

“That’s Tony,” Pepper said with a long-suffering sigh, ignoring him. “He looks like a child without his facial hair, but it’s him. I didn’t believe it either the first time I saw him, until Obie-” She cut herself off quickly and shot him an apologetic look, but he just shrugged, clapping a hand on Fury and Hill’s shoulders.

“Now that that’s sorted, can we debrief and go home?”

Apologies were made, but Tony waved them away. It wasn’t the first time this had happened, and probably wouldn’t be the last. Even the paparazzi didn’t recognize him without his distinctive and awesome goatee getup, which was nice sometimes.

It was a couple months and a few missions later when it happened again. Fury and Hill were out on their own recon mission, Pepper was in Tokyo and couldn’t be reached, and Rhodey was out on deployment for the next few weeks and no help anyway (he would probably just find it hilarious and leave Tony in the lurch). It didn’t matter how many times Tony showed up from completed missions missing his glorious goatee, the agents of SHIELD apparently had terrible facial recognition because he was always detained and interrogated.

It had been hours and lots of yelling before Tony finally got fed up. “You people are insufferable!” he shouted, grabbing a Sharpie from the agent’s pocket and turning to the one-way mirror on the wall, scribbling on his face in a rough approximation of something that looked like his normal goatee. “There! Recognize me now?”

Clint found it absolutely hilarious. There were photos.

Somehow a picture of Tony with Sharpie stains and a wide grin got leaked to the media, and the rage was now “Tony Stark look-alike?!” which Tony found absolutely hysterical.

He managed to convince half of SHIELD that it really was just a look-alike, while the other half remained sceptical. Suddenly, whenever he stepped into headquarters he had ghosts trailing him with razors (and not very good ghosts, either, Fury should get Natasha and Clint up here for some lessons). Bruce found it very amusing to help him prank said ghost, which one time included locking them in the bathroom and filling said bathroom with bubbles. And whenever Tony did show up from a mission where he’d shaved, he was met with a multitude of stares. Fury even got in on the action and started calling him ‘Agent Carbonell,’ which was funny in its own way.

And if he managed to trick Steve as well a couple times, well, that was a whole different story.

Twenty-One Questions - Peter Parker

Paring: Tony Stark’s Daughter x Peter Parker

The Avengers compound was quieter than normal Saturday night. The television flickered in the corner as the men switched flipped back and forth between NFL games. Natasha and Wanda chatted amongst themselves ignoring the sporting event like it was their job. Shouting resulted to a bare minimum much to the surprise of the young teenager propped on the kitchen bar stool. Peter Parker had been apart of the Avengers for a little over three months and never in his time apart of the team had he witnessed them so lifeless. The Avengers slumped around like deflated balloons lacking interest in all activities.

A soft sigh fell from Peter’s soft lips while he pushed himself off the metal seat. His warm brown eyes fell to the watch fasten around his wrist. 10:06, Aunt May would expect him home by midnight but with the lack of activity, calling it a night didn’t seem like such a horrible option. Peter was use to hating the time that rolled around when he was forced to take the long haul back to his apartment. The train rides were sketchy, the walk in the cold was gruesome, and the local New York civilians had a tendency to be the most bitter people in the world. But out of all the things Peter hated about having to leaving the tower, Y/n was by far the most.

Bucky: [Notices he’s being watched at a distance] Who is that? Why, it’s Tony Stark!

Bucky: [Waves to Tony] Hello, Tony!

Bucky: He’s just shy because I’ve tried to kill him so many times.

T'Challa: Ah.

Hi, I'm tiara_48 and MonicaOP21 :D. What I'll like, if possible something on the Leader Of The Free World AU!! Stony all the way!! Maybe something with Immigrants? Pretty please?? hugs!! Monica

I haven’t really done much Steve/Tony in LOFW, have I? Here ya go.

They had held the wedding privately – in the White House, as Tony had demanded, while Steve laughed and called him a Bridezilla. Still, they couldn’t escape the public eye entirely, and Tony had agreed to turn the reception speeches into a sort of press-conference-media-event. Rhodey and Sam had given speeches as Best Men, Clint had put in his cameo, and they’d had their first dance; so Steve was surprised when Tony told the cameras “Keep rolling.”

“What are you up to?” Steve asked in an undertone, as Tony waved to Kamala, who brought him a small leather folio.

“When we talked about wedding gifts, I couldn’t figure out what to give the vice-president,” Tony said, holding up the folio. “Assassinating Clint was out of the question, and you’re lacking in material desires.”

The assembled reporters laughed. Steve narrowed his eyes.

“So I decided I’d pull a few strings, and this morning Clint signed a little document into law,” Tony said. “Sara’s Law is named for Sara Rogers, who immigrated to this country at the age of twenty-three. It grants indefinite residency rights to all immigrants under the age of twenty-five, regardless of documentation status, and budgets federal funds for the creation of a new government agency designed to guide anyone over the age of twenty-five to documented resident status or citizenship. As of this moment, no immigrant in this country is an “illegal” immigrant, thanks to Sara’s Law.”

There was an audible intake of breath from the crowd. Steve took the folder, opened it, and frowned.

“How did you….” he began.

“I’m the Illuminati, dearest,” Tony murmured, then, louder, “If I can’t give you something nice for your wedding, what’s the point of being Secretary of Defense?”

Steve blinked rapidly. “You gave me twelve million new citizens,” he managed.

“It was that or a World’s Okayest Vice President mug,” Tony told him.

Song or Quote : Love is unselfishly choosing for another’s highest good.
Who: Peter Parker

Peter sulked behind Tony who led them to an old diner that miraculously was still standing after everything the city had been through. He was dreading what was going to be said to him once they finally sat down. Peter had messed up, bad. Tony ordered a black coffee and a cherry turnover while Peter just stuck to a chocolate milk. He didn’t even want anything but Tony insisted he get something. The silence was painful and seemed like it was never going to end.

