‘Take a picture, Y/N, it will last longer.’ A voice teased you, snapping you out of your daze.

Shaking your head you smiled at the male before you, ‘My phone only has pictures of you, Chullie.’

‘Then you should consider yourself lucky to have all those handsome pictures.’ He ruffled your hair, ‘I have to get going, see you tonight for our weekly movie night?’

‘More like our weekly ‘Frozen’, movie night,’ You tease, earning an eye roll from the elder.

‘Oh how you know me so well,’ He pecked your cheek, ‘See you tonight.’

You and Kim Heechul had been best friends from the day you could possibly talk. You had met him on the play ground as a toddler and you two had been inseparable since then. Your relationship with Heechul was something of a normal friendship, but as you were getting older and wiser, you found yourself falling in love with him.

‘You are making this way to obvious,’ Someone took a seat next to you, ‘Like I am shocked he hasn’t even notice.’

‘Hello to you too, Kyuhyun,’ You looked at the younger in front of you.

‘Hey noona,’ He grinned, ‘You have to tell him sooner or later.’

‘I have no idea what you are talking about.’

‘Don’t act dumb, surprisingly, it isn’t cute on you.’

Panicking slightly, you looked at your watch and excused yourself, ‘Oh look at that, I have to go. Bye!’

Quickly grabbing you belongings you walked to your car. Shutting the door, you took a deep breath and rested your head on the wheel. If Kyuhyun was noticing, you wondered if Heechul did and he was just playing it off cool. Not wanting to over think things, you just drive home and get all the preparations for tonight. Duvets, junk food and some tissues because the sassy male that is Kim Heechul, always shed a tear during the film. All cosy in your onesie, you grab your phone that was ringing.

‘Hello?’ You answer.

‘Hey Y/N,’ Heechul asked.

‘Everything is set, are you on your way?’

‘About that…listen can I have a rain check on tonight?’

‘What do you mean?’

‘I am going to have dinner with Hani, she just asked me and you know my rela-’

‘It’s okay, she is important to you and I get that. Have fun.’

With that you hung up and was reminded why you have never confessed to Heechul. He had plenty of female friends that were more suitable to being his girlfriend, much like Hani. She was beautiful, funny and an idol. Everything you didn’t consider yourself. Sighing, you looked at the cosy set up in front of you and couldn’t help but start tearing up.

‘Yah!’ Heechul shouted through the phone, ‘Are you ignoring me?’

‘Jesus calm down, you are going to make me deaf, Heechul.’

‘Then answer my question?!’

It had been a few weeks since Heechul sort of stood you up. Since that day you were very wary around him. You weren’t with him as much and you used to be but it was also because he had a busy schedule. But it wasn’t only physical, but also through the phone. Your long phone calls and text message conversations ended quickly or weren’t as long as they used to be.

‘I have just been busy,’ You were blunt.

‘So busy you can’t see me?’ He questioned.

‘Stop being so over dramatic,’ You rolled your eyes, ‘Plus I know you have been busy as well, aren’t you going out with Momo and Kyunghoon tonight?’ You were trying hard to not show that your voice was cracking on the other side of the phone, ‘I have to go, bye.’

‘What the hell?’ Heechul looked at the phone in his hand, ‘Did she just hang up on me?!’

‘Why are you talking to yourself, hyung?’ Yesung asked, walking into the studio, ‘Are you officially going crazy?’

‘Shut it, Yesung.’ Heechul snapped.

‘What has you all upset?’ Yesung asked with a raised brow.

‘It’s Y/N.’ He confessed, ‘She is ignoring me and I don’t like being ignored.’

Before Yesung could reply, Heechul had walked outside and hit your number again waiting for you to pick up. After a few rings, the call was finally answered, ‘Hello?’

‘Y/N?’ Heechul asked, pulling the phone to see the screen if he phoned you and not someone by mistake.

‘Y/N is in the bathroom.’ The voice was male.

‘And you are?’

‘Oh, I am Sawoo.’

‘And who are you Sawoo and why are you answering Y/N’s phone?’

‘She is just getting ready,’ The male chuckled, ‘We are going out for a date.’

‘Yes, should I take a message? Hello?’

Heechul cut the call and ran to his car. His blood was boiling because he didn’t like the idea of you going on a date with a man he had never met. Stepping on the gas he arrived at your apartment building. He waited for the elevator. He was frantically tapping his foot on the floor waiting for the doors to open. Punching in the code to your apartment, he swung the door open with a force that shocked both you and your date.

‘You,’ He pointed at Sawoo, ‘Leave.’

‘Sorry but-’

You looked at Sawoo with a sigh, ‘It’s fine, just go.’

