You sat on a rooftop overlooking Queens. You’d already donned your black outfit and was now transformed into your alter-ego: Ghost. Your costume was simple and didn’t fully hide your face, but did it well enough that you weren’t easily recognizable. Either way, this wasn’t a massive problem as you could turn invisible at will.

Swinging your legs backwards and forwards, you looked eagerly around to see if there was any trouble. Of course, you didn’t want there to be trouble, but it would certainly make things a little more interesting.

As everything seemed quiet around you, you let your mind wander to lunch earlier that same day.

“It is with great sadness that I must announce that I’m not going to be able to make it to movie night tonight,” You said, taking a bite of your sandwich and resting your elbows on the table, dramatically making a frown face.

Peter looked at you with a look of disbelief, “You? Missing a movie night? Last time I tried to do that, you acted like I committed a crime!” he scoffed, laughing but didn’t seem to mind it, giving you a smile afterwards.

“Why are you ditching anyway?” Ned asked, taking a bite of his chicken nugget.

"Uh- Well- I-” You hesitated for a moment. You gulped and opened you mouth to speak before you were cut off by the school bell. Saved by the bell, you mumbled a quick goodbye before speed-walking to your next class where neither Ned or Peter were—thankfully—in.

You shook yourself out of your thoughts, It hurt you that you couldn’t tell them the real reason you had ditched. You just knew that even if they had supported the idea of you being a superhero, it meant that their safety would be breached.

Admittedly, you hadn’t wanted to skip movie night. However, you knew that criminals don’t exactly stop doing criminal things just so that you could watch a movie or two with your best buds. You couldn’t risk not going out tonight. You had felt it in your bones that something was going to happen tonight, but so far, it seemed your bones were wrong and you wasted a perfectly good night.

You were about to just give up on your ‘bone (rather than gut) feeling’ when you heard a piercing alarm go off from your right. It was a bank. Being robbed. By the Avengers?

Peter x Reader (I tried to be gender neutral)

Description: Based off of a prompt thing, Person A is sitting on a dock when person B pushes Person A into the lake but A can’t swim so B has to save them.

Send in a request if you want! My ask is open!

Warnings: None really just a kiss but that's about it if you don’t count my bad writing lol.

Your family owns a cottage on a lake and loves to invite friends and family to have vacations at, and your parents are really good friends with your neighbor May and Peter Parker. So one weekend during summer they thought it was a good idea to invite them to stay. It wasn’t. You have had a crush on Peter for years and spending quality time at the cottage was going to be a disaster. Every time you talked to him you’d stutter it was a wonder how you two had become friends, how could you not make a fool of yourself while spending time in such close quarters.

These were the thoughts running through your head as you sat at the edge of the dock admiring the beautiful lake at your cottage it was so peaceful, you needed peaceful right now to calm your feelings. You sighed closing your eyes and breathing in the fresh air, you wished you could tell Peter how you felt but you didn’t want to ruin the little friendship you had, better to be a friend than the weird neighbor with a crush.

As you were deep in your thoughts you hadn’t heard Peter approach you from behind you only realized his presence when you felt hands push you from behind. You panicked when you hit the water not knowing what to do. You tried to reach for the dock but your hand grasped at nothing, you splashed around desperately trying to bring yourself to the surface. You heard a splash and then felt two muscular arms pull you to the surface. As you reached it you gasped for air. “Oh my god y/n I am so sorry I didn’t know you couldn’t swim, I’m such an idiot!” Peter spoke as he dragged you to shore.

You coughed as you laid there soaking and cold. “I can’t believe I did that! I’m so sorry! I can’t believe I nearly killed you.” he spoke fast and apologetically. “Peter, Peter” You tried to get him to stop apologizing but he was more upset than you were. There was no way he could have known. “I can’t believe I almost killed my crush.” He whispered to himself and then continued his rambling looking away from you. “Peter, Peter stop! It’s okay, there was no way you could have known! I’m fine at least you didn’t let me drown.” you said holding his face to make him focus on you.

“I know, but I shouldn’t have assumed,” he whispered looking away. “I should have realized that you haven’t gone swimming this whole time for a reason. I should have…” you cut him off by kissing him, taking the words out of his mouth. At first, he was surprised but once he realized what he wanted to do this whole time was happening he closed his eyes and kissed you back. You pulled away slowly your eyes meeting his. “It’s okay Peter, I’m okay.” you cleared your throat, “I umm have to tell you something though…” he looked at you and you pulled away from him and closed your eyes. “I l-l-like you a lot.” you slowly opened your eyes to see him smiling wide, he grabbed your face and kissed you hard. “I like you too” he pulled away a let out a content sigh.