After some time of watching Tony eat his turnover, Peter finally decided to break the painful quiet. “Look, Mr. Stark, I just, I need, I want to apologize for not being on my A game tonight.”

Tony chewed for a minute, staring at the teenager before swallowing and deciding to respond back. “Mind telling me why I almost got my head ripped off and your body almost getting torn in half? This isn’t some game, kid. It’s real life and real life means real danger and real danger means broken bones and dead bodies. When I bring you along to these kinds of things, I bring you because I need you. Just because I’m Iron-man doesn’t mean I can do everything which is something you will never hear me say again.”

Peter bit his lip, shaking his head. Trying to find the words to justify why his mind was not where it was supposed to be. Stuttering and tripping over his words, he bowed his head and mumbled, “I’m sorry, Mr. Stark. I, it’s, I, my-”

“-just stop.” Tony sighed, running a hand over his face, he inhaled deeply. This was a kid sitting in front of him, just a kid. A kid that was fortunate to have these abilities and unfortunate at the same time because he was stuck with them. Looking at Peter, he asked calmly, “Where was your mind at, kid? Why weren’t you focused?”

Peter refused to meet Tony’s gaze, he didn’t want to admit why he had been spacing out. Because, he knew that lives were at stake but the guilt of cancelling his date with [Y/N] for the fourth time in a row was eating away at him. He desperately tried to keep his crime fighting life as Spider-Man and [Y/N] separate. He didn’t want to put that burden on her, constantly being worried whether or not he was going to make it home or not. It wasn’t fair to cause stress when he could just avoid it and keep his Spider-Man life private.

Sipping on his coffee, Tony sternly spoke. “If we’re going to be working together, we’ve got to be honest with one another.”

Again Peter didn’t respond, he just didn’t know how.

“What was so damn important in that brain of yours that made you forget about your life for one split second?”

Peter toyed with his hands, shrugging his shoulders, getting frustrated with himself. “I don’t know, Mr. Stark. I just, I spaced. I know this is important and that I should always stay focused but, I just, I-”

“-Peter, listen to me, and you listen good. I see potential in you, please for the love of god don’t make me regret my decision.”

Peter frowned, looking down in his lap, he toyed with his fingers again. “I’m seeing this girl, [Y/N], Mr. Stark. I have been for awhile now and I kept it a secret because I don’t know, I want to keep my personal life for just me. And I don’t want to drag her into this life because well, she doesn’t need to be apart of it.” Looking up at Tony, Peter sighed. “I’m still a kid and I want to do kid things like go to school, see her in the hall and think to myself, ‘wow, she’s so beautiful,’ and then meet up with her at the lockers and talk about how her day has been going. Go on dates, have awkward moments on those said dates, struggle to find the words to say when I find out that I love her.” Peter ran both hands through his hair, “Tonight was the fourth night in a row that I’ve cancelled on her and I’m just afraid that she’ll leave me and I don’t want that because when I’m with her, I feel good. I feel great, actually. I feel normal, I feel like just a normal kid and it’s an escape from this double life I’m living-which don’t get me wrong, Mr. Stark, this life is nice too because I feel like I’m making a difference in this world but sometimes I just need a getaway and [Y/N] is my getaway. Wait…what are you doing?”

Tony mumbled under his breath, “I may have bit off more than I can chew.” His focus was completely focused on his watch, his fingers were hovering over a holographic keyboard as he toyed with it. In seconds [Y/N] social media profile was hovering in the air, “Is this? This is the girl you’re seeing?” Tony seemed impressed, “She’s cute.” He looked up in time to find Peter’s horrified stare, ignoring it, he skimmed through her pictures and interests. “Very cute, aw, well isn’t this sweet. Is that the Statue of Liberty? It is, isn’t it. Hm, let’s see ‘Peter took me to see Lady Liberty today!’ Oh come on, man. You took her to see the Statue of Liberty for a date?”

Still stunned that Tony had [Y/N]’s social in his hands, he swallowed. “Uh, yeah, she, uh, she’s always wanted to go and I thought, you know, I should, wait why are we talking about this right now?” He wanted to get off the topic of [Y/N]. There was a reason why he kept her from Tony despite knowing that he could easily get onto it.

Waving his hand over the floating images, they vanished. Toying with the keyboard some more, another image popped up over his wrist. Swiping the images, he nodded in approval. “She’s a smart girl. All A’s and lookie here, she’s in three AP classes. How old are you again? How does she have the time for this and you? These are some impressive scores, probably the highest in your grade I take it. Let’s just see, oh look, she does with you being right behind her.” Waving his hand again to make them disappear, Tony leaned forward. “Okay, look, I get why you’re head over heels, puppy dog in love with her. She’s a cute, smart, very smart girl.”

“Did you? Did you just hack into my school’s grading system to look at her grades?”

Waggling his finger, Tony narrowed his eyes. “Ah, no changing the subject and really? You have to ask? I’m Tony Stark, I could get into this rinky dink diner’s security system and shut it down.” Clearing his throat, “Listen to me, kid. Love is unselfishly choosing for another’s highest good. You put your life at risk tonight because you were too busy worrying about her. But you know what, I get that, I get you want to protect her from this double life thing your living. I get it. But what you don’t understand is that keeping her from this, is only making it worse for you and her.”

"I can’t just tell her I’m Spider-Man! She’ll freak out and if she freaks out, I’ll freak out. Her and Aunt May are very similar in their freaking out episodes. I have to keep it a secret.”

“You know, I’ve heard girls date men that resemble and remind them of their fathers but I’ve never heard boys dating girls that remind them of their really attractive aunts.”