‘No I will not lea-’

‘For god’s sake.’ Heechul grabbed him by the collar and all but threw him out into the hall way.

‘What the fuck, Heechul!’ You shouted as the door slammed, ‘What are you doing?!’

‘Me? I should be asking you the same question.’

‘Says the man who just threw my date out.’

‘Who is that man anyway?’ He pointed at the door, ‘First you ignore me for the past few weeks and now you are dating some person I don’t even know?!’

‘You are not my father, Heechul,’ You fold your arms.

‘You’re right, I ain’t, but I am your best friend!’

‘A BEST FRIEND THAT DITCHED ME FOR A GIRL!’ You finally screamed, and he looked at you in silence.

You were never a jealous person in general. You knew Heechul was comfortable with many women, but it was starting to affect you so badly that keeping him at a distance was the only way you could fight the urge from spilling your true feelings.

‘You said you were okay with it?!’ He pointed out.

‘Well I lied,’ You rolled your eyes, walking to the door and opening it ‘Now leave!’

‘I am not some commoner you can throw out, Y/N,’ He hissed, ‘I am not done here!’

‘Well I am, not get out!’ Pushing him out, you closed the door before he could come back inside.

Locking it, you could hear him punching the code frantically and trying to open the door. Tears rolled down your cheeks as he banged on the door wanting to enter. Shutting your eyes you sobbed in silence. Three days passed and you hadn’t spoke or even seen Heechul. You sat on your bed with boxes of tissues around you and your best friend consoling you.

‘Are you feeling any better?’ She asked.

‘Do I look any better?’ You asked, blowing your nose that you didn’t hear your front door open and close, ‘I hate this feeling!’

‘That’s what love is, sweetheart.’ She rubbed your back gently, a person standing slightly off to the left of your doorway, ‘You love him, don’t you?’

‘More then anything,’ You expressed, ‘More then a sibling…more then a friend’

‘Then tell him.’ She urged.

‘Yeah tell him.’ The person revealed themselves.

‘Heechul!?’ You both said in unison.

‘You mind leaving us alone for a little?’ He asked your friend.

Giving her a slight nod, she hugged you and left. Heechul was in a pair of black jeans and a large red sweater. He looked horrible and depriving sleep. His hair was a mess on his head as he walked towards the bed and looked at you.

‘What are you doing here?’ You asked.

‘So you like me, eh?’

‘Don’t lie, I heard your confession.’

‘Fine I like you, probably love,’ You threw your hands up, ‘There, are you happy?’

‘How long has it been?’ His voice soft.

‘Does it really ma-’

‘How long!’ His voice rough voice cutting you off.

‘A few months if not a year.’

‘Why haven’t you told me?’

‘Well forgive me Heechul, but why would I?’ You asked, ‘It’s not like you would have cared.’

‘How could I not care?’ Something sad in his voice, ‘I care for you, Y/N and I know that isn’t the truth to why you didn’t tell me.’

Sighing you looked down at your hands in your lap, ‘I was scared. You have all these beautiful woman around you all the time, whether they are friends or fans. I am not like them, I ain’t funny, sexy, talented….I am just me.’

‘Exactly,’ He took a seat on the bed, tilting your chin up to meet his soft eyes, ‘You ain’t any of that. You are smart and beautiful in my eyes. A few days ago when I heard you going out with another man, I didn’t like the feeling it gave me Y/N. I didn’t like the feeling of being shut out because I love you more then a sibling and a friend.’

Before you could even say his name, he claimed your soft lips. You were stiff at the sudden contact but soon melted into his touch. The touch that felt safe and comfortable. The touch that felt like home. Your eyes shut and the tears that threatened to fall earlier suddenly stained your cheek as you kissed him. His plush lips enveloped yours with a gentle touch. He pulled apart and wiped your cheek with his thumb before pressing your foreheads together and whispering.

‘You will always be perfect in my eyes….’

Dean x Reader

Word count: 2.1k

The guys call you to help out on a case after not seeing you for a long time. The reader has a secret that she has to tell them.

Warnings: description of violence, smut, language, ABO-ish (not ABO though), talk of suicide, the plot is kinda corny but I hope you get a laugh.

A/N: This was written for @impala-dreamer ’s One Prompt for All Challenge. “If I didn’t know any better, I’d think you were trying to kill me.”

Three years had past since you last saw the Winchesters, it feels like a lifetime and for a hunter it kind of is. You three used to be inseparable until Dean pushed you way afraid that you would get hurt or killed because of them. He told you that he felt cursed, that seems so funny now.
You drove all night with the wind rushing through your hair to keep you awake, until you reached the motel that they were staying at. They needed your help because the case they are working on is at a women’s only day spa. The shopping center had been converted from an old hospital and a ghost had been scaring some of the customers. Luckily, the spirit hadn’t killed anyone yet. Dean told you that he and Sam had acted like a couple of gay guys to get access but there was no dice, the owners were adamant that their establishment was strictly women’s only for religious reasons. You chuckled to yourself at the thought of Dean in skinny jeans, and maybe some guy liner or better yet him holding Sammy’s hand. It only got funnier the more you thought about.