“That worked out better than I had planned.” he said breathlessly and you laughed “So nearly drowning me was better than your original plan?” his eyes widened “No! I just wanted you to talk to me or something you haven’t said much this whole trip.” he blushed a little. “I’m sorry, I was just worried about making a fool of myself.” you giggled and looked out at the lake, he laughed and put an arm around your shoulders pulling you close.

Tom Holland Imagine: Comic Con

Summary: You and Tom meet at Comic Con while you’re both promoting your new movies

A/N: I saw The Lost City of Z today and almost died because it was so good. It’s literally my favorite book of all time and when I found out Tom was going to play Jack is almost cried.

Warnings: none

Tom and the rest of the Spider-Man: Homecoming cast were in the middle of an interview when she first caught his eye. She was dressed in a blue floral dress when he saw her. Tom tried to keep his focus on answering the questions but his attention kept diverting to her smile. Her smile was the most enchanting smile he had ever seen and she had the most kind eyes of anyone he had ever met.

She was crouched next to a little girl and appeared to be singing. Although Tom couldn’t hear her, he knew she had to have the voice of an angel.

“So, Tom, got your eye on anyone?”

Tom snapped his head back over to the interviewer who was smiling at him.

Tom stayed quiet for a moment as he looked at Zendaya for help who simply giggled at the boy in distress.

“Um, I-uh… I don’t know. There’s one girl who I recently saw and thought was beautiful. But I haven’t had the chance to introduce myself to her yet…”

Tom could feel his cheeks heating up as the rest of the cast ooo'ed at his response.

Tom looked up to Harrison who was smirking at him.

Tom turned his gaze back to look for her, but she was gone. Tom felt like he was going to have a panic attack if he didn’t find her soon.

Luckily for him, the interview ended and he had 1 hour before their panel started. 1 hour to find the mystery girl.

Tom frantically looked around the mountains of people for the dark haired girl in the light blue floral dress. Tom prayed to whatever god was up there that he would find her and find her soon.

Tom was abducted from his prayers by a familiar voice calling his name.

He turned his head to see friendly blue eyes looking back him.

“Hey, kid. It’s been a while.” Sebastian said as he smiled sweetly at Tom.

Although they joked about having a rivalry, they were actually quite fond of each other.

“Oh, hey Seb. Sorry, I just saw this girl earlier and I’m trying to find her.”

“Oh? What’d she look like?”

“Ummm… dark hair, kind eyes, beautiful smile, she was wearing a light blue dress with yellow, black and white flowers on it.”

“I think I know who you’re talking about. Her name’s Y/N. She’s the voice of the new Disney princess. She’s probably in the break room, honestly. Or maybe try and find her booth?”

Tom nodded and took off towards the break room.

“Okay, bye, I guess…” Sebastian mumbled as he watched the lovesick boy run away from him.

Tom could hear people yelling his name for pictures, but he ignored all of them. He felt horrible for neglecting his fans, but he had to find her.

Tom finally reached the break room and saw the same beautiful smile from before as she read from a book of fairytales.

Everything felt like slow motion for Tom as he approached where she was sitting.

Tom had normally been good at talking to girls, but as soon as her e/c eyes met his, he felt hopeless.

His throat ran dry and he could hear his heart pounding in his chest while his stomach did cartwheels inside of him. He felt like he was no longer in reality, but placed in a fictional world of romance like in the movies his mom always watches.

Tom suddenly become aware of how much time had passed of him staring when he noticed her smile beginning to drop.

“Hi? Can I help you with something?”

And that was it. Hearing her voice. Her voice was as smooth as velvet and as beautiful as a sunset over an ocean.

Tom swallowed the lump in his voice and counted to three before blurting out a hello.

The beautiful smile returned to her face as she greeted him once again.

Tom’s cheeks heated up again.

“I’m Tom. I uh, I saw you earlier and I-I just, um-”

“He thinks you’re really pretty!”

Tom whipped around to see Sebastian standing at the door smirking, obviously enjoying the torture that the poor boy was in.

“Oh… is that true?”

Tom turned back to look at Y/N with wide eyes. He slowly nodded and felt his cheeks grow warmer if that was even possible.

Y/N smiled up at him before grabbing a notepad from the tables and a pen.

“Well, if that’s the case, maybe when you learn how to speak properly, you can give me a call.”

Y/N handed Tom the piece of paper that contained her phone number.

Tom smile brightly at Y/N before he heard them calling for the Spider-Man Cast to head to their panel.

“Maybe after this is over, I can take you to dinner? Would that be okay?”

“That sounds perfect.”

Watching you get dressed

Messes with my head

Take the bag off your shoulder

“Tom,” you whined as he tugged on the sleeve of your shirt from where he lay, shirtless, on his large bed. You were already dressed and your bag was packed. After staying with your boyfriend for an entire week in his current hotel in London, it was time for you to fly back home. As much as you wished you could stay with him forever, you had a job and your family to worry about back home. The two of you had spoken a few times about moving in together, but you had managed to keep your relationship extremely under wraps, what with Tom’s skyrocket to fame with the new Spider-Man movie having just been released. You figured that it was for the best that you left that for later in your shared lives.