Peter narrowed his eyes, “I never said [Y/N] reminds me of Aunt May, I just said they freak out the same. But yes to some degree, I guess you could say they have similar qualities-but that’s besides the point! I am not telling her I’m Spider-Man.”

Tony rolled his eyes, sighing dramatically. “When you have someone that means this much to you, you want to protect them and only them. I’ve been there, kid. You want to make the world a better place for them but the thing is, is when you step foot into that suit. It’s not just about them, it’s about everyone. You have a responsibility to save as many people as you can. And when you’re all in love and what not, you lose sight of that responsibility. Prime example was tonight when we almost died.”

“So I just what? Break up with her and suffer? Because I don’t think I can do that, Mr. Stark. If anything, it’ll make my concentration worse.”

“I’m not saying that. What I am saying is you have a responsibility to save as many lives as you can without losing your own. You’re young, you’ll find other [Y/N]’s, if not better ones.”

Peter squinted his eyes, shaking his head. “No, I won’t. There’s no one like [Y/N]. No one.”

Tony half nodded, understanding the firm point the teenager had. Sighing, he rubbed his forehead, “This job isn’t easy and you’ve got a long way to go before these instincts start to feel like second nature.” Glancing out the window, his eyes caught sight of a familiar face among a crowd of kids about to step foot into the diner. “Word of advice, Parker? You should tell her what you’ve been up to. Because one thing I will say is that despite my distaste for love, that kind of girl is not the kind of girl you let slip away from your fingers over something so irritatingly silly as not telling her who you are and what you do.” Throwing down some money, he stood up and winked at Peter before saying, “Because a few years from now, I may scout her to work for me and that’d be so unbelievably awkward to work with her after you were an idiot in not telling her.”

“Wait, where are you going?”

“Out the door to my lavish expensive penthouse where I can take a wonderful lavender bath.”

“Peter?”

Peter spun around, frozen in place to find [Y/N] standing behind him. Struggling to stand up, his knees banged the underside of the table before scrambling out of the booth. [Y/N]?! What, what are you doing here?”

Raising a brow, she eyed Tony suspiciously, “I could ask you the same thing…”

Tony smiled, “You must be [Y/N], Peter has told me so much about you. Sorry about having him cancel on your date but I really needed to finish up some finishing details on his entry for the September Foundation.”

“At a run down diner?” She asked, not really believing in his lie.

“You know what, you, my sweet girl, are a lot smarter than I had been told.” Moving around her, he headed for the door. “Peter will telling you everything you need to know.” Winking before leaving the door, he chuckled to himself as he left Peter looking frantic and nervous.

[Y/N] crossed her arms, “Peter, what is going on? I thought you said Aunt May wouldn’t let you go out tonight. And why the hell was Tony Stark in this diner with you? And, the September Foundation? What is he talking about?”

Sighing, he reached for her hand, “We need to have a long talk about all of those questions but not here.”

Clint was probably as excited as you were to finally have you back at Stark Tower in a few short hours. You haven’t been there in so many years, you actually lost count. You were tired of the country life and you desperately needed a change in scenery.

Your dad said you had a place at Stark Tower anytime you wanted to visit the city and your family, as he calls them. So, you packed your bags and told your dad you wanted to visit.

Your mom was a little more reluctant to let you go, she always wanted to make sure you were safe. Clint assured her time and time again that nobody would be able to mess with you, not when you had an army of Avengers by your side. After convincing her to let you leave, you made your way to the jet Tony had so kindly sent out for you.

Clint was pacing along the common room floor, checking the clock every five minutes. “Clint, she’ll be here. Sit down, you’re making me nervous.” Tony said with a loud sigh. Clint shook his head and stopped pacing, turning to face the others. “She hasn’t been here in years, I just want her to feel at home.” Clint said, checking the clock once again. You should be landing anytime now.

The team was talking among themselves, all gathered around, waiting for you to get there. Everyone was excited to see you again, only remembering you as your younger self. They always tried to keep in touch, mostly Steve and Nat than anyone else.

Soon after, the jet finally landed on the roof of the Tower and Clint basically screeched in excitement, causing the team to laugh. “Jesus.” Sam muttered, shaking his head as he chuckled. The team all stood around in a welcoming line, ready to see you.

Clint stood in front of them, a big smile on his face. “I can’t wait to see her!” Nat squealed, bouncing on her feet. Steve smiled and nodded. “Me either, I wonder how much she’s grown.” Steve said, staring at the elevator anxiously.

Bucky stood beside Steve, his hands stuffed in his pockets. “Y'think she’ll remember me?” Bucky asked quietly, catching Steve’s attention. You had just briefly met Bucky the last time you had visited the Tower, you didn’t have a lot of time to stay. You were much younger and didn’t get to properly warm up to him.

Steve turned to Bucky, a small look of shock on his face. “Of course she’ll remember you, Buck.” Steve said, nudging Bucky’s side. Bucky smiled and sighed. He enjoyed having you around that one time, you were young and full of energy. You made everyone smile and just made the place feel happy. Bucky could remember how you wore pigtails in your hair and wore little sundresses, he thought you were such an adorable little girl.

You sighed, nervously playing with the hem of your sundress. The elevator suddenly dinged and the doors opened. You saw the entire team standing with big smiles on their faces. “Y/N!” Clint and Nat both yelled, rushing over to you.

You smiled shyly and set your bags down, letting your dad pick you up and twirl you around. Clint’s smile was so wide and you couldn’t help but squeeze him tightly. “Dad!” You said, your arms tight around his neck. You laughed as he set you down and you turned to a rather overly excited Nat.

“My turn!” She yelled, pulling you into a tight embrace. “You’ve grown up so much!” She yelled excitedly. You hugged her back and she swayed you from side to side. “I’ve missed you!” You yelled back, smiling as she giggled into your ear.