Sorry, that it’s been so long. But finals and projects have been killing me. I hope it’s okay!

She rubbed her face, before sending a glare towards the weak initiates. The two on the mat, were so weak they made her want to slam her head against the wall. She had no idea how Four handled them, and how weak they were and spineless they were.

“Off the mat and line up,” She shouted, going over to walk in front of them, keeping the glare to show how pissed off she was. “You guys can’t even handle fighting each other, it’s pathetic. I feel like I’m training children, not young adults who want to be dauntless soldiers.” She stopped in front of the beefiest boy, gesturing for him to head to the mat. She glanced back at the initiates deciding to take a page out of Eric’s book. She snapped her fingers at the small Candor boy.

Y/N moved back to her place, watching the two in the middle eye each other. “The first to get knocked out, wins.” She knew from the Candor boy was scared by the way he was trembling slightly. “FIGHT!”

She watched the scene unfold before her, shockingly amazed at the Candor boy. “You seem more on edge than usual,” She heard voice come from behind her, leaning against the wall next to her.

“They are going to fail. They don’t listen, they don’t want this. I feel like Eric should be in here to scare them shitless,” She commented seeing the Candor boy get knocked down. “How do you do it? The Dauntless born have more of a drive then this bunch.”

“Patience, and sticking them on each other helps. If they fail, they fail. As for Eric, becareful what you wish for,” His eyes darted toward the door where Eric was walking in.

Her eyes trained back towards the initiates on the mat. She smirked when she saw the Candor boy still fighting, against the beefy kid. The smirk disappeared once the beef kid knocked the Candor boy out. She watched the beefy kid smirk down at the Candor boy, while she grew more angry. She gave him that win. She walked towards the the cocky kid. “Who’s next?”

The kid smirked at her, while she raised an eyebrow at him. “Who do you want?” She watched as he pretended to look at the initiates before he chose her. She smirked, nodding bending down to take her boots off.

“Y/N, what are you doing,” Eric called, while she stepped on the mat already knowing the beefy kids weakness.

“Showing the weak what strong looks like.” She murmured keeping her eyes on the kid. “Same rules still apply. Four, you can all out.”

She darted towards the guy kicking out his legs. She let him get up, while still on the balls of her feet. “C’mon, you wanna get cocky after I gave you a win.” She sent her foot crashing to his face, when he ran at her. Y/N watched the blood gush from his nose with a sickly satisfaction. “Hurry up, decide. Decide if you want to get up and go out like a soldier, or cower like the coward you are!” He ran at her with a yell, while she ducked missing his sloppy punches. She grasped his arm, before she slammed her fist into his face. “We raise fighters,” She grabbed his hair bringing his face into her knee. “Fight like a goddamn soldier,” She slammed her knee into his face again, while the beefy kid gave up slumping. “Pathetic,” She left him kneeling, before she sent her foot flying into his face again, knocking him out. She glared at the initiates, “who’s next?”

Y/N wanted to scream when the dinner alarm rang. “Alright! You’re dismissed!” Eric’s voice called while Four came forward handing me my boots.

“I think next year, I’m going to the Dauntless born. They’re weak and they refuse to allow us to mold them,” She hissed, lacing her semi dirty boots. “What do you want Eric?”

He sent her a predatory like grin, before he glared at Four. “Beat it Stiff.”

Y/N rolled her eyes, before standing up. “Four, save me a seat. But please not by the initiates.” She asked, while he nodded raising an eyebrow at Eric. He moved away from us heading towards the door. “What do you want?”

He still had the sly smirk on his face. “You looked hot beating the initiate up,” He moved so he was close to her, she could smell the soap and the slight hint of smoke.

“What do you want Eric,” She recited seeing his new tattoo editions. “I’m hungry and I really don’t feel like standing here listening to you spout bullshit.”

“Max said we have to go on  a raid tonight,” Eric grinned like the sick bastard he was. Only he could get joy out of taking more from those who had nothing. “I mean I know you had nothing planned so I told Max that you’d be the other leader along side me.”

She sighed, running her fingers through her hair. She was irritated that he had just offered her up when she was busy tonight. “I actually was busy tonight, but since you need the best I guess I can cancel. Anything else?”

“You busy? Right,” He laughed while she turned towards the door. “What were you planning on actually going out tonight?”