“C’mon, just stay with me a little longer.” He begged softly, tugging again on your sleeve and running his hand down your arm. Your heart ached. His bed looked so inviting, and you could feel his warmth radiating as he laid there in his subdued, sleepy state.

Come get back in bed

We’ve still got time left

This don’t have to be over

You sat down on the edge of the bed as he played absently with your fingers, moving his head closer to you.

“I don’t want you to go.” He whispered.

“I know, baby.”

“Your flight isn’t for three hours, can’t you lay with me a few more minutes?”

You sighed, looking down at his sweet face for a moment, and then reluctantly dropping your bag on the ground. Tom’s face lit up as you moved closer, laying down on your side to face him.

“Just a few more minutes.” You mumbled as Tom smiled coyly. You hit his arm lightly. “Shut up.”

He laughed. “I didn’t say anything!”

“Uh huh.”

He laughed again, pulling you closer to him and resting his chin on the top of your head. You sighed contentedly. Moments like this made you wish wholeheartedly that you didn’t have to keep such a beautiful relationship secret from the world. Many of your friends didn’t even know, as you didn’t fully trust them to keep it a secret.

And you say it’s hard to keep a secret

Girl don’t leave me all alone in this hotel

And these shades can hide us from the streets

One weekend, I promise that I’ll never tell

“Let me change your ticket.” Tom said abruptly after multiple minutes of peaceful silence. You looked up at him in surprise.

“Please. Stay for the rest of the weekend.” His voice held a hint of urgency.

“Please, Y/N. Please baby.” He moved slowly closer to you and nuzzled his face into your neck.

You looked up at the ceiling, pondering whether or not it would be a good idea. You didn’t work on weekends anyway. You closed your eyes and inhaled, feeling an inherent sense of utter happiness as you laid there with the love of your life.

“Okay.” You said without opening your eyes.

“Wait, really?” Tom asked incredulously. You nodded again, breathing in deeply the familiar scent of clean sheets and Tom’s body wash that always seemed to linger. Tom carefully slid out from underneath you, almost running across the room to his laptop. You giggled to yourself, sitting up slowly and kicking off your shoes. You heard him typing quickly and covered your mouth to stop yourself from laughing, curling up against his warm pillow and waiting for him to return to bed.

You should probably stay here with me a couple more days

Come on let me change your ticket home

Don’t go, it’s not the same when you’re gone

And it’s not good to be all alone

This Woman’s Work: Tom Holland x Reader

Based on the song (flawlessly) performed by singer Maxwell. Inspired by @cocosierra94 hyping me up to write this under this pic of Tom holding a baby😭

Reader has complications during what’s supposed to be a normal childbirth and has to fight for her life.

Warnings: Angst, Hella Sadness, Death (???)

Words: 2k and some change.

You can take a quick listen here (highly recommend that you listen if you want to cry😂)

It’s not supposed to happen like this, Tom thought as tears streamed down his face. He sat in the private waiting room with both of your families. He let out a loud sob and his mother rested his head on her shoulder. “She’s going to make it.” She kept repeating that to her son whose mind explored what he could’ve done better as a husband as you fought for you and your unborn baby girl’s life.

“Are you nervous?” You joked as he drove to the hospital. “Me, I’m not the one giving birth.” He said. “Well by the way your gripping that steering wheel I would say you were.” You laughed and then winced once you felt a contraction. He jerked his head to look at you, “Are you okay?”

“Yeah, just the contractions.” You rubbed your stomach and smiled, “I can’t wait for her.” He nodded, “She’s going to be perfect.” He said loosening his grip from the steering wheel and took your hand. He pulled up to the hospital and ran to alert the staff.

You were wheeled to your room and made comfortable, “everyone’s on the way.” Tom said looking up from his phone. “Calm down baby.” You laughed taking in his anxious demeanor. “I-I’m fine.” He shrugged, taking a seat beside the bed. Six hours had passed and all of your family had been in the room to see you. “You two are going to be great parents.” Mrs. Holland gushed grabbing your hand. After a chatting for a while, you felt a fire shoot through your lower body. You let out an agonizing scream and Tom jumped up, “Are you okay love?”

“The contractions are getting closer.” You breathed. “I’ll go get the doctor.” His parents walked out of the room t o get your OB/GYN. The doctor came in and smiled, “So how are we doing?”

“They’re closer.” Tom answered. She put on her gloves and checked you, “You’re not dilated yet so we’ll give you the epidural and then let the magic happen.”