She pulled away and you turned to see Steve standing there. You squealed as you ran and hopped up, wrapping yourself around Steve. “Steeviiieee!” You yelled, hearing him chuckle. “Y/N!” Steve yelled back, twirling you around just like Clint did. He set you down on your feet, helping you keep steady.

You beamed up at Steve, your hands resting on his biceps. “Dang, Brooklyn! Those muscles have grown!” You said, your eyes and mouth wide in amazement. Steve playfully flexed under your hold and chuckled. “You haven’t grown much height wise, but wow! You’re so beautiful!” Steve said, causing Clint to clear his throat, eyeing Steve. “Oh Dad, stop it.” You said giggling. Steve pulled you along, your dad and Nat following behind.

You shyly waved at everyone and Tony stepped forward now, gaining your attention. “Okay, has it really been that long?” Tony asked, giving you a tight hug. You smiled and gave his back a light pat. “It has.” You pulled away, “You’ve gone grey.” You said, making Tony gasp and pull away from you. “Dammit!” He yelled but you stopped him before he could rush to the nearest mirror. “I’m kidding!” You laughed along with everyone else.

You shared hugs with everyone and it was time you reunited with Bucky. You smiled and Bucky stepped forward, his eyes raking up your body. “Y/N, you’ve grown.” Bucky said, letting out a breathy chuckle and pulled you into a hug. “It’s been so long, Doll.” Bucky said, causing the room to fall silent at the sudden nickname. You smiled and hugged Bucky back, feeling his arms tighten around you.

Your heart started to race in your chest and you blushed, noticing Bucky held you longer than anyone else did. Clint cleared his throat again and you quickly separated from Bucky. You noticed Bucky’s eyes fall to your cleavage as you pulled away. “I know, I’m sorry I was away for so long. We have so much to catch up on!” You said, smiling up at Bucky. His blue eyes locked with yours and you swear you could see him blushing.

You heard Sam snicker. “Oh, boy.” He whispered, though nobody commented on it. Clint held your bags and smiled at you. “I wanna show you your room. Tony and the others are gonna start dinner. We’re all gonna hang out outside, we’re having burgers!” Your dad smiled widely, dragging you away from everyone.

You turned to wave and Bucky stood there, seemingly full of shock. You turned back to the elevator and the doors closed, taking you to your room. “How was the flight?” Clint asked, rubbing your back. You smiled. “That man and his fancy jets.” You laughed softly, your dad doing the same.

A few hours passed and you caught up with everyone pretty quickly. They were all surprised at how much you had grown up over the years. You enjoyed talking to the team and every now and then, you would catch Bucky staring at you. You felt some sort of connection between each other.

You were all sitting at a table in the backyard, eating dinner. The sun was just beginning to set and you were laughing at something Tony said. “I swear, you never left the tower without wearing a sundress! I don’t know what it is.” Tony said, making you smile. “My mom always bought them for me when I was little,” You shrugged, “It stuck with me, I guess.” You said, watching Tony nod with a smile.

The conversation carried on and you noticed Bucky looking at you again. You had to admit he has gotten a lot more muscular and he was a very handsome man. You blushed when he winked at you and you felt an elbow gently jab your arm. You turned to Nat, seeing her sip from her cup, her eyebrow quirked. You sent a questioning look at her, but you knew what she was hinting at.

Bruce cleared his throat and looked at you. “So, Y/N, you went to college, didn’t you?” Bruce asked, his eyes kind and his smile small. You nodded. “I did! I really enjoyed it, but I’m not entirely sure what I want to do.” You said, feeling everyone’s eyes on you. Bruce nodded, smiling at you. “That’s understandable.” He commented.

Sam smirked at you. “Party a lot?” Sam asked, making you blush. You giggled and rolled your eyes. “No, I was too busy for all of that.” You replied, shaking your head. Sam smirked again, leaning in closer to you. He was sitting right across from you.

“No time for a boyfriend either?” Sam asked, earning a slap to his arm from Steve. “OW! It was just a question.” Sam said, furrowing his eyebrows at Steve. “Wings off, Sam.” Steve said in a stern voice. Everyone laughed and you blushed, slowly looking over at Bucky. Bucky’s head was hanging down a tad and he was picking at his food.

You sighed softly and turned your attention back to everyone else. Clint was staring daggers at Sam and you rolled your eyes, smiling to yourself. Your dad was always protective about a guy stepping into your life. He wanted someone he approved of and you feel like the only guy your dad would approve of would be Steve, but your eyes have been on Bucky since you got here.

You felt something in your gut when you look at Bucky. Something is drawing you in and you were nervous, yet you wanted to be near him so badly. You wanted to touch him, feel him, hold him, in the most innocent sense. But also in another sense of those words. The way his hair was hanging loosely in his makeshift bun and the tight black tank top he was wearing now made your mouth water.

A snap of two fingers broke you out of your thoughts and you jumped slightly in your spot. “Hm?” You asked, looking towards Wanda. “You okay?” She asked, looking at you. You sighed and cleared your throat. “I-I just need to use the ladies room. I’ll be back.” You rushed, standing from your seat. “Is everything alright?” Clint asked, putting down his cup. His eyebrows were creased together with worry. All eyes were on you, even Bucky’s.

You nodded and gave your dad a small smile. “I just need some fresh air.” You said before walking away and up the stone path that led to a back door. “Aren’t we outside?” Vision questioned as you walked off. The team all looked over to you and Bucky watched your figure walking away, his tongue lightly darting out to wet his lips.  (refer to gif omg)

You sighed and shook your head, more thoughts of Bucky coming into your mind. What was wrong with you? You just got here today after years of being gone, why are you already catching feelings for someone like you’re desperate for a guy? But you just couldn’t help it, Bucky was just so hot. He was nice, too.