“Is that so hard to believe?” She hissed back seeing his stupid smirk still on his face. “God, you’re such an ass and I have no idea how I consider you a friend.”

“Where you actually going to go out tonight,” She saw his face turn serious, leaning against the table. To her he actually seemed upset at the thought of her actually having a life.

“Yeah, Danny invited me to have a drink. So I thought why not,” She shrugged, thinking of the dark haired guy who always worked on her tattoos. “But I can go tonight.”

“Forget it,” He snarled, pushing past her towards the door. Her own anger sparked and she reached out grabbing his arm.

“What the hell is up with you,” She hissed, unfazed by his pissed off demeanor. “Seriously, why the hell are you upset that for once I have-”

She was cut off short by large hands grasping her face and pulling her into a searing kiss. She froze at first unable to move, but she relaxed into him gripping him closer getting lost in his harsh yet soft lips. Before he pulled away, “That’s why.” She watched him walk off, while she stayed silent still in shock that he had kissed her and she had kissed him back.

She sat beside Four lost in her thoughts. “What’s wrong with you?” She looked up seeing Four’s curious brown eyes. “You’re usually not this quiet.”

“I have to do something tonight, and I have to cancel with Danny. I would ask you to help, but I know you don’t like raids,” It wasn’t a total lie, but she wasn’t Candor so it shouldn’t matter.

Four gave her a look as if he didn’t believe her, but he dropped the subject. She looked up seeing Eric and Max, Eric met her eyes before rolling them. Typical ass. “Y/N!” She jumped when an arm was thrown across her shoulders and green eyes stared at her. “Are you still up for tonight?”

She glanced away from Eric smiling at the tattoo artist. “Sorry, but something urgent came up. I’m needed somewhere else.”

“Bummer,” Danny grinned, but the look in his eyes dimmed. “Maybe next time?”

“Yeah,” She smiled back, while sliding her chocolate cake over to Four. “I’m going to go get ready for tonight. “See you Danny.” Y/N left the table trailing her fingers over her lips, no matter what she did, she could still feel Eric’s lips.

She frowned to herself, she was acting like some teenage child, unlike the adult soldier she was. She sighed grabbing her clothes changing into something darker for tonight. She refused to let this get to her, there was an assignment that needed to be done and she was going to get it done, no matter how much she hated raiding the Factionless.

Y/N sighed waiting for the others getting prepared, while waiting for Eric to show. “Was it just me or was the chocolate cake extra good tonight,” Jake grinned tossing his arm over her shoulder. She grinned at him, before remembering that she had given her cake to Four. “C’mon Y/N, where’s my chocolate buddy at?”

“Enough, the train will be here in three minutes,” Eric yelled while she yawned into her shoulder. The lack of sugar made her tired. “Tired L/N? Maybe you shouldn’t go,” Eric sneered pushing past her shoulder harshly.

She rolled her eyes debating whether or not to shoot him in his leg. She shrugged Jake’s arm off, breaking into a run when she saw the train. She grabbed the door, hauling herself in sitting on one of the boxes. She watched Eric haul his ass in before shooting a death glare at her. Once everyone was in, Eric growled out what the plan was. They would all be paired into two, each of them searching the factionless for any contraband. She stood up, standing next to Eric. “Are you going to be pissy throughout this whole thing?”

“Shut the fuck up,” He glared at her, moving towards Zora. “You’re with me,” He growled out standing next to her, while she batted her eyelashes at him.

Y/N rolled her eyes again. Sick bastard. “Jake, you better not get me killed.” She looked over to her left seeing Jake’s twitchy self.

She crouched behind a crate shielding herself from the bullets. The Factionless had gotten their hands on guns and they were picking them off one by one. She frowned seeing Jake’s limp body, before looking to see if there was anyone around her. She grumbled when she noticed that she was alone, she was probably going to die here. She breathed in calming her mind, before she stood up aiming, shooting down a few Factionless. She ran ducking away from the flying bullets, she cried out when she felt pain on her right leg. Y/N dragged herself behind the wood boxes, trying to calm herself down. She knew that she wasn’t going to be able to make it out alive, but she wasn’t going to give up. She ripped her shirt tying it around her wound on her lower leg, before checking how many bullets she had left. Shit. She only had 10. Ten fucking bullets. She could heard the crunch of gravel behind her and from the sound of it, it was more than ten people. She tensed and aimed her rifle, before bright lights were shining on her. She let go of the rifle when she saw some of her friends.

“What the hell too you guys so long,” She hissed, standing up. “I was almost out of bullets.”

Y/N watched Four step forward grasping her before she lost her balance. “We lost Jake. I don’t know where the others went, but most followed Eric.”

“Why didn’t you,” The short blonde haired girl snapped. “Jake was probably killed because of you.”

“You dumb shit, he got wounded in the leg. Unlike you I stay with my partner.” She hissed lunging forward while Four held her back.

She smirked before Max sent her a death glare.  “Four, take her to the vehicle.” Four nodded and began hauling her weight towards the truck. “And Y/N, don’t punch and kick any of the staff.”

Y/N still had her eyes on the blonde girl. “At least we know she would never make it in leadership.” She made sure her voice was loud enough so that the ugly blonde heard her. Y/N smirked in triumph when the blonde shot a death glare at her. As if it would scare her. “Great now I have to be weak in front of the initiates.”

Four rolled his eyes hauling her up into the truck, ordering them to return back to the Dauntless HQ. “Are you going to be friendly or do they have to sedate you?”

She glared at him while he sent her a smirk. “What do you think?”

She opened her E/C eyes, damning Four internally for letting them sedate her. She glared at the harsh white lights, sitting up. She looked around the room seeing a few injured Dauntless laying in the other beds. She made a move to get up, only for her to curse at the pain radiating up her leg. She sighed grabbing the sweats that were beside her, she whimpered lowly while she struggled to put on the stupid sweats.

“What the hell are you doing,” She dropped the sweats cursing Eric internally when she realized she couldn’t reach the sweats. She heard his boots against the floor, not looking at him in her weakened state. “You need to be resting.”

“I need to go home,” She whispered looking down at the sweats. This is one place she dreaded with all of her heart. This is where she was brought when her parents died, she hated the clean smell and the bright lights. This place was death to her and she wanted out.

“You wouldn’t be here if you would’ve just-” Eric bent down grabbing her sweats, offering them up to her. “Are you alright?”

“Fine,” She hissed grabbing her sweats going back to struggling to put her pants on. Eric sighed grabbing her sweats back from her grasping her injured leg lightly before pulling her sweats up. “I didn’t need your help, I would’ve did it eventually.”

“Well I just did it for you, so how about a thank you,” Eric grinned grabbing her boots, helping her put her feet in. Once her feet were in he tried to help her up, but she shoved his arm away moving to get down. Falling forward, with a yelp she braced herself for the pain. She hit the floor with a thump, breathing fast trying to control the pain. “Are you ready for my help now or do you still wanna be stubborn? Your choice.”

“You’re such as ass,” She whimpered while she felt his arms grasp her up, holding her to his chest. “Just please get me out of here,” She breathed blinking away the tears. He nodded, hauling her into his arms carrying her. She clenched her teeth together, knowing how weak she was and the way he was carrying her made her seem even more helpless than she felt.

Eric set her down on her couch, before sitting on her coffee table raising an eyebrow at her. She held his gaze, while he leaned forward pushing her hair away from her face. “I’m sorry you got shot.”

She blinked a few times before she tried not to look shocked. He was never one to apologize. “Unexpected things happen when the Factionless are involved. It’s not your fault.” She yawned, blinking tiredly.

“You should get some rest,” Eric murmured moving to help her up.

She pushed his hands away, gesturing for him to sit down. “Just stay here with me.” He raised an eyebrow at her, before shrugging his shoulders sitting beside her. She leaned into him, feeling him tense slightly. “I’m hoping your done being an ass so we can talk..”

“Talk about what? I kissed you, you kissed back. Done,” He said, moving slightly so she was more comfortable. “I’m here with you so you know where I stand.”

“Say it… I want you to say it,” She glanced up at him, before laying back down on him.

“I want you,” His voice made her smile before she lifted herself onto his lap, wincing at her pain. “No games. No one else. Just you.” He placed his hand on her cheek.

“Just me, huh?” She couldn’t help but grin, while she set her hand on his. “Let’s try this then. No one else, just us.”

Chapter Fourteen

A Conflicted New Home

Previous Chapter

Ship: Kylo Ren x Reader

Rating: M

A/N: *awkward nervous laughter*

You stood in the small cramped bathroom in you quarters, inspecting your body in front of the tiny mirror with scrutiny. Small markings you had never noticed on your skin making you feel self-conscious of yourself. Slowly, you traced a finger down the center of your chest, feeling the soft skin as you reached your belly button. You had never really looked at yourself the way you were now.

How long had it been? you wondered with a frown. When was the last time you had been with a man? You were still currently young, but it had been years since you felt a man the way you were going to tonight. You swallowed hard, considering your situation.

Your last boyfriend was over 7 years ago when your father hired two village boys to help fix up your home one season. It wasn’t real love. Something like that didn’t occur at such a young age. The two of you had just been curious about each other.

You cringed at the memories.

So what was it like to really sleep with a man? Was this going to be a mistake like the last time? Would you regret it in years to come?