You walked up to the elevator, sighing again. You looked at the buttons, your floor number disappearing from your clouded mind. You bit your lip, wiggling your fingers as you tried to remember it. You looked at the mass amount of floor numbers and pressed what you thought was yours. You waited patiently for it stop.

As the doors opened, you slowly walked out, seeing a floor similar to yours. You hoped you got it right, but as you walked down the long hallway, the musky cologne smell from the three rooms made you realize that this was not your floor. You kept walking down the hallway anyways, looking at the decorations on the doors as you walked by.

You walked by Sam’s room, a sign saying “Falcons Only” on his door with a drawing of him hanging off of it. You smiled and looked to your left, right across was Steve’s door. It had a decal of his shield on it, with a small picture of him and the team pinned to it. You stepped up to his door and gently let your fingers touch the photo. You giggled when you noticed the bunny ears Sam held above Bucky’s head.

Your eyes remained on Bucky’s face for a little longer. His smile was genuine, his eyes squinted from his smile being so wide. His hair was framing his face and he had a cap on. He looked really happy and at peace with himself.

You smiled and moved away from Steve’s door, seeing another one at the end of the hall. There was a large window on the wall you faced. It was almost dark now, surely the team would be inside soon.

You waked over to the last door. There was nothing on it. No name tag, no drawing, no photos, no symbol of the Avenger who lived in this room. Curiosity getting the best of you, you turned the doorknob and peeked inside. The room was simple and had minimal in it. You walked inside, leaving the door cracked.

You looked around the room, looking for anything that would give you a hint of who occupied it. You saw a perfectly made bed, no wrinkles on it. There was no clutter, nothing out of place. Everything was neat and clean, organized as if the person hated clutter. A cluttered bedroom meant a cluttered mind. Maybe this person suffered with a cluttered mind before.

You walked over to the desk in the bedroom, seeing a few books. You recognized some of them, others you didn’t. A red journal shoved in between two books caught your attention. You knew you shouldn’t look, but you were in too deep now. Your fingers gently tugged the book free, not a speck of dust was on it. It was red and there was a star on it. Your fingers traced the star and you heard the door creak open.

A gasp fell from your lips and you turned to face the door, seeing Bucky standing there. “Bucky!” You squealed, holding the book to your chest, your heart racing and your breathing heavy. Bucky walked in and over to you, making you gulp. This must be his room and he didn’t look pleased to see you in here. Actually, you couldn’t tell how he felt. His eyes and expression were unreadable.

Bucky stood in front of you, his body towering over yours. His hand reached up and he tugged the book from your chest, his eyes glancing at your cleavage again. You took a shaky breath and Bucky leaned closer to you, his torso resting against your chest. Bucky slid the book back in its rightful place and you licked your lips nervously.

Bucky leaned back a little, his hand rising up to hold your waist. You gasped softly. “I-I’m sorry, I just-I, uh, I forgot my floor number.” You said quietly, looking up at Bucky. He held your waist with both hands now and he leaned back enough to look into your eyes. You felt small under his gaze, his blue eyes staring into yours. “Bucky?” You asked softly as he started leaning into you.

Your breath was uneven and Bucky’s lips ghosted over yours. “Tell me to stop.” Bucky whispered, his breath fanning over your mouth. Your eyelids fluttered a little and you felt Bucky squeeze your waist. You looked into Bucky’s eyes. “I-I,” you breathed, “Don’t.” You whispered back.

Bucky’s lips quirked into a smile and he leaned in, pressing his lips to yours. You let your hands rest on his forearms, letting them glide up his arms and to his shoulders as you kissed him back. Bucky’s lips were soft and plump, perfectly moving with yours. You let your eyes flutter shut and sighed into the kiss.

Bucky pulled you closer and your wrapped your arms around his neck, standing on your toes. Bucky easily picked you up as the kiss deepened, wrapping your legs around his waist. You carefully pulled out his hair tie, letting his thick hair fall, only to be tangled by your fingers. You gently tugged on it, hearing Bucky groan into the kiss.

He pulled away, your lips and his making a smacking sound. You breathed heavily, Bucky doing the same. He gently laid you down on your back on his bed, keeping your legs wrapped around him. His lips connected with yours again and you felt his tongue poke against your bottom lip. You opened your mouth, letting your tongue wrestle with his.

A moan fell from your lips and Bucky’s hands lifted your dress up, resting his hands on your thighs. Bucky ground his hips against yours and you moaned, feeling his crotch rub against you. His lips attached to the side of your neck and you gasped, tilting your head so he had better access. “Bucky.” You breathed, feeling him sucking on your pulse point. Bucky smirked against you and stopped sucking before he left a mark.

Bucky pulled away from you and you turned to look at him. His lips were wet and red from kissing you. “You’re so beautiful, Doll.” Bucky said, his hand gently caressing your cheek. You blushed and looked away from Bucky. “Hey,” Bucky kissed your cheek, “Look at me, Doll.” Bucky said softly. You giggled and looked at Bucky again, his eyes looking into yours.

Bucky smiled and leaned in, pressing his lips against yours again. You kissed him back, letting your fingers run through his hair. Bucky gasped a little, grinding his hips into yours again. You moaned softly and suddenly heard someone calling your name. You gasped and Bucky moved off of you, clearing his throat.

You quickly stood off Bucky’s bed, straightening your dress. Bucky stood away from you, rushing over to his desk to casually lean against it. The door suddenly opened and Steve looked inside. “There you are! I’ve been searching for you guys!” Steve said, sighing out. He looked between you and Bucky, noticing both of your red cheeks and the slightly messed up bed.