The feelings you were acquiring for Ren floored you. You couldn’t understand why you felt like this towards him. Hadn’t you been disgusted with him just a few weeks previous? But the way he had saved you and cared for you that night. The way he kissed you so passionately that it made you forget of every moral that was ever instilled upon you. He made an effort not to conceal his emotions from you, but you couldn’t help but think he might feel the same.

You considered your suitcase for a moment as you walked into your room. On top was your uniform that was washed almost daily. Tucked neatly underneath were your civilian clothes, the fabrics you remembered so fondly from less confusing days. Instead of reaching for your usual uniform, you grabbed your civilian clothes and pulled them over your head.

You returned to the bathroom, flattening out your blouse with the palms of your hands. You blinked at yourself, wondering how you had gotten to this situation. What would those back home think of you? How had you gone from counseling troubled individuals to consciously making the decision to sleep to sleep with one?

How had you so quickly adopted feelings for him without even realizing it?

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

You stepped out of your quarters and quietly slid the door closed behind you. The lights in the hallway were dimmed to signal the curfew that was instated after eleven o’clock. You left your hair down, its waves falling gently in front of your face as you bent down to remove your heels. You wanted to make the least amount of noise possible.

What if General Hux caught you heading in the direction of Ren’s room in civilian clothes? What would he say? What would they do?

Carefully, you raped your knuckles against the metal door, hesitating one last time as you thought about turning back. The door slid open almost instantaneously and you took a step in, feeling your heart hammering against your ribcage.

“Master Ren?” you called out into the dark, noticing the silence that filled the room. You looked over at the machinery from where you stood, noting the significant lack of hum that normally graced your ears upon entrance. As your eyes adjusted to the dimly lit room, you noticed the technology that surrounded you wasn’t just switched off, it was mostly destroyed. You walked over to the machinery and traced a finger over a gaping slice that traveled across metal.

“Master Ren?” you turned to walk into his quarters, noticing things there were out of place.

“Please, do not call me that anymore.” You flinched at the sudden sound of his voice as it pierced through the quiet room. You turned your head and your eyes finally landed on Ren as he sat in a chair across from his grandfather’s archaic helmet.

“My apologies,” you cocked your eyebrow in curiosity. “I assumed that was-”

“That is not what I preferred to be called, no. You should know better by now,” He replied, his voice absent of any emotion. He didn’t look at you as he sat hunched over in the dark, his elbows resting on the tops of his knees.

“Is everything alright?” you asked hesitantly, your anxious demeanor flittering away, replacing itself with concern for the dark ruler. He didn’t respond to you as you stared at his back, the material of his uniform stretching tightly over his shoulders.

“What happened?” your voice was quiet, unsure of how to approach this situation. This was not at all what you had expected to come across when you walked through his door. You walked over to him and knelt down, placing a gentle hand on his knee. Finally, he looked over at you. Almost immediately, you noticed the deepened purplish bags that had formed overnight under his eyes.

“What happened?” you repeated softly, your eyebrows peaking in concern.

“I do not wish to talk about it,” he told you, looking away. “You came here for something much different. Not to listen to my problems as we usually do.”

“I don’t mind,” you offered with a small encouraging smile. “I am here to-”

Abruptly, he stood up and closed the curtain which concealed Darth Vader’s mask. You frowned, your hand falling back to your side as you watched him walk to the other side of the room. You sighed heavily and stood up, unsure of how to tackle this obstacle. Out of the corner of your eye, you noticed a door that was partially slid open. You paused, your heart jumping into your throat as you realized it was his bedroom, the black sheets pulled over the mattress tightly with precision.

“Perhaps I should come back another night,” you offered quietly, prying your eyes off the sight of his bedroom.

He turned and looked over at you, his expression desolate. You could feel your body almost pause completely as you realized the raw emotion that was radiating from him. You had never seen such a response from him, with the exception of the occasional rage you had missed out on tonight. Your eyebrows fell in unsettlement.

Quietly, you walked over to your usual chair and seated yourself, motioning for him to join you. Silently and almost reluctantly, he joined you, pushing his hair from his eyes.

“Tell me what happened,” you leaned forward, crossing your legs as you folded your hands at your knees. You thought again how this was anything but what you expected to come across this evening. You almost felt a twinge of disappointment, but mostly relief. Perhaps you just weren’t ready for that next step yet.

Ren paused, lifting his chin as his eyebrows knitted themselves together.

“I feel it,” he sneered, his voice betraying his facial expression with sadness. “I feel the pull towards the light.”

You blinked at him, frowning at his struggle for words.

“I wish to rid myself of this pain I am feeling. Of the constant struggle each day with myself.”

You had never seen this side of Kylo, you realized. You had never seen emotion overcome him in such a way where he was almost at a loss for words. You didn’t know how to react, but you felt your chest pull in empathy. You never believed you would reach this point in your counseling relationship with him. You never thought he would open up to you like this.

“If I may ask, what triggered these feelings tonight?”

He paused, looking down at your crossed knees. “Supreme Leader enlightened me of the location of the BB droid we are seeking.”

“The one carrying the map to Luke Skywalker? But hadn’t General Hux sent men to Jakku yesterday to retrieve it?”

Ren nodded his head, a small scowl crossing his features. “The droid escaped with the help of a turncoat and a mere scavenger.”

“How unfortunate,” you sympathize, leaning back in your chair. Internally, you paused, realizing you were showing compassion for the dark side’s troubles.

A few moments passed before Ren spoke again, “the droid is aboard the Millenium Falcon with my father.”

You closed your eyes for a moment, the impact of his words resonating with you. You looked over at him, the illuminance from the stars showcased in his window outlining his profile in the dark.

“I’m sure this is an obstacle you can overcome easily,” you began softly. “You have already defeated so many other demons, this small obstacle should be easy for you.”

You paused, your fingers playing with the material of your skirt. He knew you were lying. You hesitated, considering your thoughts.

“From a personal point of view,” you began quietly, “I understand the feelings you’re experiencing.”

Your eyes flickered up to him as he continued to stare at your hands.

“You’re conflicted between your past and where you are now. You have a duty to fulfill, but you can’t help but feel the resonating guilt of what you abandoned to get where you are.” You paused for a moment, watching him as his eyes shut while listening. “You have desires that go against every rule you were ever taught. You’re constantly being haunted by the words of those pulling and pushing you.”

He nodded his head, his gaze meeting with yours. You heart panged in your chest.

“Speaking to you as your … friend, I suppose rather than your counselor,” you continued softly, “I understand the struggle you are facing. I too am facing a similar situation.”

Ren stared at you, his eyelids softly blinking as he considered your words. You felt naked after sharing that. You knew you had crossed a path where there was no going back. You had broken one of the most important rules of being a counselor: no self-disclosure. Then again, you had already broken so many rules before with Ren, what was one more?

“You are right,” Ren began softly. He considered you for a moment, the both of you staring at one another through the dark room. A small smile trickled across your lips as you tried to change the awkward silence into something else.

“Tell me about your home,” Ren asked suddenly, leaning back in his chair. You cocked your head to the side in surprise, your lips turning into a small smile. He wanted to get to know you, you realized.

“Well,” you began with a smile. You watched as Kylo’s lips curved into a petite smirk and you realized you never noticed how handsome he was when he smiled. Not that that was often, you mused.

“I grew up on Lothel, which is a rather remote farm planet in the Northern sector.”

You didn’t know how long you sat and conversed with Kylo Ren, but time had begun to have creep into the early morning hours when you felt yourself dozing off in your seat. He too sat opposite of you, head bobbing in his chair as he held his forehead with exhaust.

The light from the stars were much dimmer when you opened your eyes hours later, the feeling of your body being moved rousing you. You groggily moaned in protest, not realizing Ren was picking you up from your chair in his arms. Once you realized what was happening, you smiled in confusion and closed your eyes, resting your head on his shoulder as he carried you into his bedroom, gently placing you on his bed. How strange, you mulled weakly. This man who was so widely feared had just carried you in his arms like a small child.

Dazed with sleep, you rubbed your eyes as he rested himself down next to you, removing his gloves and kicking his boots off with fatigued haste.

You rested your head on the charcoal toned pillow, turning to look at him as you smiled softly in his direction. Blinking back sleep, he looked over at you too, his normally hardened expression soft with content.

Hesitating for a moment, you slid over the sheets closer to him and grasped his arm. You could feel his body stiffen in surprise under you before his muscles relaxed, his fingers slowly intertwining with yours.

“Thank you,” he mumbled quietly to you. By his tone, you could tell that his gratitude was not something he expressed often. You didn’t respond to him, you simply just nodded your head as you felt yourself fall back into a content slumber. You thought to yourself groggily how might have just been a small step above what you had expected this evening.

A/N: I’m sORRy! I would like to formally apologize to all those sexually frustrated individuals who are waiting patiently for that “scene”. Don’t fret, my Kylo-trash friends, it is coming! <3 I promise you. I just really wanted their relationship to grow a little bit more. Have some morals, people lol

That being said, please let me know what you think. Constructive criticism is always welcome. I appreciate it so much and it helps me a lot! I also would like to know if I’m veering too far from canon-Kylo, you know? Like I get it’s a fanfic, but I want it to be “realistic”. SEND ME MESSAGES. I LIKE DISCUSSING THINGS.