Steve pointed to the bed, his eyebrows furrowed. Steve scratched the back of his head and you blushed, shifting on your feet. You shyly looked at Bucky and he was blushing like you were. “You-your, the bed, Bucky.” Steve said, his eyes widening. “Don’t tell my Dad! Please!” You begged, seeing Sam barge into the room now. His eyebrows raised and he caught on quicker. “No way!” Sam said, laughing.

You groaned and walked over to Sam and Steve. “Promise me you won’t tell!” You pleaded as Bucky walked up to you. His arm slithered around your waist and Steve sighed, eyeing Bucky. “I won’t.” Steve finally said, looking at Sam. Sam stopped laughing and cleared his throat. “You have my word.” Sam said, smirking at you. You sighed and thanked the two guys before they left.

You turned to Bucky and he smiled down at you. “That was close.” You breathed, shyly smiling at Bucky. He chuckled and pressed a kiss to your forehead. Your stomach erupted with butterflies. “Let’s go before someone else comes in.” Bucky said, grabbing your hand. You smiled, looking down at your joined hands, suddenly not caring if anyone saw it. Not even your dad.

You were happy you deicded to visit again.

Hung-up and Hungover (Bucky Barnes x reader)

Request:  Could I request a Bucky x reader fic where the reader totally kicks his ass at a drinking game or pool and he’s so in awe of her that he flat out admits that he has a crush on her as she’s celebrating her victory? :)

“Nope, you guys can’t play,” Tony argued, pointing at you and Clint, “you never miss, so that just sucks all the fun out of it for the rest of us.  Besides, this game of pool is for cash and posterity, and you’re broke, so…point made.”

Clint snorted in disgust and waved Tony off, shaking his head and pointing at you with the hand that held his half-empty beer bottle, “that’s not fair.  She misses all the time, no need to punish me for it.”

Avengers x Reader: Storm

Originally posted by science

(Author’s Note: Heyo, Rainy here!  Just a little something I wanted to post in between requests.  I was feeling kind of lonely last night and came up with this idea just because.  Just some silly fluff to cheer you up if you need it!   Also, gif is not mine. Credit to original owner!)

   It was an ordinary day in Avengers Tower.  No villains.  No evil plots or schemes to sabotage.  It seemed that the crappy weather had taken care of that.  Gray clouds seemed to cover the entire city of New York, and what little patches of sky were visible were dark as well.  Raindrops covered the windows and tap-tapped on the roof.

   Steve and Bucky sat on either end of the leather couch in the hangout at the top floor of Avengers Tower.  You stretched out across them, head resting on Bucky’s lap and legs dangling across Steve’s.  Both soldiers watched rather boredly as you flipped through the TV channels, one arm draped across your forehead dramatically.  It was a miserable day, and what better way to be bored than with your friends?

   Footsteps echoed on the smooth floor, signaling Tony Stark’s entrance.  The eccentric billionaire donned a t-shirt and pair of ripped jeans instead of a suit, which meant he had been busy working in the garage on his Iron Man tech.  He paced over to the bar to pour himself a quick glass of water, most likely parched from his work.  He gulped the clear liquid down, pausing to stare at the three of you in between gulps.  You, Bucky, and Steve stared back at him until, finally, he set the glass down and spoke.

   “Yeesh, what’s going on in here?  You all look miserable.”

   “Thanks. It’s really nice to see you too,” you quipped, giving him a look.

   “Yeah, I could tell by your faces when I walked in the room.  They just lit up.”  His retort earned a snort from each of you, and he stuffed his hands in his pockets, sparing a glance out the window.  “Weather’s got you down?”

   “I had plans to go out for a jog,” Steve explained, resting his chin on the palm of his hand.

   “And I wanted to visit the store.  We’re out of plums,” Bucky grumbled, arms folded.

   “Not to mention I was going to head down to Central Park for a relaxing afternoon out,” you added.  “Basically, the rain messed up all our plans.”

   “So we’re just here being bored together,” Bucky finished, eyes fixed on the TV screen which had gone static.

   Tony rolled his eyes unsympathetically, walking to stand in front of the TV screen.  “Okay, first of all, Steve, there is a very expensive workout room that I had built into the basement of the Tower, complete with a running track.”

   “It’s not really the same, you know?” Steve shrugged.  “I like being out in the morning air and seeing the sun come up.”

   Tony gave him a look, but moved on.  “And Bucky, are you really going to let rain come between you and your plums?  Man up, put on a trench coat, and go out.”

   “No.”

   Lastly, Tony’s gaze rested on you.  “_______, you do realize this is Avengers Tower.  We have an indoor pool, food, a library, food.  That sounds like a pretty relaxing afternoon to me.”

   “I’ve done all that stuff already,” you stretched your arms out and yawned.

   “Whatever.  It’s not like I invested a whole lot of money in-”  The pounding of rain on the windows increased until it nearly drowned out his voice.  A deafening boom of thunder sounded, and lightning flashed.

   “Wow.  That doesn’t sound too good,” you mused.  “We should turn the lights off.”

   Tony looked at you as if you had suggested everyone dress up as clowns and go running through the streets of New York..  “Why?”

   “To watch the storm.  I like feeling all safe and cozy inside while that craziness is happening outside.”

   “Me too,” Steve agreed.  “That’s a good idea.  Let’s do it.”

   Even Bucky’s usual scowl was replaced by a smile at the idea.  “I like the sound of that.”

   That was yet another reason why you got along with them so well.  Tony and the others were so reliant on technology, that they sometimes forgot to sit back and enjoy the simpler things in life.  Steve and Bucky enjoyed technology and its benefits, but like you, they were a bit old-fashioned and liked to step away and take time to appreciate other things.

   “Come on, Stark.  There’s more to life than heated pools and tinkering with robots,” Steve went on.

   “Even most of your library is digital,” you pointed out.