Thank you for reading c: <3

The car ride was horribly silent. No one spoke, no one moved. It felt as if all eyes were on you, as if you were the one who caused all this mayhem. You weren’t ready to die, if that’s what this was going to lead to. You had caused so much trouble so far, and it’s only been a day.

Dinner in Reverse

Title: Dinner in Reverse

Pairing: Reader x Dean (Sort of…)

Words: 2,690

Warnings: Swearing, ANGST, brief implications of smut

A/n: Based on the lovely fics by doctor-director-professor. I’m reversing the roles from these lovely fics of hers. Check ‘em out and follow her if you haven’t already! She’s a lovely human being who deserves some solid recognition for her writing!

The bunker had never smelled quite like it did right now. Meat was browning on the grill, beans warming in a pot over the stove, bacon sizzling away in a griddle — This, as Dean came to quickly realize, was home cooking at it’s finest. This was the stuff that beat out the whole lot of diners, fancy ass restaurants, those little road-side carts, hidden gems. This was how Saturday night’s should be spent, not chasing down the baddies. This was it. This was it.

Dancing Red

Requested by anon

Paperwork, paperwork, paperwork. That was your life. While Iron Man was off saving the work, you were back at Stark Industries, doing all his goddamn paperwork. You’d been Tony Stark’s personal assistant for nine months now and sure, it was pretty cool being that personal with Iron Man himself, he sure was hard work.

“Hey, (y/n)!” Tony yelled as he walked in to the officer “you coming to my party tonight?” he winked.

“Of course, sir” you answered “wouldn’t miss it for the world” you giggled. You never really enjoyed going to his parties, but if you missed any, you would never hear the end of it.

You were standing in front of your mirror with a dress in each hand. Holding one in front of you and then swapping back and forth, apparently this was a hard decision. Something about tonight’s party was different, usually you would just grab a dress and chuck it on, pin your hair up and off you go. But tonight, you were thinking really hard about what you were going to wear, how you would do you hair, and for what? You asked yourself… you had no idea.

You finally chose your dress, a flattering, black, one shoulder dress and a pair of killer red heels. Your hair was curled and you chose the brightest red lipstick you owned, well, let’s face it, the only lipstick you owned. You looked at the time ‘Shit!’you were running late. You grabbed your bag and rushed out the door.

You walked in to the party and immediately you felt someone’s eyes on you.

“Well! Look at you babe! Looking sexy” Tony said as he walked over to you. You really hated when he spoke to you like that, he was your boss, it was weird.

“Hello, Mr Stark” you replied.

“Tony, (y/n), it’s Tony” he said to you as he turned and headed toward the bar.

You heard someone call your name. You turned and saw Bucky walking over to you. He was wearing a suit and looked very uncomfortable, clutching his left forearm.

“Hey Buck” a big smile grew across your face.

“Hey” he gave you a hug, as he pulled away he grabbed his forearm again.

“What’s wrong?” you asked.

“Ah, I just don’t really want to be here, I don’t fit in…people are staring, they all look at me as the winter soldier…” he said looking at the ground.

It had only been a month since Bucky had stopped being ‘The Winter Soldier’ and gotten all his memories back and was still working on getting back to ‘normal’. You two had become close and he would often come to you with his problems.

“Hey” you said lifting his head up so that he was looking at you “wanna get out of here?” you asked, smiling at him.

“Sure, there is a great place two blocks from here, we can… uhm, have a dance?” he suggested nervously.

“Hey, I would love that!” you replied excitedly.

You walked toward to club, it was a 1940’s themed place, so you knew Bucky was already feeling a bit better. You linked your arm around his left, he looked up at you as if he were ashamed.

“It’s ok” you said.

You walked in the doors of the club, immediately Bucky took your hand and rushed you over to the dance floor. He turned to you and held out his hand.

“May I have this dance?” he asked.

“Of course” you curtsied and let out a little giggle.

The two of you danced for hours. Finally when you’d both had enough, you decided to leave. Bucky pushed the doors open and you both stumbled out, laughing and falling on each other.

Bucky put his metal arm around your waist and picked you up, spinning around with a smile on his face, looking deeply in to your eyes. He slowly lowered you to the ground.

“Thank you for tonight (y/n). You look incredible, you are incredible”.

He kissed you passionately. You kissed back. He pulled away and you both smiled at each other.

“That’s him!” you heard a loud whisper.

“Oh my god! Look it’s him, why is she kissing him?!” you heard another person say.

You turned to see a crowed of people staring and pointing.

“Yes, Louise! That’s the Winter Soldier!” you heard someone say to their friend.

“Bucky, don’t wor….” You started to say as you turned to make sure Bucky was ok. He was gone.