   “Yeah, pfft, electricity.  Who needs that?” Tony joked, waving his hand dismissively.  “Excuse me for taking advantage of modern conveniences.  Sorry I’m not a tree-hugging, bird-watching nymph like all of you.”

   Bucky snorted, and you laughed.  You sat up and went around the room, shutting off lights along the way.  Steve jumped to his feet and took care of the last set of lights before the two of you rejoined Bucky on the couch, you snuggled in between them.  The room was very dark, save for the dim light from the gray sky that seeped in through the windows.

   “Come sit,” you motioned for Tony to take a seat.  You could see his outline hesitate before shrugging and walking over to sit down on Bucky’s other side.  “There.  Isn’t this nice?”

   Thunder continued to boom, lightning flashed, and the rain thrummed against the windows harshly.  It might be a scary thing to witness, but snuggled in between two very good friends that you trusted, you felt safe and warm.

   “You know,” Tony broke the silence in the conversation.  “This is actually really nice.”

   “Yep,” you agreed with a nod.  “But something’s missing…”

   “We need a fort,” Steve chuckled.

   “Exactly.  See, this is why we’re friends.”  You jumped up and hurried out of the room before anyone could protest.  “Be right back!  I’m just going to grab some materials!”  You headed straight for the nearest closet full of sheets, towels, extra pillows, etc…And started gathering everything you could carry.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
   “I have to admit, when you mentioned a fort, I thought this would be stupid,” Tony confessed.  “But this…This right here is awesome.”
   “It’s perfect,” you agreed, tossing a couple of flashlights inside.
   Bucky was making the finishing touches, setting down a stack of books to hold a sheet in place.  Even you hadn’t expected it to turn out so cool.  It really was an impressive fort.
   “We good?” Steve asked.
   “Yeah, this should hold up just fine,” Bucky replied.  You dropped to your hands and knees and crawled in to bury yourself in the pile of blankets and pillows.  Bucky ducked in, chuckling as you rolled yourself up like a burrito.
    “Steve! Tony!  Come on in!” you called.
   Steve crawled in, following by Tony fumbling his way in.  Both of them found their own blankets and pillows and got comfortable.  The four of you turned your attention to the little window the group made so you could see the storm.  A loud boom of thunder sounded, and you rolled over to snuggle against Bucky’s side.
  “Comfortable?” he asked, unable to hide a small smile.
   You grinned up at him.  “Very”
   Tony shifted so that he was lying obnoxiously across your stomach.  “Me too.”
  “Dork.” You ruffled his hair.
   “Hey, not cool.”
   “Oh my gosh!” a new, but familiar, voice exclaimed from somewhere outside the fort.  “Is that a fort?”
   “Clint, care to join us?” Steve called.
  “Heck yeah!”  He bounded over to scrambled inside.  A few of you had to move over to make room.  “Wow, this is so cool.  You guys watching the storm?”
   “Yep, it’s actually more fun that I thought it would be,” Tony replied.
   “Nat would love this.”
   “Love what?”  The read-headed agent appeared at the entrance of the fort suddenly, making all of you jump in surprise.  Clint screamed.  “Calm down,” Natasha told him.  “It’s only me.”
   “And me.”
  “Bruce?” you questioned.  “Is that you?”
  “Oh gosh, we seriously are going to need more room,” Clint commented.  The next thing you knew, everyone was squeezed in beside each other in the fort.
   “This is ridiculous,” Natasha said, but you could see the smile on her face.
  “Rogers.  You wouldn’t mind getting your elbow out of my shoulder, would you?”
   “Well maybe your shoulder needs to get off my elbow, Tony.”
   Most of you were chuckling and playfully shoving each other.  Except Bruce, who was struggling with the fact he was in such a small space.  It was such a silly and fun time, a nice change from all the high-stress situations the lot of you were usually in.  Meanwhile, the storm went on outside.
  You thought it was unfortunate that the rest of the team couldn’t be there to enjoy it, but they had their own missions to deal with.  Your group spent the rest of the stormy evening talking and laughing over just about everything.  After the conversation died down, you all fell into a comfortable silence.  You were pretty sure you heard Tony snoring.  That guy almost never slept, so this was probably good for him. It was so calming that you felt your eyelids growing heavy.
   “Go ahead and sleep, doll,” Bucky told you quietly, patting your shoulder.
   “Yes.  Sleep.  Just please don’t snore.”
   “Shut up, Barton.”
A So Called Blind Date
Summary: After not wanting to celebrate his birthday, Steve and Tony convince Bucky to go to a “Blind Date”.
Pairing: Bucky Barnes x Reader
Word Count: 1780
Warnings: angst at the end, mentioning of german food
A/N: yooo guess who’s back after her unplanned break of 141 days? I am so so sorry guys. You have no idea how many times I tried to write but just couldn’t. But for now, I’m back with the usual portion of fluff and angst <3 I hope you like it!
“You did what?” Steve asked, shoving his left hand through his hair before he let it fall to his side again. He looked at Tony, shook his head (twice) and then started scratching the back of his neck. He didn’t know what to say. Not after the thing Tony had just told him.
“The guy’s a hundred years old, Steve”, Tony defended himself. “He didn’t even want a birthday party. That’s the least we should do for him. When was the last time he was on a date? With a cute girl in a pretty dress? Huh? 1941?”
“That’s not…” Steve tried to say but Tony waved it off and Steve shrugged. Maybe Tony was right. Bucky didn’t want to talk to Steve about his birthday. Not to him, nor to Natasha or to Clint who he had kind of become good friends with in the past few months.
“It’s good to have a date every once in a while Steve. Even when he’s not ‘looking for something’”, Tony made some quotation marks in the air and rolled his eyes. The last time Tony had suggested Bucky go on a date, this had been the exact answer he had been given.
That Bucky was too old. That he was carrying too many problems. That he was not looking for something. That he was just trying to be normal again if that was even possible for someone with a past like his.
   “You gotta get some experience Cap,” Tony mutters as he shakes his head, stuffing his hands in his pocket as they pass by the retro Strip Club, one that had ladies dating back to all sorts of times. You had your classic 80′s rocker, the 90′s grunge, the 70′s disco, the 60′s flower child, and Tony’s personaly favorite the 1940′s showgirl. “It’s completely authentic Cap, it’ll be reminiscent!”
   “I don’t remember any strip clubs back in my day, “ Steve mutters as he nearly throws open the door, the old piece of wood smacking against the equally old brick. With an angry sigh he stuffed his hands into his pants pocket as he trudged into the club, his gaze raking over all the different girls. It was obviously a break of some sort for they had all congregated in the front room, not in their individual blast from the past showrooms. All the girls, some of them the drapper 30′s girls straight to the early 2000′s ones all sat around, either smoking or drinking, maybe chatting with one another. Every pair of eyes land on the two as they walk in and Steve can practically feel them undressing him on the spot.
   “Hey girls!” Tony calls out boisterously, waving flirtatiously to some of the strippers. “We could a little problem here,”
   “We’re on lunch break, sorry,” One of the girls gives him a small smile as she takes a drag from her cigar. If Steve guessed right she looked like she belonged to the 70′s era.
   “Would uh- this convince you otherwise?” Tony waves a wad of cash in the air, watching as the girls followed his hand hungrily.
   “Hm…” One of the girls rose from her seat, showcasing her rather voluptuous form. “I’m sure I could work on Mr. Tall and Blonde for ya,” She sways her hips as she walks towards the two, stopping just in front of Steve. “He’s pretty cute if I do say so myself,”
   “Tony-” Steve begins, casting his friend a side glance when he stopped, his eyes catching onto one of the girls lingering in a corner, sitting by herself but still there. The dark of the room almost shadowed them but Steve would recognize that face anywhere. “(Y/N),” Steve sounds just the tiniest bit confused, his brows furrowed as he gazed into the corner. Tony perks up a bit too, his gaze travelling over the girls until they landed on the shadowy figure in the corner.
   “Well I’ll be damned,” Tony chuckles, stuffing his money away as he made his way towards (Y/N)’s table. “Looks like we got yourselves quite the showgirl,” Tony clicks his tongue as he takes a seat right next to (Y/N), giving them a sort of twisted smile. “How perfect for our very own Captain America,”
    “Leave me alone Tony,” (Y/N) mutters, folding her arms over her chest as she huffed just a bit. Even in the poor lighting Steve could see how exhausted (Y/N) looked, not even her copious amount of makeup could cover up just how tired she was.
   “I’ve got money (Y/N) and if you’re working here you obviously need it-”
   “Tony,’ Steve warns, his tone light for now.
   “I just want to know why our precious little (Y/N) is out here, working that pert little ass off for money when she doesn’t need it,” (Y/N) bites her lip, blushing just the tiniest bit. “You’re so conservative at the tower, always covering up, damn- I didn’t even know you looked this good,” Tony licks his lips, allowing his gaze to travel up and down (Y/N)’s exposed body.
   “Tony, that’s enough,” Steve growls, his patience running thin. “(Y/N) must have a good reason for working here, right?’ Steve looks to her, hoping his gaze was sympathetic. (Y/N) looks at Steve with almost shame filled eyes as she nods her head.
   “I need the money for college, I can’t pay with a regular job but working here is sufficing,”
   “You know,” Tony leans forward, getting way too close to (Y/N) to Steve’s liking. “If you gave me my own private little show I’m sure I could pay you those college loans for ya,” Tony’s lips brush against (Y/N)’s ear and the flinch, her face taking up an expression of both horror and distaste.
   “Tony, stop-” (Y/N) whispers, attempting to push away from the man but he remained steadfast, quickly grabbing onto (Y/N) to keep her in place. That was all Steve needed to rip Tony away from (Y/N) and shove him against the wall, his elbow digging into his throat.
   “When a woman tells you to stop you better fucking stop, got that?” Steve growls, pushing his elbow against Tony’s neck even more. The man coughs and chokes, clawing at Steve’s arm to let him go. Somewhere behind him the girls are all whispering about Steve and Tony and no doubt (Y/N) as well. “Do you understand Stark?” Tony nods weakly, clutching at Steve’s arm fruitlessly. With an angry grunt Steve let Tony fall to the floor, instead turning to (Y/N) to ask if she was okay.
   “Are you okay?” Steve asks, his tone much lighter than it had been a few seconds ago. (Y/N) nods meekly, pursing her lips as she does.
   “Wouldn’t be the first time something like that has happened to me,” (Y/N) smiles sadly and Steve can nearly feel his heart break.
   “When do you get off work doll?” The nickname slides from his lips easily, almost unconsciously. (Y/N) smiles just a bit, rubbing at her arms in the chill of the club.
   “A few minutes actually,”
   “How bout you get dressed and I can take you out to that cafe you like so much?” (Y/N) smiles even more as she nods, her spirits slowly but surely rising.
   “I’d love that,” (Y/N) brushes past Steve, stopping by his side to give his cheek one little peck, one that had Steve’s cheeks ablaze and his heart hammering.
   “Thanks Stevie,” (Y/N) whispers, their lips brushing against his cheek with each word. “I think I owe you your own private show sometime,” Steve’s cheeks flush even more, and he swears his heart presses against his chest with how fast it’s beating.
   “Let me take you on a few dates first,” Steve smiles sheepishly. (Y/N) only smiles, nodding their head as they do.
   “Cafe is date number one, bookstore is the second one next week, that okay with you?” Steve nods, a little unbelieving chuckle falling from his lips.
   “That’s perfectly fine with me,”
